Anyways... I just took my fathers 2005 VolksWagon Touareg V8 out... Wow, very impressive for such a large vehicle.

But seeming as it is based on the same Chassis as the Porsche Cayenne, it is amazing. It has air ride suspension, 310BHP, locking differential AWD, leather... Awesome car.

Anyways, he's always trying to get me to take it out, and I refuse to (dont want to take a chance at wrecking a $50,000+ car) everytime. But this time I said 'What the Hell...' And went to town :evillol:

Anyways... We've started a project, that will seriously, blow your guys minds. I'll post details when I have a physical progression to show for.

saving here, working here, installing stereos here and there...well reguardless i came up with $1500 over the winter months without a job and i just got a job making about $300 a week, so yeah im living it up for a 18 year old right now, but it will change when i head back to school and my luck runs low. anywho, out of that $1500 i gathered plus about $250 for christmas from relatives. i have about $600 left after i bought a new trans for the Z31 ($250), miscallaneous Z31 stuff ($100), Z32 5-speed swap ($800), and Z32 intercoolers ($125). ehh...only a few more grand and i will reach my April of 2005 goal!!! 350whp Twin-Turbocharged 2+2 Z32 with a nice set of 18" wheels on the side. :evillol:

anyways, with the new income i have my goal well within reach not including the money from selling the N/A motor and trans, my very first car that is going back up for sale after one of my Z's are well running, and the Z31 sales money when spring rolls around. but the money from the Z31 when i sell it will probably be going towards a nice downpayment on a newish car.

We've decided to take on the ultimate project...

... Thats right... We're going to build our own car.

Or planning on it, if we ever get around to it, is anybodies guess. But the jist of the project is that the car will have a full tubular chassis. Fiber Glass body panels... Powertrain, we're going to worry about when the time comes.

But the thoughts that have crossed our minds are 13B Single Turbo, VG30DETT, and RB25DET. All would do great... But kind of expensive.

Anyways, we're going to start working on the chassis now, and see where it takes us. I had the bright idea of making the chassis to fit into a Zed32's or Skyline's skin. But the body panels would be Hellish to make...

Anyways, we'll probably never get around to it, but its just a thought.

um...no, i dont think so. i had it shipped to the body shop so im not exactly sure but i really dont think so. i ordered mine from ultimatez and im pretty sure it just had the fascia and smoked corners...i actually have to take mine back to the body shop because they are a bunch of pricks that cant do a half decent paint job but my insurance company 'recommends' them, so basically i have to take my car there. but i dont have that insurance company anymore, thank goodness. anyways, the paint is chipping at some of the angles on the fascia so i am going to have them repaint it and leave it off so i can install the new intercoolers before they put it back on. :)


BTW: sounds good fellas...well i think broke and wes's ideas are a little sketchy but yeah, whatever ya wanna do. :lol:

here is the B&B exhaust...they come in a variety. i have never seen the dual quad tips, that might looks sweet...i like the sebring exhausts that specialtyZ carries too, but i like the B&B better because the tips enormous. ill try to find better pics...

Yeah... I was actually thinking of getting the Sebring/Labree sysytem... but once again: CARB! Plus I heard they are loud as crap!

we have this mexican restaurant here called "Taco Del Norte"...everytime i drive by i have to get a Chiles Rellanos Dinner...it is so good. i think thats what its called....its basically a stuffed pepper with some corn shells and rice on the side. mix it all up and top it with some green mild sauce. can you say GREAT?!?!?!

anyways, do it, 1viadrift was gonna swap in a RB25DET a while ago but he has changed his minds about 5 different times now...

if i were to choose, i would do the single turbo or the RB...personally i would end up doing the single turbo out of those just because RB parts are hard to find when something breaks and once you find it, you have to wait a few months to get it. and you can do a single turbo conversion on limited funds...

how about this??? rig up the custom manifolds into a single turbo, through a used larger intercooler and back into your upper plenum. get a boost controller and ECU upgrade and run about 5psi. then when you get mkore cash flow, swap in a TT motor or rebuild your N/A with a lower compression...thata what i would do if i wanted to be a little different.

I've seen them in Japanese mags... no links...
