so today i had awesome experiance on the freeway, i was drivin home from work and i see this orange car with a very distinctive shape to it, i knew what it was but could barely believe it, a brand new Lots Elise, i ran with er for about 6 very fun miles, weaving traffic at about 85-90, it was awesome, and the thing was the driver was a chick, and a 45-50 year old chick at that lol how funny but i got off at my exit and she waved goobye........man those are cool cars to see on the road in action

i havent seen one yet...they are great little cars. and now they are reasonably priced. the only thing i dont like about it is the celica motor (i think) thats in it. come on now...i mean i cant really argue with the power its putting out but come on...give me a turbocharged 4 cylinder or something.

yeah true...but your also talking about Ford Europe style...Ford creates some awesomely powerful engines/cars in europe. the USA never sees these though because we have no use for them, atleast thats fords take on the situation.

Well the trip up to big white was pretty fun.. it was between 3-7 degrees both days (high 30's to mid 40's) so the snow was pretty crappy, but other than that it was pretty good... the night life was decent as well.. got a good story from it so it's all good:D

guys i think it's time for a change... wanting to get rid of my 300 for something with a turbocharger... like a 300zxt or tt.... lol.. i've got 2 options right now, one that just came up today... it's either 2 grand for a z31t that 'needs tune up' and has a rebuilt engine/turbo and 197000 km on the body...

or... go for the twin turbo i've been looking at for a while.. not sure how many miles on it, but it looks like it's in prime shape.. this would be my first choice, but i'm sure it'd put me far deep into debt, not only with the car, but the insurace and gas prices as well... (just went up to 91.9 a litre for regular here... that's 2.86 per gallon) so i'm sure premium's up around 3.25 per gallon... so either way i'm going to be paying out the ass for gas...

yes the ecu can throw a code without tripping "the Idiot Light" ..no the "Idiot Light" does not come on everytime the ecu throws a code. I believe it only comes on when a engine code is thrown anyother aspect of the vehicle the "idiot light" will not come on..

if i were you, i would get the Z31T...but thats because i hate being in debt. i would wait until you can really afford to do what you want with the Z32. if i were you i would get the Z31T now and then once your out of college and you have a good full time job...get the Z32TT.

Hey guys... Been gone a while. Been a little bit busy with reality, so I haven't had much time for AF.

Anyways, the Auto Cross went great, I only lost first place by .02 of a second... And that was to a 1994 Civic Hatchback with a B18 racing suspension and really grippy GSR Wheels and Tires.

So if my 'stock' Civic only lost to him by that little amount... Hell Im a good driver :lol:

I was running S2000's 350Zed's really beasted out STX Del Sol's, Eclipse GS-X's, Eclipse GS-T's with 450+bhp, Lancer EVOVIII, and the one Im really happy about... The 2004 500bhp WRX STi :)

The cool thing is, during the test and tune (Feb. 26th) I ran a 50.1... Which I was thoroughly excited over... My best time during the actual race was a 47.865 :evillol:

So I guess what they say is true... 'Auto Cross is 5% Car and 95% Driver'

i do have a full time job... so i technically could afford the z32tt if i really wanted to... only problem is my insurance is about to (close to) double within the next few months because of my accident in the integra (plan didn't expire till sometime around summer) so if i were to get the tt... even on basic insurance i'd most likely be paying 450+ a month... which is sickening... but i'll probably be paying 300 a month for insurance when it changes over anyway... maybe i should call the insurance company and see what's up

D, how fresh is it? If fresh use some paint thinner in a place that won't show and see if it does any damage to the paint. If not use it.

it might still be ok...even with paint thinner the car paint takes alot of elbow grease to get off.

I sold it at a car show to a company called topspeedauto. i couldent refuse there offer. I will be getting a new one soon.

thanks, ya it was nice 489 ponys to the wheels. carbon fiber drive shaft, crower built a custom engine kit for it. It was nice, but when someone comes to you and says ill give you 63,000 cash you really cant say no. the car had about 40,000 in work done to it so i really wasent loosing anything. ill try and get some pics of it up for you so you can see what im talking about..

i finally had a little time to get a little work done on the Z31 tonight...i didnt feel like starting the motor pull on the Z32 because i want to do it all at once instead of doing a little this week and a little next week.

anyways, i got the new headlight switch installed and that fixed my headlight/dash light problem. i did a little sanding...then i took it for a good run after i changed the flat tire out. rides real nice and smooth and the exhaust is friggin loud that i put on it. wow...i guess the only thing i really have left is to finish the right bank of plugs and wires and painting it. then it should be ready for someone else to take care of...

BTW: where the hell has Jared and Jorge been??? neither one have been in in a month or so...wes too. he has been on like for a split second once ever couple weeks. what is going on??? :eek7:

this is mainly for broke and freak since they have recently replaced the shift knob on their Z32's...when you looked at the shift knob, could either one of you tell if there was anyway to remove the leather from the shift knob without like cutting it off??? the reason i am asking, i want to order some leather with sliver stitched shift boots but i want the shift knob to match and i want the stock shift knob...
