Basically every car made in Japan had an AWD Counterpart made somewhere down the line. That sounds like an amazingly rare car, jump on it Yaggy!
Hell, one of my buddies lucked up and found an AWD 1992 Civic  now those are some rare cars right there. He's importing the body shell and transfering all of his existing Civic parts onto it.
Keep in mind... He's got a 500whp Set-Up right now... Add AWD to that. :evillol:

yeah, i would like to see the final product of that adventure. :D
anyways, worked on the car tonight...
oil cooler back in, AC condensor back in, starter working, Power Steering lines all back together, intercooler piping in, fuel system wired, etc.
so basically everything put back together except a few wiring tricks for the reverse lights and the radiator. so i should be ready to start it right? well i am...went to start it, cranks but no signs of life whats so over...not a puff or anything, no engine noise. so, i check some things over...its getting fuel. try it again...same thing (S**T!!!)
pull a plug and hook up the coil pack to it...try it again. absolutely no friggin spark what-so-ever. ponder for a few minutes...try it again out of frustration, still nothing. i then go and play with teh ECU, switch back to my N/A, still nothing.
soo...long story, short. i am ready to put the car back together completely but i am getting no spark causing the engine not to start, causing me to rip out my hair.
so...does anybody have any ideas? keep in mind, i did no splicing or any messing around with the ignition wires. just disconnected them when i pulled the motor and reconnected them when i put the new motor in.

Pix coming soon. I got rid of that fake BRIDE about two moths ago and I had no intention in even buying anything else because I wanted to buy tires for my new wheels... but I went to Baker-Precision's 'garage-sale' last weekend and they had a bunch of SPARCO items marked down 20% and up to 80%! I paid $300 total for the seat and harness just becasue the seat as returned because it had a small scratch on the fabric! These go for like $600+! Fiber-glass shell makes it really light... actually thinking about getting one for the passenger side! Would really kill some weight!
I don't think the seat is too uncomfortable since it has lumbar support pads and is extra cushioned. I don't mind it a bit... but then again I don't drive my Z as often anymore since I started car-pooling.

Oh I haven't installed mine either... I'm using it as TV seat as we speak... breaking her in! So I can relate to Wes! ;) I also bought the Z32 specific bracket but I need the slider still I guess? The guy at that sale kinda confused me cus he said I needed like two more items to actually install... but as far as I can tell I only need the slider? Plus I gotta figure out where to mount my left side harness point... the right side mounts to the bracket and the rear/shoulder harness can be mounted to the 2+2's rear left passenger side's seat belt mount (that means the rear seat is gonna get pulled out boys! How much weight do you think I'll be losing?).... may as well strip the whole rear out.

Yea, I sat mine on top of my computer chair ;)
I've been breaking her in for a few weeks... It's got my Ass imprint nailed:lol:. But I went over to MADSPEED (Local Honda/Acura Performance shop ran by one of my friends) He hooked me up with the Sparco Slider/Bracket combination. Free, as long as I replace what I took before their Race Car is finished.
So the seat's going in tonight... A bit of fabrication to get the Seat Belt Bracket on, but other than that it should be all good.
I'll post pictures up of my goofy Ass sitting in it... And you're right, my shoulders come half way up the head rest, so the 'shoulder supports' are supporting my back... It's pretty comfortable actually.

your really having problems with seats aren't you? first the Bride turns out to be a Fake, then you buy a sparco and cant install it. whats next? A Recaro that breaks in half once installed? just jokin' with ya Georgy.
Well, I was so excited about the SPARCO's price I forgot to ask what else I needed... wish you guys were as close to LA as I... there were tons of 'damaged', returned, out-of the box, display seats around there. Wish I had an extra $300 at the time....
Yeah... that fucking 'BRIDE' seat... ended up selling it for $150 to some guy in our club. I know better now! DON"T BUY BRIDEs WITH 'SUEDE' MATERIAL, GUYS! IT's A FAKE!

Haha... Well live and learn.
All you need is the Universal Slider, and I would suggest picking up the Sparco hardware kit as well, in the event of a Roll Over, or head on collision, do you really want to place your life in the hands of Home Depot's fine engineered bolts?
Anyway, if you have the Bracket, you're good to go, you just need the slider and some hardware... Go ahead and expect to get the Dremel or Drill out for the install though. It's nothing serious, just widening the mounting holes a bit.
This is what you're going to have to do, more than likely...

BWAHAHAHAHA
He'll stick to the carpet... Not the wall.
And I'm not getting a Harness until I get a Roll-Cage... The point of a traditional seat belt is to provide you with the option of ducking the the side during a Roll Over.
If you have a Harness holding you straight up... Your head is going to be taking the force of the Roll Over.
So after the she's Turbocharged, and everything's out of the way, I'll get an Auto Power bolt in (Yeah... BOLT IN) Roll Cage, and a Sparco Harness... Until then, the stocky will do fine.
