Well I just cant help but notice that Jared is only 400 some odd posts under you...
Yea Jorge this place a good way to kill time... At school, Im on a computer every class, so I typically post on here when Im done with my assignments.
Funny story:
There are a group of ricers that have quite possibly the slowest cars in town, with the most body modifications in town as well. Anyways, these guys think its cool to take shoe polish and put fake race track numbers on their cars.
So the 1994 Cavalier is running 13.4... Ok.
The 1992 Integra is running a 12.5... Ok
And the 1984 Accord is running a 13.9... What in the 8th?
They think because they write this stuff on their car, it has to make them faster...
Also another dead give away is they write the track numbers on the wrong side of the windshield... The numbers are always written on the passenger side, so you can see the Christmas Tree...
Anyways, the Integra comes up behind me today, riding my ass hard. So I slow down, and he flies up next to me and yells 'Roll dawg?'
I give him the 'cut it' motion... And crank up the Death Metal.
He eventually gets bored with looking at my stock Civic, and drops down and pulls out ahead... My guess would be he hit about 85 or so (in a 55MPH zone... Smart) and then he lets off and comes back neck in neck with me... I guess expecting me to look over in awe.
The he gets bored and goes to turn off... I look in my rear view, and as hes turning off... Red and Blues start flashing
Damn ricers... Get what they deserve.

O and Albert... Its not hard to learn, I taught myself without any help, or tutorials or anything.
Its pretty simple to use, once you get the hang of it, and learn what each tool does. But other Adobe programs are difficult, like Premiere for example... Im just now getting the hang of it, and I've had it for years.

Best way to learn Photoshop is just to play around with it, like most programs. If you can use a web browser (and I assume you can unless you have someone else posting for you) then you can learn Photoshop.
Anyway, on a completely non-relevant topic, MP3 players kickass. And even though a single AAA battery puts out 8-10 hours worth of music I still managed to go through half a pack in a few days. But I got a wicked deal on some rechargable ones, charger and 8 batteries for $25. Funny because it was on the shelf right next to a 4 set of batteries with no charger for $20.
Everybody want to see me throw fireball?
Thats not right.

Not much to do today
Crank out getting polished so it will be another few weeks before I get the block and heads back.
Pretty much have all the parts I'm going to be using off the old engine ready to go.
So without much else to do, I "installed" my new floormats.

broke, i have a favor...will you measure the diameter and width of your flywheel and clutch??? i think the n/a flywheel and TT flywheel and clutch were different sizes...or different widths. i want to make sure the clutch and flywheel this guy sent me is for the TT and not the N/A, which would mean it is the TT trans and not the N/A trans 9 times out of 10. just want to double check...if you get a chance, it would be greaty appreciated. :D

They are different sizes and I could give you the exact specs...but my book is up in Seattle, guy rebuilding my engine needed it. Anyway, a quick measurement, 12" flywheel from exterior side to exterior side (not including the ring gear). The disc is 10" wide.
And my previous post up there was not completely true, I stuffed my ECU back in while I was at it.

A factory service manual is a basic requirement of car ownership.
If you are planning on doing the TT swap without it then you get the "I shot myself in the foot and fucked up my car while spending thousands of dollars to make it faster because I was too cheap to buy the instruction manual" award.

well the 'J' and 'Q' model silvia weighs 2400 pounds
J and Q are the non turbo models
'k' model is 2470 pounds

add 45 pounds if the car has HIACS
its a pretty damm light car.

The total weight of a VH45DE with all Accessorys is only 510lbs., now if I'm not mistaken the Civic weighs more than that.
D, are you remember the VW bug? I've seen a Bug with a 454 big block stuffed in the front of one of them.

well that wasn't too bad at all... took me like 2 hours with breaks and stuff... but it looks like someone thought sandblasting meant pouring sand on the engine then spraying it with water or something... because damn these sparkies were covered in sand... what really worries me is that it was on the actual threads, which means it probably got into the engine at one point in time or another...
