some of you requested better pictures of the new wheels on the car. they are 18x8.5" in the front and 18x9.5" in the rear. 245/40/18 up front and 275/35/18 around back. i am going to try and get a shot of the rear of the car from underneath, just to put it in persective how wide these rear tires are. :D

Yea, you're going away for a long time, Yaggus, but I know you'll figure it out. Packing light becomes more and more important the longer you're gone.

they shouldnt get scuffed just sitting.
anyways, thanks fellas...i do like them, much better than the others.

you never know, you could drop a part as you're bringing it up to put in the car... anyway, as for that z31, i don't see how he's claiming 300hp with intake exhaust and a boost controller... hopefully there's more than meets the eye or i feel the pain for that motor...

That wing is pretty God Aweful.
Yea...intake, exhaust and a BC can get you NEAR 300hp in a Z31 and still be reliable. He's probably exaggerating, but most people do...this should be expected. It's still pretty fast, I'm sure.

Anyway, I got my Individual Throttle Bodies for the Shitvic tonight. Larry (Top Honda mechanic around) and I were going over the tune, and what to expect.
He says, with his CROME/überdate tune, I can expect a 28whp-30whp increase on my SOHC VTEC
If I compliment that with a ZEX Stage I Camshaft... I'd be looking at close to 50whp added all together just with that set-up.
I figure until the B18 is all built... I'll have some fun with the SOHC for a while. I can't wait to get these things on :evillol:

yeah it is the Z1 wide-body kit...the only difference between sean wagners and the rest of them, is that sean molded the wings west side skirts into the wide body kit. and he used a different front bumper. i forgot what front bumper he used and i dont feel like looking up a picture.

HA...I have a couple pics of that car saved on my computer! It's actually my wallpaper right now!
To make my computer a bit more unique looking, I have a program on my computer that removes all the desktop icons and another program that cycles the wallpaper every so often. I put the shortcuts for all the programs I use in a quick launch bar which is docked on the top of my screen. I have over 110 pics of various stuff saved on here...mostly cars...and that car pops up on here every day or two. When you look at my desktop, all you see is the wallpaper, the task bar on the bottom and the quick launch bar on the top. Makes it look much cleaner and the wallpaper is always changing...and all the software was FREE...
I'd give my right nut for that car in a heart beat. If I were to build a Z32TT, THAT'S what I'd be aiming for...

As for the ITB's... I didn't beleive it at first (When he told me how much power they add) until I watched the video of my buddies 1999 EX Civic with the same set-up.
The Dyno'd it before, and after... 28whp added. Just like he said
He now has a Crower Camshaft, Skunk2 Valvetrain, JE/Eagle bottom end, fully rebuilt engine. After the break-in was done, they dyno'd it again. Yikes... Let's just say I'm thinking of sticking with my SOHC now

Well I was walking on the beach tonight smoking a Cohiba Churchhill (Long Ass day... Had to wind down a bit), I saw a tour bus parked in the parking lot, and I heard this awesome accoustic music coming from the beach.
I walked down and listened for about 10 minutes, and they finished the song, and we got to talking. They're a pretty Damn good band. Has anyone heard of them?

-run all vacuum hoses (huge pain in the a**, re-check, re-check)
-splice in injector wiring harnesses
-splice new coil pack plugs
-re configure the radiator mounts to fit taller TT radiator
-install TT AC condensor
-finish driver's side intercooler piping and custom brackets
-run wiring for clutch depress switch (damn wiring schematics are impossible to read)
-re install front fascia
-install starter and slave cylinder
-install boost controller
-fill with fluids
-start the car, break in the car and check over for bugs and leaks
-take it to local track and pull 12 second passes :evillol:
as you can see...it is just a bunch of figuring out, drawing board, and tedious crap. nothing difficult or full of labor...just tired of doing it.

I think the fronts of the GT-R R32 or R33 look damn near dead on the Legend...maybe it's just me. I've never actually seen a Skyline, but I'd like to. Only ever seen pics and cars usually don't look the same in person. Like...I liked the new Eclipse in pics but hated it when I saw it in person...the stance of it is goofy, but it looks killer on tv and in pics. Go figure.
I always wanted to live in Canada. In general, you guys seem more sane up there for some reason. Americans are largely crazy...gangs and school shootings and all that stupid bull shit. Never hear about any of that up there. Don't know if it's cuz I don't live there or if it's actually less common up there.
The movie "Bowling for Columbine" portrayed Canada in a good way. But...you have to take his movies with a big grain of salt, too...so...

yeah, i never really liked eclipses... but i think i've elaborated enough on that enough times... lol
yeah, canada is a great place to live, everyone's pretty cool up here... not too many nutters... weather's usually pretty good... well... if you like winter i guess :p. but yeah, i'd say it's one of the better places to live in the world... but if anyone ever decides to come here, the west is the best place to be.. preticularly vancouver if you like the big city deal.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!!
thats actually a 2nd series R33 skyline :loser: To be fair it is sporting R34 wheels on it :p
If i had to live somewhere else in the world it would be either New Zealand or Canada. Hooray for the Commonwealth!!!
Australia, Canada and New Zealand are pretty similar though. We pretty much think along the same lines, we share the same sort of principals and concerns and stuff... Not to say that no one else does but to me it seems that Australian's and Canadian's seem to be more closely related.

i was thinking about moving to canada in the future. distant future...it does seem alot more calm and collective up there. nice place to settle down with a family without worrying about a psychopath bringing a gun to school or your daughter walking home from school and getting sexually assaulted. i hate the US...if it isnt the government controlling everything, its morons controlling everything. land of the free my a**...
plus you can import bad ass cars sooner...FD3S for one. in a couple years it will definitely be up for grabs. damn US 25 year law...id have to trust or travel to california just to get someone to import me a friggin 240Z.
anyways, i think i will finish it on my own...i am really on a f***ed up schedule so i work on it when i have time. which is usually very late at night. i would hate to have someone travel to help me, only to work on it for an hour or 2.
and delerious, you should have known better about that skyline ordeal...just look at the headlights. R34 got totally different headlights. i expect better now drop and give my 50, YATCH!!! :D

I'd personally prefer an R32 or R33 GT-R than the R34. The R34s are great cars, but the earlier ones were a bit more minimalist...bit more to the point. I like that. How easy is it to aquire such a piece of automotive art up there in Canada? About what's it cost? It'd cost me about 50 grand to get an R33 GT-R here. I've seen GT-S Skylines for around 20 grand, but I personally wouldn't waste my time with that...I'd have to get a GT-R.

Yeah R32's were built purely to go hard. They are the lightest and pretty much the fastest due to the lower weight. They are the original Godzilla but in not too fond of the shape so much. Its not quite
R34's had the most options and were the most comfy. Their engine also the most powerful and responded much better to mods that the R33 or R32' engines.
R33's are the slowest of the 3 but they are generally regarded as looking the best.
In Aust, you can pick up an R32 GTR for ~$20K R33 for ~$35 and an R34 for $60k+ Thats in Aust dollars as well so it about 3/4 of that in US dollars...
Skylines are nice enough cars, but for those prices, there are many other cars i would MUCH rather have...

www.importconcern.ca (http://www.importconcern.ca) is the place that i would import from... awesome guys with even better prices... prettymuch if you show them a car you've found in japan, they can get their guys over there to pick it up and import it.. check out their "broker stock" for pricing. everything on there is usually 90 or older, as that's all that's legal to import... 2 years until it's legal to import a tt FD :D

That's good shit. Wonder if it'd be easier to import a car from canada to the us than it is to import a car from japan to the us...

i have thought about it...
in the US it really isnt worth it to import a car no matter what teh circumstance. well, atleast that is the conclusion i came too.
plus you would have to pay a registered importer in the US to do all the paperwork over again. the car being shipped to canada will then have canadian paperwork and would serve no purpose in the US.

So, if I bought a car in Canada and wanted to bring it here, it'd be just as difficult as trying to bring one from japan? I thought Canadian rules with cars were much like ours.

That's just so bad ass, though...

its not half as difficult as the US...
im just saying that you would have all canadian papwerwork for the car and then you essentially have to import it again from canada to the US. canada would more than likely just put another step in an already crazy ordeal.
if you think about it, it makes sense...
from japan to canada = canadian paperwork for the car
from canada to US = US paperwork and registration forms
from Japan to US = US paperwork and registration forms
so why not just skip canada...the only reason why i could see getting canada involved would be they may have access to higher quality cars at the auctions they go to since it is more popular in Canada to import a car.

GET THE PROFEC, MAN....lol
I thought bringing cars here from canada is easy, but I guess not. I thought importing cars from Japan to canada is easier than importing cars from japan to the US. These reasons are why I thought it might be easier to import to canada, then here. More paperwork, yes, but thought it could be easier in the long run. I dunno. This is all kinda pointless anyway cuz I HIGHLY doubt I'll ever do this...lol
