Yea, I geuss you make a good point. I really don't like the thought of putting a chevy engine in a z car, becuase when someone does it, it's kinda like an insult to Nissan. I could understand an engine swap in a 240z from a performance standpoint, but I mean the VG30DE isn't a bad engine to work with at all, but I do see your point.

Ha...I've had that movie as part of my very small, exclusive collection for years now. I hold it in the same catagory as Kids, cuz it's also a fucked up monve and Pi, which is directed by the same director as Requiem, Darren Aronofsky. Ever happen to read the book, "requiem by Hubert Selby, Jr? It's fucking NUTS...there's NO punctuation in it!!! It's all one long sentence!!! All it had was slashes! I think they re-wrote the book since then or something cuz I was looking at the book on amazon.com and it was just a normal book. I had/have no idea who this guy is, but he can tear the piss out of a guitar. The fact that he plays the big brother to the Parker I have is kinda cool, too. I love that riff he starts playing in the second position at ~2:50 into that vid...despite the goofy faces he's making and stuff. His drummer's not bad, either.

I wish I could remember the dude my buddy showed me back in the day. He was playing an 8 string guitar or something like that and playing scales faster than the camera could record...his hand was literally a blur and it was a pretty high quality video...insane.

There are some amazing musicians out there that no one knows about and this is a damn shame. Instead we have umpteen pretty faces and dime-a-dozen vocalists that posess no, or little at best, real talent and people love them. Toronto btw, is pretty shit compared to the other places I have been so far. Its just another city. Pretty boring really. The other day I did go to Niagra Falls. This place is pretty impressive I have to say. It wasnt as pretty as it could have been given that it is in winter and all the plants are dead but its still pretty nice. And if you every get the chance, try some icewine. Its good shit.

We are in Montreal for another 5ish days and then we looking at heading down to New York for a bit. We werent originally going down to NY but we figured, when the hell else are we going to be over this side of the world.
