so i have been considering trading in the GTP next summer/fall and maybe getting an Audi S4. what do you guys think? any other ideas?

id like something quick, under $25k, doesnt have to be a 4 door but needs to have a backseat, has to have style, dont mind being used b ut must be practical and reliable, dont mind RWD but prefer AWD, FWD, must be pretty sporty but still classy....kinda if narrow but that is what im looking for. i have been really looking at the Audi S4 but im open to other ideas...maybe a G35 coupe.

hey freak ill be the first to admit those plates are pretty tight. Theres these ones in columbus that are yellow background and red lettering that ive seen a few times and really really wanted to match my red car. (the normal ohio plates are just white with blue lettering,boring) but i went to the BMV and they said the yellow ones are specifically for cars being driven with restricted licenses so im pissed.
and as for cars for k3, u could always go with one of the saabs some of the newer ones really kick ass, i just picked up a 2001 saab 93 for my sister last week, 3.0 v-6 turbo, fwd, leather, cd, sunroof, its a fuckin nice car and it really moves.

ehh...yeah, i like the new saab's but they are made by GM and they dont hold their value that great. thats the main reason i want to get rid the grand prix, i want to get rid of it before it is worth nothing. therefore maybe next year, i could trade it in on an audi or something. but yeah, saab's are nice and i hadnt thought about them. any others?

yeah, the VW, i think thad be an extremely fun FWD car to use while the Z is in for the winter/down for upgrades ( maybe even for autoX ?)

The G60 Corrado is a pretty sick car... Just get that Supercharger replaced when you get it, those things tend to go out VERY easily.

i like it but i think it is a little too luxury for me. yeah it has good power but for some reason it just doesnt say what i want it to say. i will have to further think about it.

as for the audi corrado...i have never seen one let alone know anything about it. years? price? looks kinda of small...is it like a golf type size? doesnt quite look like my style but it seems to have the fun and rare factor on its side.

as for the corrado, yeah it's sort of golfish... not quite as blocky tho.. the mid 90's models look pretty slick... i'll see if i can find some pics...

alright... avg free is fucking useless... just about with every other antivirus out there... i'm using mcaffe right now and it's alright... can get the full version from most torrent sites... only suckers pay for software:sunglasse

also, try out HijackThis... a nice little program that scans the computer and comes up with a list of stuff that's on it... usually any sort of name you don't recognize or a bunch of random letters/numbers is something that shouldn't be there... google "HijackThis" no space, and you should be able to find the program... if you don't feel confident deleting stuff (it scans vital system processes as well) then take a screenshot of the results and post it up here and i'll tell you what to get rid of.... also lavasoft adaware is pretty decent too.. however, my newly upgraded "Zone Alarm" firewall is pimp.. it shows every process that's running and lets me pick and choose what to close down, kill, or block if i can't remove it from the computer...

i used to have Zone Alarm, but i didnt like it, it was *TOO* intrusive, i got sick and tired of clicking allow. i have mcafee right now and it is working just fine.

that's why you click 'remember this setting' when you click yes lol... only problem i have with it is my halflife launcher doesn't seem to like it

Got HijackThis. Gunna scan in a min. Sure it'll find all kinds of stupid shit. AVG found some stuff and got rid of it, but apparently not all of it. I STILL have this little fucking yellow triangle with an exclimation [sp.] point in the middle of it flashing down by my clock. Such a pain in the nuts. And sometimes a little balloon will pop out of it saying some shit about how "my computer is infected, click here to fix them" or something. Clicking it just takes you to some software publisher's site...imagine that. AVG did help alot, however...so I can't diss it too badly. I was using McAfee that came with my computer but it expired and I didn't wanna pay the 40 bucks or whatever to renew it.

I don't use Zone Alarm...I use Sygate Personal Firewall and it does basically the same thing. It works pretty well.

I don't like paying for software, either. It's just that warez sites and torrent sites are the WORST, EASIEST places in the WORLD to pick up viruses and the like. I was on one last week and, as I was looking around, a little window popped up saying "program installing"...I quickly clicked the cancel button and it said "cancelling"...then it resumed on its own, finished and disappeared. Nothing I could do and I have no idea what it was. All that took about 3 seconds...literally...if that. We'll see what this HijackThis thing comes up with.

yeah, the site i use (torrentspy.com) is really good for that sorta stuff.. no pr0n, no adware, just clean easy torrent files... it's good stuff... and there are ways to run fully registered programs without paying:sunglasse

it's a pain in the ass for popups and such.. just means it might be infected with spyware too.. oh well

anyway.. so i washed the car again and hit some spots with meguiars scratch-x... man did it ever work wonders.. there was a spot on the rear bumper where someone must have been leaning against it with some sort of abrasive material so there was a bunch of tiny scratches... hit it with the stuff and they completely disappeared.. good for getting rid of door ding marks too (people that park beside me suck!) does just about everything aside from using a professional buffer system...

also, i was looking around in the engine bay today, and i took a look at my oil filter and found that there was some blackish cruddy stuff that had streamed down the top of it... i would have guessed it oil if i hadn't switched to synthetic which doesn't turn that colour... i'm guessing the new stuff broke up some old clumps of built up crap in there and sprung a new leak or two... if it gets really bad i spose i'll take a look at it, but it's just a few drops so i'm not too worried about it

i switched to synthetic and it hasnt created any leaks, of course, i think my seals were replaced a little bit before i bought it.

All torrent sites that I know of are completely riddled with porn and spyware. Porn I can live with...but spyware and viruses piss me off. I downloaded "Shoot The Mesenger" today. It was recommended to me by one of the dudes on that computer forum I gave you the link to at the start of all this. It turns of Windows' Messenger that spyware and viruses use to annoy you.

hmm, yeah i got hit with a bunch of spyware when i installed msn plus... took me forever to get rid of it... maybe i'll try running that program.. did you just search google for it?
