or long road trips which we seem to do a lot of. on the last trip it was noted you have to do the hill part of the trip in 5th. the rest of the trip is flat. it's easy to forget to put it back into 6th.

i will say this. filled the 18gal tank and made the 360mi trip with 1/3 tank left when we got there. Legend = 30+mi per gal

There's a guy in tallahassee with a silver A6 that has chromes one the left side and black/chrome on the right so it looks like 2 different cars when you only see one side in traffic

SiZ did that. He had bronze on one side and black on the other of his hatch.

I was gonna get my rims resurfaced and painted black/blue to match my car when I was at school but I lacked the $250 to do so. Now I got the $250 but I'm not in tally anymore :(

i try to keep a set of crap stockies with studded tires for winter, a set of upgraded stockies that look good for long distance travel, and a nice set of rims for around town/car shows...then again we also keep stock hoods for the winter and travel. then go to the trouble to put on the CF for summer/car shows.

yes i'm aware normal people would buy seperate rigs for different seasons and i instead micro manage all my vehicles in an o.c.d. manor so they can be driven whenever and not trashed on too hard :screwy:

I'm so f***ing pissed off right now. I went out front to smoke a cigarette (can't smoke in the house anymore), and decided to check on my car. It's been sitting for a about a months now in my front yard, and I haven't bothered looking at it. My parent's old dodge caravan is right next to it, like 3 inches away on the rear because we had to push my car into the yard. So I was lightly smacking the rear passenger side wheel well (the corner closest to the van and the one with all the rust). Next thing I know it feels like something bit my arm. We have all these little spider webs all over the yard, so I figured some kind of spider bit me...but I was wrong. I look up to see what bit me and I see 2 bees flying around me. Obviously I bolted out of there, as I remembered seeing bees building a nest in the rear hatch of the van. At that point my arm was burning like crazy, and I realize I got stung by 2 freaking bees at the exact same time!!! I haven't been stung by a frigging bee since I was a little kid, but some how I managed to get stung by 2 at once. I'm so pissed off right now, but I'm also glad I'm not allergic like my brother is, or I'd be on my way to the hospital right now. But you can guaren-damn-tee I'm going to get my can of bee spray out tomorrow and kill every single one of those motherf***ers.

CivicSpoon

Actually I do feel a little better venting about it. I have the can of hornet and wasp spray all set, sitting by the door (I know it's sitting there because it hasn't walked away yet...buh dum bum psh). On the side of the can it says to use it at dusk, because that's when they'll be resting. So I'll probably do it in a few minutes instead of tomorrow.

Update: Muhahaha those bastards definently regret the day they screwed with The Spoon Man. The can I have shoots up to 20FT, so I was able to get the nest they started building in the cracks of our gutters. When I sprayed it, the stuff dripped into a nice puddle on the driveway below. So when they started dropping down from the nest, they dropped right into the puddle. I stomped the one that missed the puddle, because I didn't want it to suffer too much.

Didn't I just mention that I was stung by a f-ing hornet a couple of weeks ago while cutting the grass around the neighbor's bushes (not the lazy landscaper neighbor that cuts his grass once a season... haha... the other side). The thing stung my shoulder and it was all red for about a week. I'll be damned if I bother cutting that grass anymore. I'm thinking privacy fencing on both sides of our property all the way to the curb...

When I was young, my buddy from around the corner decided to throw a big rock into the hornets nest residing in our front yard. The next 2 minutes consisted of him flailing around running from the swarm that promptly attacked him and me laughing hysterically from the porch... ahh the good ol days

foosh- naw i haven't had that much time, lately me and the wife have been trying to spend more time together. just 'cause we hit our 2 year anniversary on the 21st of july. and we realized we needed to start spending more time together. but it's cool we have a schedule or whatever worked out so i kinda get all day saturday to myself.

well then GTA, you should buy the ITR...what a conincidence! it has a c5! :pimp:

get 'em spoon man! i'm really allergic so i have no love for bees. we're batteling mosquitos here. everything is so over grown from the previous owners letting it go that it's turned into a bug haven. the more i cut down the better it seems to get. oh yea, and the birds
:angryfire :banghead: :swear:
it doesn't matter where you park. the car is going to get hit multiple times every day. i have never had such an urge to kill bird. i'm hoping by removing the 1 tree and cutting back the other out front that they'll move on to the trees in the back along the street (no harm done there) OR find a whole different location with trees from my house.

i don't think i want an AT Legend. at this point if the car is sold then i'll be after something completely different, like always.

so the wife and i were argueing about wedding colors last night. (yeah we got married in a courthouse) so she wants some type of green, and then she asked for my opinion and i told her that if she wants green then she should go with a honda championship white, and don't stop there make the green a tein green. lol needless to say she thought i wasn't taking her seriously. but i will have my championship white! wuhahahaha

I used to work at a tux rental shop and the wives were inc harge of all color decision 99% of the time. They would let their hubby-to-be look around and pick out colors but when it came to putting the registration down on paper they began to veto colors one by one until their color of choice was the only survivor. Sometimes the wife would come in solo and look at colors that their husband and his party would be forced to wear later.

well, it is a theft recovery where they stole everything down to the brakelines and clipped all the wires. so jer got all that taken care of, turned key and it started with no check engine light. everything works again. i would call it mach-up stage. now it's in the process of being pulled back apart (brakelines and all) to build from the ground up Down To Ground style :naughty:

Did anybody watch "Fine Tuned" last night on Speed? They built a 6th gen Civic from the ground up with a B20b/vtec with mostly Skunk 2 parts for everything. It was white with cf hood and trunk, pioneer system, sweet multi-piece rims (like 15") jdm style? I thought it was a nice car minus the ricey red stripes on the door panels courtesy of the Asian upholstery/seemstress ladies and all the f&f style stickers on the fenders and side skirts.

I also water my garden in the evening. I use spray Skin So Soft bug spray. I wiped some on my hands the other night and wiped my face. I ended up with 3 huge welts on the only places that I guess I missed... my neck, and near both side burns. Bastards! Last night I wiped more all over my face and you can see the little bitches buzzing around but not getting too close.

Ami, use some 1% hydrocortisone or the 2% stuff made out of benadryl. The generics work just as well as name brands...
