Speaking of traveling, I flew into Lubbock, Texas at six pm on Monday and pulled into the lot at four pm on Wednesday. 2320 miles in 48 hours FOR. THE. WIN.

Anyway I am now at the Marriot in Denver enjoying probably the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at (including the nh in Frankfurt) and the funny thing is that you guys are picking up the tab. :cool:

I think orbitz was the better price I found. Did Orbitz, Priceline, someother shit, Idon'tremember, ilikerum, IwannadrinkruminNYC, shit.

The Good: I'm in Denver, which has plenty of great bars and clubs. I have a great group of guys to go drinking with. It is St. Patty's day weekend so there is all sorts of drink specials going on. I don't have to fly out until Sunday afternoon.

The Bad: I'm 20.

And the Ugly: My 21st birthday is Monday.

At first I was like "whats your point?" about 3 seconds later I was liek "ohhhhhh..."

Unlucky buddy but I would just try and chance it. Rock up with your Id and stuff and just give it to them as though you actually ARE 21. A lot of it is how you carry yourself when you go in. Ive seen 16 year old chicks walk right through the door of a pub back home and not even bat an eyelid.

It's always odd and amusing how you'll be looking for a good time and thinking that means a given thing (going out drinking and clubing in this case) and end up having a much better time doing something else that was actually what you were looking for in the first place.

Since all of us here have some fairly intense stuff to do Sunday morning, no one was really interested in going into downtown to a club. Thus we went to dinner at Teds Montana grill (same place I ate last night, which at first was somewhat dissappointing to me as I was looking for a different experience) and came back to the hotel. Did a bit of studying with the guy I'm here with and then went back to my room. Figured the night was shot but I wandered down to the hotel bar, probably could have gotten all the beer I wanted since they weren't carding, but instead started talking to this woman who was there. Over the next few hours I had one of the more enlightening and enjoyable conversations in my life. It was by far a better experience then what I was looking for.

Life is odd but it is truly good.

Well what are you trying to figure out? If you're going for a stock look then just about everything is either stamped steel thats been undercoated or hasn't been.

don't ask why but my friend and I have been argueing as to whether or not you could fit a cummins turbo diesel in a z32 chasis (2+2 or 2+0). I say it's possible, but you won't have very much room to work with, and he says it'll fit in pretty nice... what's your guys thoughts on this???

If you're talking about the 5.9 liter inline six you find in the Dodge 2500 and 3500 then you should be able to, they're not that big of a motor. Might be kind of tight though.

And before anyone gets to thinking thats crazy, remember that Audi is fielding a diesel powered R10 chassis in the prototype class at Le Mans this year.

In other engine news, Bruce Crower of Crower Cams has patented the worlds first six stroke engine. It's uses the same timeline as a four stroke motor but after the gas is burned and the piston rises to push the exhaust out, both valves close and water is injected into the cylinder. The water is flash boiled into steam and pushes the piston down again. Crower future six stroke engines to cut fuel consumption by 40%. Also since the water will cool the cylinder future engines may not need an external cooling system (aka the radiator).

Finally got my internet in the new place. Cable dude hooked me UP! He only charged me 20 bucks for the install as opposed to the usual 50 or 100.
