Apparently "nation wide shortage" also means "we jack the price up as much as we want". Head gasket set will be here monday, rod/main bearings tuesday, valve stem seals wednessday, rings thursday. Still have an alternater bracket to make, and shims to make for the pullys so they all align now sence the crank pully is from a differnt car, in order for the crank position sensor to work (which I still have to make the bracket for). Then there is still the whole mess of intake plumbing from the throttle body to the MAF/IAT. Maby I can shoe horn it all in without ripping the rubber.

as for the cruise ship just about the only one that sails under the American Flag is Norwiegin Cruise line. The problem with that is there are lots of problems to be had with labour laws under the non-us ships. and they will pay you like 2 bucks an hour. Mean while you work 15 hour days for 3 weeks straight and then have like week off.
Also for NWC you have to sign a two year contract of sorts, I was looking into at one point, as they sail out of here in miami, as well as Hawaii.

I go to kinkos mail center to attempt to send back some LED bulbs I bought online. They're no bigger than a quarter combined.
I ask the guy for a small padded envelope. He gives me a super sized non-padded envelope.
I show him the two bulbs I'm sending and again ask for a small padded envelope. He leads me to a stack of small envelopes, but again of the non-padded variety.
One last time I request a small padded envelope and he leads me to what seems to be the largest padded envelope known to man. I seriously coulda mailed myself in that thing. I then see an envelope much more appropriate for my needs and grab it. He asks will I have enough room. :chair:
If someone could please refer me to a low priced assassin, I would greatly appreciate it. That man needs to be removed from this earth asap.

Well I'll need him again when you're done. I just went to Dunkin Donuts and asked for a Boston Creme and a Lemon donut. I get home and bite into my Boston Creme to dicover it was 75% creme-less. It was basically just a hollow chocolate topped donut. I wanted to take it back, but it really wasn't worth the $0.86
