Well, I definately want to get rid of it now. Some-one told me this is one of the better 'knock-offs' and they generally go for $200-$300. I paid $500. I just that at the worst I was buying a stolen BRIDE or something. that's what i get.

im rolling the the 16" Nissan 300zx stockers...N/A style. im thinking about getting these wheels that you would fall in love with but i dont think it would look right on my car, at all.

well, i just gained alot of respect for Z32 owners who have pulled the upper plenum off while the motor was in the car. i dont know how you guys did it but damn...your good. it was a bitch for me to get off while the motor was out of the car. :lol:

well anyways, new pictures of the motor coming very soon. i think you guys will like the new color scheme. :D

i will take pictures tomorrow. its not at all even close to done but all the stuff that should be done while the car is out is done.

still have alot of parts to send in to get polished...and still need to get some red silicone hosing to really bring out some color. the engine bay should be pretty much done and set in stone by the time i park it again this coming winter. :lol:

i think my project for next winter will definitely be smaller than intended...going with some bigger turbos and fuel injectors to match. thats about that...i will go from there later.

on another note, i went and looked at a house today, if anybody wants to move to illinois they can stay with me and help me make the payment. beautiful ranch style house in the country, brick, with a 2 1/2 car garage...2 acres of land. :naughty: i go and talk to the bank tomorrow...i doubt i will get it, not enough credit established. probably not a very good idea anyways, right now atleast. ill probably wait another year or so.

:lol: well i didnt get approved...not enough credit established and my mother just filed for bankruptcy on her credit cards so that wouldnt help my cause. oh well, its probably better off that i save another year or so and then start looking.

received the last piece to the puzzle today...oil feed line for the pasenger side turbo. now once the engine bay is ready for the motor, i can drop it in and start getting it back together. :D

i have 2 credit cards with fairly large limits that get used quite often and i have a taken out 2 loans and a recent one of right under $10k. the recent loan i took out on the GTP almost got me the house. but i still came up shy...damn banks, who wouldnt want to loan an 18 year old $115k??? :lol:

guys this is depressing.... i haven't found a single suitable z for me yet... it's been damn near a year now and i still haven't found anything reasonable... i'm starting to think i'm going to have to find something and make it what i want it to be... or pay the price for what i want (i've seen some 86 turbo's going around 5700-6000 lately, it's sickening) even the autoauction has nothing.... it's just not fair dammit... as for my car, the only thing i have left to do to the motor is, finish swapping the Power Steering Pumps and AC condensors. then install the new oil feed line....then it should be ready to drop in.

the engine bay i still need to paint eventhough i have it sanded. splice some wires and finish installing the intercooler piping. ROCK & ROLL BABY!!! :lol:

some random pictures of the new paint scheme. the pictures dont do it justice...it looks like i oversprayed alot especially on the boost and intake piping but i didnt. it just looks like that because of the clear coat and flash of the camera. the upper plenum is looks really cool with sun light. it glistens due to the glittery gun metal paint i found. looks really awesome....

It's not for me, it's for the company my father works for. It's a F450 with a service box on the back they got for a great price. He's paying the whole way out and back and I'm picking up a nice chunk of change on top of that. Anyway, I found out today that the truck is actually in Oak Park, Michigan so I guess I won't be going through Illinois.

and about the paint...it was all in the plan to have my engine and bay looking near show quality before they came together. i had a color scheme picked out in my head but i think it will look better with the new scheme. a engine bay worth showing makes the car that much better in my eyes...everything doesnt need to be painted like im doing but i think if you go to the trouble of swapping out a motor or something, you should get somethings cleaned up a little before putting it all back. i cant wait to get some pictures witht he sun on it...it looks like i made a whole new house of color paint color. :D

well i was thinking that there would have to be a small group that would be dedicated to making the whole trip...i realize some of us have jobs and such where you can only get a week of vacation time or whatever, so some people may only be able to travel a couple states and then head back. but then there would be a limited amount of people that make the whole trip around.

hell we could even hop a fairy and go to austrailia to visit mikeman and yaggus. on that note, might as well, stop by Japan and get his 200ZR first hand and then ill pick up a R32 GTR.

Speaking of 200ZR's, there have been about 3 of them on my auction site recently. Havent they come up on your site?

And dont pick up a R32 GTR, they are ugly. There are HEAPS of them around here at the moment. Lots of them got brought in via our 15 year rule before they closed it off.
