Yeah, I'm into all sorts of differnt things. I went and looked at a truck yesterday I might buy. 69 chevy short bed with a 396 and 4 speed. The body is strait, but its got alot of rust and someone rattle caned it. But for 800 bucks...

It sounded great until the rust and rattle can part. If the rattle can was primer/enamel that's one thing but... I hate rust. This past weekend was once again monopolized by me having to do body work cuz I found 3 substantial holes in my trunk space whereby I could see daylight under the car. I used sheet metal and bondo and fixed it up though. Looks decent with the grey primer too...

yeah, I'm not real worried about how it looks though, just need a truck. the floor of the bed if plywood :)

ITR wheels wont fit the Accord though :P... that's not a bad deal... that's about what I paid all in all for my 91 H22 Accord several years ago........ damn that was such a good car.. oh so fast too! I'd say go for it if the body and interior are in decent condition....

93 Accord Coupe with H22 is really a nice car and I'd really like to have one. ITR wheels won't fit but you can sell them and get some money back or just offer him less and tell him to sell the wheels himself.

That Celica is nice. I can almost remember the days when those cars were more common to see on the road. Of course, they never looked like that... lowered, turboed, intercooler, etc. Sweet!

I went and saw Jarhead last night. Good movie, but the photography was the best I'v seen in a long time, stunning in some parts. Dont go expecting a war movie though.

i went to Brands Hatch race circuit today to see the truck racing, it was amazing. its incredible the feeling through the ground as 20,000bhp rumbles past at 100mph (i kid you not) these are one thousand bhp turbo-charged beasts, topping out at 100mph (safety reasons) and weighing in at 5 tons. they'll outrun most performance cars on the road.

it was great, straight through exhausts make a hell of a lot of noise and with two going past at once making a combined 6,000lb/ft of torque (around that i guess) its amazing...

i got some pics, there was a procession of lots of trucks doing two or three laps of the circuit.

two incidents, one truck lost it and spun off onto the grass, he recovered an kept going, and one big shunt, two trucks collided somehow, leaving one in the gravel with minimal damage and the other spun off.

all in all a great day, i'll post a couple pics later if anyone wants to see them....

Isn't that a contradiction? I mean they'd probably be able to get from 0-100mph faster. But if they top out at 100mph, then most cars on the road could out run them. *Sorry, had to be a smartass*

yes, in all fairness you're right. you have to understand there are limits though. that said the worlds fastest truck, built by a company called Joint Ventures hit something in the region of 225mph.

the trucks i talked about before are proven to outaccelerate a porsche 911 to 100mph.
