As for VR4's... I want one someday... it's weird 'cus most of the peeps I talk to that have VR4's/3000GT's like Z's/Z32's and vice-versa! Kinda cool...

Quick question, whats the difference between the 2+2 and regular version of the 300?

2+2 has backseats...2+(2 extra seats). which makes it have a longer wheels base and a little heavier.

I bet the 300 has a similar backseat to the 3000GT, I've fit me (130lbs), my brother (350lbs) and my dad (280 or so) with my dad sprawlig in a kind of fetal position. Ohh and fit my ex girlfriend and her parents in with me for a lengthy 40 minute drive, to be fair she and her mother were both 5' on the nose so I think having my brother and dad was a bigger acomplishment.

I CAN'T WAIT! on my way home, i am picking up my wheels!!! i am going to put the tires on and balance them and then put them on my z thursday! i will take a pic tonight or tomorrow of them.

these wheels are my winter wheels. the main reason i got them is because i got them, plus tires, for $50. when i bought them, they were chrome, but the chrome was all peeling and everything. so i had them powdercoated. pretty damn nice for all of this only costing me $50, including tires.

One weird fuckin day

It was a reasonably shitty day at work, I didn't get more than a few hours sleep last night so I was falling asleep at my computer all morning. The phone was ringing like a mother****er, people wanting to know where their cabinets were (our sales guy makes alot of BS promises sometimes) and a bunch of telemarketers. Had a couple people walking in to look at door samples so I was doing the lame ass salesman shtich between getting yelled at on the phone. Had a crappy cup-o-soup for lunch. Anyway, finally get the hell out of there half an hour late and the whole drive home people are being ****in idiots. I can't get into the right lane and I miss my exit, so I had to take the long ass way home.

Once there, nothing to eat in the fridge because I didn't go to the store on Monday. Tried to work on this project I got going on but can't concentrate on anything so I just push it aside again...damn thing is never going to get done. Posted some wack shit on a couple of forums.

THEN, I thought my day had turned around when the UPS guy showed up with my wicked ass new laptop (3.2ghz, a gig of ram, 80 gig hard drive etc and so to the BADASS-ness). Popped her open and started loading XP when the screen just fucking died. Black, nothing. Tried rebooting a few times, nothing worked. Finally called tech support and got put on hold for fifteen minutes before being connected to some guy who called himself "Joe" even though he sounded more like "Hajira". That and with all the static on the line it sounded like he was calling from Jupiter or something. Dicks around asking me every possible question except what is wrong with the the fucking computer, puts me on hold again and finally either cuts me off or lost the connection. Either way I didn't bother to call back. At this point I'm too pissed to do anything constructive with the damn thing so I just hop in the 240 and start driving.

I got pulled over because my fucking passenger side mirror was folded in. What the hell? Cop fucked around with his little "Official Warning Citation" sheet before coming to terms with the fact that he didn't know what the fuck he was doing and just told me to check my car over before driving anywhere. Five minutes down the road I have to do a double foot brake stand to avoid rear ending a SUV that swerved in front of me to make an exit. Time to get off the fucking highway.

Except now I got this asshole with a bright yellow Lancer driving behind me. He must have added like five sets of fog lights. Stopped at a light I catch his eye in the side mirror and he gets this shit eating grin on his face then turns his brights on. He's glued to my ass for another couple of blocks before he turns into a AM/PM and dissappears behind the little shitty brick building. Something evil down inside made me turn into the side street and drive by. Saw him get of of the car, he had a stained ass AM/PM shirt on and some khakis so fucked up I swear he must have gone paint balling in them. This is not fucking kosher. A short battle of good and evil played itself out and suffice to say:

Good didn't win. I then proceeded to be stupid like I rarely ever have.

Parked on the curb and walked back behind the gas station. I wish I had a camera on me. Bright yellow, chrome rims, body kit with huge gaps in the panels, like 8 lights on the front, spoiler, stickers, shift knob, huge tach... disgusting. Quick look around and I planted my foot on the fuckers door, leaving a nice dent in the side. I turned to go and was surprised as hell when there was no alarm. All this crap on his car and he didn't spend $40 on a car alarm. More evil rose to the top. Ran back, got my car and one screw driver, a pry bar and five minutes later, I'm pulling away with ALL his fucking lights, clear tail lenses, side mirrors, front lip and just about everything else I could unscrew or pull off in the trunk watching his car settle to the ground as the last of the air drained from the tires. That was stupid. I admit that. But DAMN did it feel good. I tossed all the shit in a ditch like a mile away.

Anyway, driving the fifty some miles back home (I had gone all the way up to Bothell, what the hell is that?) I pass by the place that my Z had come to rest that terrible Sunday morning last May. Bad memories. Was about to pass by a parked car with its hazards on but the poor woman was standing out in the rain trying to flag someone down and no one was stopping. Anyway, pulled over and walked back, she starts talking a mile a minute about how the car had just died and she didn't know what was wrong. I tell her to get in and pop the hood and only realize then that I can't see shit because its like 10:00 by now. Walk back to my car for a few tools and a flashlight, get back to her car and she's got her head down on the steering wheel crying her eyes out, babbling about how she doesn't have the money for a tow truck. Got lucky and all it was was the lead plug off the distributor had come loose. Told her to trying starting it and it fired right up. I swear she looked at me like I was superman. Damn near knocked me over thanking me, apologizing like crazy because she didn't have any money on her. She did give me a candy bar, don't really know what that was about but I was hungry so I didn't argue.

ANYWAY, got back about half an hour ago, tried the laptop again but still got nothing. Now having wrote and read all that I think I'm going to sleep before a helicopter lands on the roof or something...

wow...that is one hell of a night there broke. you did a coupel of good things. like put that ricer in his place and then help that old woman. so...yeah. that sucks about your brand new laptop. good luck in the future. :D

broke... man that's freaking awesome.. sucks for the shitty day, but you :owned: that ricer bitch.... just hope there aren't any security camera's around :p... nice of you to stop for the lady... should have asked for sexual favors in replayment ;) maybe give the laptop a swift kick to the keyboard... if it doesn't fix it, it'll sure make you feel better... maybe there's a loose connection on the battery or something? that's way more exciting than my day... the highlight was driving around one of them new mustangs and an excursion... jesus christ those things are fucking HUGE.... i think the only word to really describe it would be epic.... anyway... it feels weird to have the ability to destroy a $72 000 vehicle with the turn of a hand... so much power :D

Ok, the company I work for charges on average $40 per wheel. That included a sandblast, and powdercoat. If the color you choose requires a clearcoat, then it will raise the price about $10 per wheel.

His wheels were done at, Rogers Mfg: Custom Powder Coating. They specialize in mostly industrial purposes, but have a small line meant for projects like wheels, and other small object. If you are in the Kansas City area, I recommend looking them up.

If you need to contact someone about powdercoating info, I would be more then happy to help. Here is some contact info.
