Seriously OT: The Real 3rd Thready...

I've had sprint for 5 years now. As much as I hate them sometimes, they've managed to keep me from switching.

One time I called super pissed, threatening to cancel my plan and they gave out all kinds of discounts to keep me. The best part was that my argument was all based on lies :)

I can't stand when someone owes you $, and they dodge your phone calls, tell you they'll pay at a certain time and then don't follow through. I sold my clutch to a friend of a friend last week and I was supposed to get the $ on Friday. Friday came and went, saturday came and went, then sunday came and I called him. He said something about having to pay at the dmv, and that I would get the $ today. Surprise, surprise... NO $$$. If I don't hear from him tonight I'm going to blow up his phone all day tomorrow until he picks up. Then I'll either get the $ or I'm going to ask for the clutch back. If that fails, I know where he parks his RHD glasstop crx; so I'll have some parts for sale on here :D

I know that feeling. I sold my 95 240 for $1k, guy paid $300 up front, said he was in the military and had to go out to training, when he got back he would pay the rest. Well he came back, was supposed to pay me like everyday, but never did, and then all of a sudden he is gone until Christmas now and I have to deal with his cousin who is dodgy from what I got from some friends, and I don't know where the damn car is. And his cousin is supposed to pay sometime this week....I kinda doubt it.

You guys don't have any receipts or written agreements via email? You could take em to small claims court. If you're in Chicago or New York areas you could take em to one of the million Judge (insert name here) shows they have.

Anybody know anything about script writing? I'm seriously considering testing my writing skills and trying to put together a movie script, but I don't really know where to start. My uncle is a producer on a tv show, but I don't really wanna bother him cuz I don't want it to seem like I'm fishing for him to do all my work for me... that's why I have you guys :p

Script writing is the easiest forms of writing. That's why I used the script format to write my "creative" thesis for my Masters Degree. Haha. I used some low name software that you load the cd every time you want to write. It kind of sucks that you can only read it with the cd installed but that's why they invented printers. Be advised though that scripts can get long fast because the dialogue is usually trite and the narrative is minimal and there is a lot of white paper in between...

I guess I have a lil more prep work to do, but I decided this is somethin I really wanna do. My friend told me she thinks I'm wasting my time in school. I tend to agree. I have the capability to do very well in school, but I tend to zone out in lectures. I think my brain is more geared for creative things whether it be modding my Accord or creative writing. I enjoy both immensely, but modding the accordion costs $$$ that I ain't got yet

That is wrong. Stay in school...

The average script is 90 pages to reflect a page per minute of screen time. My thesis script was 125 pages to reflect a somewhat more dialectical content (had to actually explain something regarding literature... it's a script about writing a script and getting it made into a movie... like Project Greenlight), more narrative/scene descriptions and some end credits or how they roll with what music etc. (which is usually the director's choice).

I just got verizon fios the other day, took them 4 1/2 hours to install (run fiberoptic line from the pole to the house, then a line from the box outside to our modem area. My family swears it's a lot faster, but I can only tell a little bit of a difference. But it does suck now when I'm playing Socom 3 against slow people, shoot at them and they're lagging like crazy (not talking about them using a lag switch or the standby button either; though they do). Any one else play Socom 3, or the new Combined Assault?
The new patch for S3, that makes it compatible with CA, really blows. Invisible vehicles after they get blown up the first time. Sucks when you're getting spawn camped by some guy in an invisible tank and he keeps blowing you up over and over again. New green diamond over teammates is pretty cool though, still doesn't do any good when they're right next to you though.

I'm at my mom's house using this AT&T madness. Its so quirky sometimes. Drives me insane... more insane that usual.
