This one kinda baffled me. What the HELL are you gunna take the antenna for? It doesn't really matter, but it's weird.

I want that car. It's the PERFECT donor for my engine. I wanted a clean 87-89 turbo for the LSD and better brakes...which this is. (Yes, D...don't know if you knew this or not, but your car is far superior to the previous 84-86 Z31s in many ways...they don't just have factory LSDs, they also have bigger, 2 piston brakes in the front and bigger brakes all around. The front brakes are the same size on the 87-89 Z31s as they are on the Z32TT.) If it's as clean as it apprears to be, it really would be the ULTIMATE donor car...

Well LLTZ, I work three jobs for a reason... I love money :lol:

I work as a cook for my bills, car payments, insurance, etc. I'm VP of my father's company, selling paper products, chemicals, cups, things of that nature, to restaurants, medical centers, hotels, etc. That job is for fun money. Then I design logos free lance, don't get many hits, but when I do, it's substantial pay. Not to mention I mow lawns in my neighborhood for $50 a lawn... Run 4 lawns a week, and that adds up nicely a month.

So basically, I work one job to pay for my living expenses. And three other jobs to pay for my hobbies. And I'm squeezing school in between, Damn I'm good :lol:

So life's hectic, and I'm sure it will catch up with me someday, but for now I'm enjoying rolling in money :p

It was as simple as this; I went to school, parked the car, chirped the alarm, and went to classes, I came back out and didn't notice ne thing until I got to my friend Rob's house for band practice... I went around the car to the passenger side to open up the door to get out my effects pedals, and bam the glass part of the mirror was missing and I was pissed.... than I started to walk towards the hatch to get out my guitar and amp head and I saw the dents on the fender...

I calmed myself by taking out my umbrella and started wacking the shit outa the nearest tree (what I would've given if there was a civic ne where in sight... or maybe just Wes... Wes would've done fine :D)...

I looked around the rest of the car for any damage and there really wasn't any...

I swear I'm sick and tired of all the new little dings, dents, and paint scratches I find on my car every day just because my mom doesn't feel like moving her car (which she hasn't driven in 15 years) out of our garage, and out to the garage that we own in the suburbs....

"I'm drive a Honda now, well, I still love 300ZedX's, but I simply cannot afford the maintenance... Not to mention that they take Premium Fuel, and don't get very good gas mileage... And they're expensive, did I mention that already?

Ok, so let's work out the equation, shall we?

$6,000 to spend...

On 300ZedX - ... Buy a stock Non-Turbo, or bad condition Twin Turbo
On Civic - Get one of the best suspensions, have 220hp on a stock engine with an LSD Transmission, and have full safety equipment.

Now... Engine maintenance is necessary on any car, and even more so when racing a car. And one Injector is reading way below it what it should be. So it needs to be replaced...

On 300ZedX - Great, Time to remove the Upper Plenum. 4 Throttle Cover hex bolts, 8 Main Support bolts for the Upper Plenum, 2 Bolts on each side for the EGR arms, disconnect the Fuel Dampener, disconnect the Fuel Pressure Regulator, disconnect and remove each Coil Pack, label the EFI Harness for placement on each individual sensor, remove Throttle Cables, wrestle with it to come off, scrape off old Upper-Lower Plenum Gasket, go to Nissan and buy a new one. Ok, now we're down to the bad Injectors. Order one from a member on Twinturbo.net, get a good deal at $10 + shipping. So it comes two days later, and the project can continue. Replace the bad Injector, and reassemble everything. Runs great now.

On Civic... Two main Fuel Rail Support bolts, pop out bad Injector, grab one of 1,222,560 spare Injectors in the shop, pop it back in the Fuel Rail. Bolt Fuel Rail back down. Runs great now.

Uh oh... Head gasket has gone out.

On 300ZedX - Ha... Hahahaha... I hate life.

On Civic - Hup... Done in 2 hours.

See my point? All of that money is being put towards my Race Car. And I will never race a Zed until I am making 6 digits a year.

wes, you can grind down the upper plenum where you can remove the fuel injectors without removing the upper plenum. :D

i am also working on switching all my fuel injector clips to GM fuel injector clips. they match up perfectly with a little grinding of the inside of the injector harness. GM injector clip are heavier duty and they have a quick release system. they also have a sure lock system. you push down and it clicks and then you pull up and it clicks again. i recommend it for any Z32 owners...

wes, just make sure you get a Z as soon as possible. im tired of seeing pictures of ones that your going to look at but you never bring one home. you can afford a small monthly payment on a 6k-7k car, an N/A Z32 would be a good daily driver.

The major problem is... I can't find one that's any good. Seriously, every single one I look at that LOOKS good, really isn't.

If a 1992 Non-Turbo Zed were to pop up in the Paper for $6,000... I went to look at it, and it was in good condition, I would jump on it.

But the fact is, these cars have been rare for years, especially ones in decent shape. So I'll get one when I get one.

And Delerious, our only team car is the '89 CRX Dragster. We all gets shots with it, but for the most part we race our own cars... It keeps blame from being thrown around when Shit breaks. :lol:
