I don't know what the hell is wrong with me lately. Friday or Saturday I suddenly felt really dizzy and had to lay down. Once I felt better, I'd get up and I was still a little wobbly for the rest of the night. I just figured I had high blood sugar; I drank a mountain dew and munched on a bunch of candy. But today I had the same thing happen again. I figured I was fine, up until about 20 minutes ago it came back. But now I've got a damn headache too and the side of my neck hurts a little. Freaking sucks, but I guess it's better that it happened at night, so I can just go to bed.

Last time I had the sweet chiba was at my grad party on the 3rd. I hadn't realized til today it had been so long. I'm still not 100% confident I won't be tested as I start the new job tho. Beer usually has to do double duty when I'm off the green stuff

yeah, I usually smoke every day. I tried drinking beer instead, but then I drank it all and haven't gotten any more. Freaking sucks, but I'll get some more "stuff" in a few weeks when it's done doing it's thing.

Post Deleted on Craigs List ^^

My sister has an 06 Hyundai Tiburon GT with the 2.7 dohc v6 5-speed. I got to drive it last night. And even though the pavement was wet I got to get on it some because I was familiar with the area. It's definitely got some power but the gearing is wrong. The gears seem too long so the power doesn't get used right. It just felt off. This was just my first impression though. I'm not exactly used to a tight hydrolic clutch. I could let out the clutch so far before even having to give it gas to go. It seemed like a waste of foot travel. The car sounded good though. A Cobalt SS/SC was next to us but I didn't play with it because of the conditions and it wasn't my car. I told my sister that the Tib would lose and she said "no way"... The Tib has 172hp which is about 30-40 shy of the SS/SC. She asked me how I knew that and I said "the Internetz is my friend" All in all, it's a nice car, looks nice too (white with tan leather seats) but just not my cup of tea...

Schwag Master in the house...

Car has full body kit, z3 fenders, new brakes, new cv axles, new spark plugs and wires, motor is a 97 1.6 si with only 30,000 miles completely reworked with racing gaskets applied. Comes with matching sparco racing harnesses, integra interior no backseat, needs new windshield and fresh paint.Clean title. Car is well worth more, price is firm.

i've got another pair of good seats that came with it...

Because the hood didn't (or doesn't) latch properly, and flew up while you or someone else was driving. And when it flew up, it bent the pointed corners (part attached to hinges) of the hood, as well as smashed into the windshield?

The reason I'm guessing this is because I've seen it happen twice before.

BLU CIVIC
08-31-2007, 02:29 PM
yup...happened to the guy at work 3 times...i think someone's out to get him

I got a friend who bought a car from a guy (idiot) who said the alternator wasn't working so he hooked up a porta-charger to the battery and took her and her dad for a test drive with the charger under the hood. So naturally while they drove the hood flew up (but managed not to smack the windshield)

And yes, the beginning of that story was bought a car :disappoin

So my friend who has a new 07 mazda 3 (bout 8 months old) hit a brick on the road and managed to mangle the ac compressor , the bumper..and now its leaking oil, the block may possibly be cracked. So its sitting at the dealership probably till after labor day to find out. The insurance company hasnt contacted him but I didnt waste any time at directing him to a honda dealership nearby the mazda place. He test drove an s2000 (just cause'), a base..base..BASE fit (only one on the lot with a 5spd) and then an 07 SI. SO.. long story short Ive turned him over to the dark side, hes in love with the SI even though he considered himself a mazda "dude" hes always been jealous of hondas capability to make fast cars and power for cheap. If they total his car hes likely gonna take the check and go buy the SI.

He came back from the s2000 drooling (as I knew he would) saying the mazda guys were idiots for saying that vtec was a marketing gimmick. The fit was a joke with 0 power..but it has its purpose. Riding in it reminded me of a commercial isuzu npr truck, with the bench style dashboard. I didnt like it too much. The SI was comfy, sounded great, vtec kicked nice and hard, I loved the shift light, and it was all around a great fun car. and sexy.

We probably would never have gotten anywhere NEAR the SI much less the s2000 if we hadnt rolled up in his mothers 05' Black on black Roush mustang convertible.... lol

He says that the s2000 has the best shifter hes ever used, and the SI was very close and better than his mazda 3 hatch with a short shifter. I just had a big grin on my face, another convert :)

w00t! it feels good to be home!!! went back down to the bay mid aug. came home 4-5 days then packed up to go down to L.A. for 7 days. came home for 1 day to do laundry and then we had to go to reno to fix his bro's 4g. in the 6 weeks we've owned the Legend we've done 4,500+ roadtrip miles :screwy:

his brother's tahitian green si (on DownToGround.net) started knocking. he parked it behind his friend's dad's shop until we could get over there. somebody busted out his hatch window. they stole his koyo radiator, spark plug wires, stereo, amp, laptop, and tools. it could have been SO MUCH WORSE. they left his racing seats, auto meter gauges, steering wheel, skunk2 intake mani & tb, skunk2 1 piece coilover/struts, skunk2 cat-back exhaust, Hasport mounts & linkage, cross drilled rotors, rear disc brakes, integra armrest/console....we built him the perfect si from the ground up. i am so happy they took the few things they took and not the whole car!!!

jer threw a b20 in since his brother had been complaining about a knock from below. now he needs to have his old b16 head inspected :naughty:
