I wouldn't mind one in the Z when I start dragging... but I'm trying to lose weight not gain it! Besides my three point harness can bolt into the rear seat-belt mounting point that is level with my shoulders and I doubt I will ever see past 10 second runs in tis particular car anyway.

George...i dont think us having t-tops is going to benefit the install of a roll cage. the cabin area is cramped and finding a place to bolt it in would be the hard part. because in the Z32, it is hard to find a place where there isnt something already. nobody can ever say that Nissan can not utilize space because they sure as hell can shove a broom handle up a dog's a**. :rofl:

BTW: i can't break on the TT swap now. i wont finish before winter. "Need to finish car, must work on car after 4 hours of sleep."

i played soccer competitively from 5-14?...i stopped liking it about 14 so i quit and went out for football in high school. didnt care for the way they did things...wanted to be a linebacker but the coach never gave me a chance to play there so he couldnt see how good i was. i played baseball up until junior year when i quite because we got a new coach that i was already on bad terms, needless to say, things never got better. it didnt turn out to good, i ended up quiting about a week into practice with my "cup" across the coaches forehead. :lol:

i have been playing soccer since i was 4. i could never really catch a ball or throw a ball, but i can kick a ball really good, so soccer was the sport i always played an i am really good at it now.

I played soccor when I was a reeeeeeeeally little kid...once...lol...quit after my first game. Always been a baseball guy myself. I like playing football, too, but I never played anything in highschool or anything like that.

The problem with cranking up the resolution really high on a small monitor is that you'll need a magnifying glass to see everything...get a bigger monitor AND turn the resolution up to 1024x768 and you'll be in business. That's what I did. I don't know how big the monitor is on my laptop, but it works just fine. I also have a program on here that cycles the wallpaper among pics in a file that I've saved over time from the net. Pics of engines, turbos, cars, little art (H.R. Giger and Escher...good shit) and any other pics I see that are funny. Right now, there's a pic of a black Koenigsegg and in 10 min or so, it'll change to something else. I also have a program that makes all the desktop icons disappear...keep links for all the stuff I use on the quick launch bar along the top of the screen.

... I don't know. I definately heard VTEC kick in at the correct time. Listen, right at 5,100RPM, the pitch changes.

I think it's a Honda/Acura of some sort... My buddies B20/VTEC revs deep into 12,000RPM, so I wouldn't doubt it.

holy shit dude, i'm damn near 100% sure that that's a 98 or newer acura 1.6 el... my dad has one and everything looks EXACTLY the same (aside from the boost meter and momo steering wheel...) altho.. the redline is higher i think.. but that definitely is of acura make...

as for those guages... you get what you pay for... if they're cheap and are a no-name brand.. chances are they a. won't fit, and b. will suck if you do get them to work... usually, unless others have had a very good experience with something no-name from ebay, it's a good idea to stray away from it, as it's most likely a knock off pos thing that does about half (if you're lucky) of what it's actually supposed to do... even with name brand stuff you have to be careful from non-ebay store sellers... i'd say spend the extra money and get something that will work well for a long time

i don't mind the look of the actual guage.. but the blue light-up is kind of cheesy... and a/f guages are usually crap unless you've just replaced your o2 sensor with the correct wide-band o2 sensor... (aem sells a good kit... for about half the price of their engine management system... kick in the balls and a half for the price.. but if you're THAT worried about it, be my guest :p)

just get different gauges...i bet those work just as good as the Z32 oil pressure gauge (they don't).

autometer makes a set that are affordable...

Go out and get some good gauges, man...don't be cheap unless you just want something temporary to hold you over until you can get something good.

Depends on how far I can talk this guy down. Anyway, it's a 2000 Honda Civic Si.

8.5:1CR JE Pistons, with Eagle Rods, Endyn Crankshaft, ACL Bearings, full BBS. T3/T4 Turbocharger, Type 32V Intercooler, GReddy Type-S. It is capable of over 25psi on that bottom end, right now he's only running 7psi. It has no Fuel Management at all, I'm surprised it's not cutting Fuel like Hell. Stock Injectors as well... I can't believe how strong it's running considering what it's missing. It also has the ACT Extreme 6-Puck Clutch (Yeah... That's not a harsh engagement :rolleyes: ), Clutch Masters 8.5lb Flywheel, B@M Short Shifter.

Not to mention the JL Audio sound system... Pfff, I'll sell that Shit on Ebay real Damn fast. I hate bumping systems.

I'll have to throw a Grand or so into it to have it running 25psi. AEBS Intake Manifold, RC Engineering 550cc Injectors, CTR Camshafts, ARP Headstuds, KRB Fabrication Ramhorn Turbocharger Manifold with 3" Downpipe, Missing Link MAP Adapter, OBDII-OBDI Conversion Harness, P28 ECU, $350 in dyno tuning.

And she'll be running deep into the 11 Second passes. A bit later down the line, GT35R Turbocharger, Fully Built Head, have LSD installed with a Type-R 4.8FD... Tune it to 30psi, get some bad Ass Hoosier slicks, and she'll be into the 10 Second passes in no time.

The guy wants $8,500... So for just a shade over $10,000, I can have one of the fastest Si Civics around. And resell it for close to $15,000.

I don't know, we'll see.
