Someone manipulated the original sign to make it say moon instead of what it originally said (I have no idea what it originally said...) but you can see where they scratched off what looked like an 'R' and replaced it with an 'N'.

I just took a picture of the sign, I thought it was funny. I was taking pictures of my car down at the inlet (it was FAR too windy on the beach side that day) and I noticed something funny with the sign that was posted behind my car... I didnt relize people mooning boats was such an unlawful act :lol:

my street turned into a very nice beach a couple days ago. i should take some pictures...

it warmed up to 70 degrees wednesday so all of our snow melted then that same night we got 6 inches of rain. well our river didnt handle all that liquid and it drownded the park 2 blocks down my street and it is comign up the block before mine. pretty crazy!!!

our streets finally dried up here, but damn the 0 freaking degree weather. i can't stand cold, i want to move down south.

its a crimminal offence in states that dont find it illigal to be a prostetute. Like Nevada. In other states its a matter of descression by the courts. She could sue you for theft of services, or for failure to pay on your end of the contract. (there is a legal term for that but I cant spell it or even remember it.)

Funny story:

I was at work yesterday, and it was about 33degrees and raining (yea, thats Wilmington during the winter for you) and I was out getting carts... When I look across the parking lot, and I see this 16-17 year old kid... Rave dancing.

I couldnt believe it, so I got closer and started watching... He was in fact, standing next to his mothers car, dancing around like he was trippin' on acid.

He looked over and saw me, and stopped... Doing a half hearted dance waiting for me to walk away. So I do so in a full out laugh :lol:

I get inside and get all of my fellow employees that I could (without the managers seeing) to see this guy, so I knew I wasnt crazy.

Everyone started busting out laughing... It was inevitable though... Someone bet me to go out and start dancing with him, so I grab my camera to go do so, and I get out there... And hes in the car now, and still dancing :lol:

To the casual observer, it would look as if some newly weds couldnt wait.

And just as I was about to start filming the 4Runner vibing up and down, his mother returns, and asks sternly 'WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!'

... I reply 'the car... Its uh... BOUNCING'

To which she looks at it and asks '... Wa... Was he dancing outside of the car again? God I've got to talk to him about this'

well here in the next few days i will be ordering an auto to 5-speed conversion if this deal goes through. the TT trans has 40k miles on it as does the rest of the parts except the clutch. the clutch is an upgraded piece (i forget the name of the company) and it has 10k miles on it.

then hopefully i will be getting this job...im excited about the new job. this could be my big break in life. :D *keeping fingers crossed*

i almost got the Z31's new exhaust hung, just need to remove the stock muffler hanger and fab up a new one. then it should hang exactly where i want it. hopefully i will have pictures by the weekend...its below 0 and i ran out of propane. yeah, im not going out there. brrrrr...........

Well I started a new car fund for my 300ZedX... Im thinking this might be a fun idea:

Get a 1990 or so Non-Turbo, with or without engine problems... Get a Twin Turbo engine from the wreckers yard. Put some AMZ Non-Turbo headers on the VG30DETT (hold on you'll see :D )... Then after the headers, make a 'Y' pipe leading directly into an 18G Turbo :D

Run that intake turbines output into a vertical row intercooler, split the flow into two at the top end (for the double TB plenum)... That would be one hell of a car.

It would be somewhat like Joel Grannas' but the Exhaust Manifold design would be MUCH cheaper, and easier.


I figure I can pick up a shitty Zed32 for a grand or so, the Twin Turbo engine will be about $1,250 from the local wreckers, sell the turbos and exhaust manifolds on Ebay for about $200 or so. Aftermarket Twin Turbo radiator and electic fan (no idea how much), AMZ Headers for about $350, 18G Turbo for about $1,000, intercooler for about $550 custom made (I know a guy in the business), HKS Sequential BOVs about $600, and miscellanious piping will be another $200-$350.

Should be a fun project :D

About the dancing kid..... I like to listen to Trance music AKA Rave music and I dance quite a bit sometimes.. more than I should. Most of the time I am just doing it to kill time or be stupid. I dont care what most people think, I look at them and think.... my car looks better and is faster than theirs is. My favorite time I have ever done something as bad as the kid at your job was, I was working in Houston as a emmissions inspector and it was about 96 deg outside I had in one of my progressive CDs and I decided we aint doing nothing so I cranked it up and was dancing for about 6 hours even when I had customers come in, at least I put a smile on some of their faces.

We'll see George... Its probably another project that will be out of my mind in a few weeks, but it sure as Hell would be a fun car.

I'm going to start taking measurements and seeing where this thing could go... Because as you probably know... An 18G Turbo isnt exactly COMPACT :lol:

do it wes...it will kind of be like those custom turbo set-ups for camaros and stuff. they put the turbo all the way at the back of the car and run boost piping all the way to the front. their was a discussion about this being done in the 240sx forum a while back...their are negative effects on the boost when you move the turbo back further away from the engine. but anyways, it sounds like a great project...

i wish i would have started with a shell and went from there. i would have saved myself alot of money and headache!!! i see a good shell all the time or a Z32 that would make a good shell once you pulled the blown motor...

Now your starting to think like a smart person. Get a shell cheap and build it the way you want and save a bundle.

Yea it should be a good project... But think about it... Exhaust gases start flowing the instant you fire it up. So your boosting just fractions of a second after you would be on a direct manifold set-up.

Plus think how much easier this would be...

Also I would get to say 'Yea my cars a Turbo... And yes I did say it has headers on it :D '

I've just got to figure out all of the damn angles on the piping... God thats going to be a Hell of a headache :rolleyes:

Remove the transmission! Now you have plenty of room behind the engine!

yeah that's gunna take some pretty serious heat shield working and stuff to be able to not melt a hole through your firewall... or whatever it's going to be closest to... sounds like it's going to be a pretty sweet project... better yet... scrap the vg... just toss in a vh45 and turbocharge that... biatch..

2:30 in the morning and i finally got my exhaust hung the way i want it. i have a few more adjustments to make before its final because its sitting kinda crooked (i used a couple exhaust clamps for that reason)...

i will take pictures tomorrow...when i put the new gaskets in.
