dunno if it's made a difference yet.. haven't taken it out for a rip yet... maybe sometime tonight or something... good to hear you got the bolt out probe, i hate it when stuff like that happens.

k3 you should have ordered me a profec b spec II while you were at it :p

yeah right...i cant afford 2 profec B's. just mine. :D

conceptzperformance is way overpriced i think...

i am looking at a radiator right now that should last me for a while until i can afford the Howe/electric fan/custom radiator bracket package.

i will be ordering my radiator ASAP...the wheels and tires kind of set me back a little but it all doesnt really matter since the car isnt ready to be started or anything yet.

I was prepping the heads for install today and started thinking:

Since they aren't installed yet...I could probably get a port and polish job done on them...wouldn't be too much more...

Hey guys, how has everyone been?

Life is finally becoming a bit more under control, so I can get online more often now.

Just a litte update for you guys. The Civic is now, the Race only car. It is getting ready to be untitled, and taken off the insurance.

The rear portion of the car has undergone a thorough weight reduction, removal of sound deffining material, excess sheet metal and electronics such as ABS control.

The stock motor is being pulled out, and the B20B motor is getting ready to go in. The B20B motor is out of the Honda CRV (Yes, an SUV motor into a coupe :evillol: ). The motor is in the machine shop at the moment, getting 85mm JE 11:1 Compression Ratio pistons, with High Ratio rings, Eagle Rods, ACL Bearings, ARP bolts, and getting the stock Crankshaft Micropollished, Balanced and Knife Edged.

As for the Head, the B20B head is being sold. We're putting a VTEC B18C1 (Integra GSR) Head on top of the torque monster B20. The motor will be good for revs into 9,000RPM and will produce as much Torque as it will Horse Power (near 250bhp).

The head is being milled down .030, getting a Three Angle Valve, new valve seals and guides, combustion chambers pollished, and the exhaust and intake ports matched. Not to mention it will be held down with ARP Head Studs.

We're building the intake manifold right now. Four Individual Throttle Bodies :naughty:

We're taking the Throttle Bodies off a Sukuzi GSX-R 600. Welding them onto the ports, which are welded onto the Intake flange. We're fabricating up the TPS (Throttle Possition Sensor) onto the Throttle, so the readings will be accurate. The Throttle bracket off a D16A6 will mount directly on, making for accurate throttle. And RC550cc injectors will mount directly into the injector ports after a small bore job. Also, the Golden Eagle Vaccum Manifold will take care of the Vaccum line issue.

After the Intake is complete, I'm taking it up to Jacksonville (I can't remember the name of the company off the top of my head, although I have it written down somewhere) to have a Carbon Fiber 'Surge Tank' created.

The Transmission I bought is fully Race Built. With Cryogenically treated internals, and Carbon syncros. It will last a life time. The Transmission is out of a JDM EG6 Civic with B16A motor. It will have VERY tight gear ratios, first gear is pretty much useless at WOT.

So... 250bhp Inline Four Honda motor, 2.0liter DOHC VTEC with ITB, good for revs into 9,000RPM, and the tightest B-Series Transmission... Sounds like an Auto Cross motor to me

I'll post pictures up soon. How's everyone elses projects coming along?

Haha, I know seriously

I'm still searching for my perfect Zed... I've come across quite a few, and none of them have really 'done it' for me. Either they are WAY over priced, or they are pieces of Shit. I'll find one, soon I hope.

Jason, as for the suspension, I forgot to mention. As of now the suspension is Tokico HP Struts/TEIN S Tech Springs, Skunk2 Front-Rear Camber Kits and Suspension Techniques Front Sway Bar.

Soon, I'll have Koni Yellows (Best Shocks hands down) and Eibach Sport-Line Springs. Full Chassis bracing, and a 6-Point Roll Cage. At which point I'll break down and buy a good Racing Seat, and 5-Point Harness... They're just so Damn expensive

How's the Twin Turbo conversion coming Jason... And Delerious... Nice Zed31 :D

pshh, you will be doing 11's behind me... you got alot of catching up to do Jorge, im waiting to see something.

I thought you were installing it in as 'stock'? I'm buying all my mods then installing... I figure it will be easier this way...... I figure about 500rwhp and I'll be running 12's... with some tuning and suspension/weight loss mod's then I'll be running 11's with more HP and hopefully knocking at the door to the 10's......... I've got one more year of payments on this bitch... then after that all my $$$ is going into the engine/tranny. Plus I'm gonna go to Welding 'school' and maybe get ASE certified if things work out.... so that will help me out with cash-flow.

Uh...yeah...11s come AFTER you finally figure out what you're going to do with the car.

My dearest, Broke... how right you are! Words are meaningless! But I can assure you I will have one of the fastest Z32's here in due time. Please be patient... BTW: How fast are you going right now, Broke?

Broke_as_****
07-12-2005, 12:35 AM
Uh if you are making 500rwhp and only running 12s then you must either be running a 100% drift car or just can't drive.

And according to the closest approximent calculations, I am currently doing 128,000 miles an hour, give or take 10k.

I'm guess-timating here. I figure I'll be running 12's without proper engine and suspension tuning and on Street radials.... once I pop out all the kinks and drop weight (remember I'm a fatty 2+2) I'm hoping low 11's and into the high 10's.... what do you think guys?
