All sema requires is a buisiness license or tax number.
Its not really anything impressive to go to unless your accually looking to setup suppliers and check out their new products.

You have to apply online on there site. The Vegas show is only open to businesses. Thats why I wanted to go I have been to 3-4 other SEMAs but the Vegas one blows any show I have ever been to away.
I sent in an application with a business card and my business license.
Very easy to do.

I have an eye lash stuck flat to the corner of my eye. By flat I mean that neither end is sticking up for me to grab onto and pull it off. So now my eye is bleeding and stings like crazy. Guess it could be worse, i could have a contect lense stuck to my eye again (I kept with my glasses after that).

But yea I wont be visitnig Vegas anytime soon. I went to SEMA last year and had a blast but doing that ever year for someone who isnt in the automotive field its hard. 2-3 years we will go back to Vegas and SEMA when we can afford not to stay in the Stratosphere again...yuck

Only if I want to see :p I only had contacts for a day, and it took me 2 hours to get them off my eye. I had to have my mom stick her finger in my eye and take them off for me. It was really bad, had blood dripping down under my eyes.
Oh yeah, walmart has divx dvd players... the one I baught earlier is divx compatable.
I found the program that I need...kind of. It's called TMPGEnc, but there are like 4 or 5 different versions that I saw (Xpress 3, 5in1, Studio 1, Software Suite 2005, All in One). And everytime I do a google search to find out info on them to see which one I need, all I get are torrent links with no valuable info. Guess I'm going to have to find out the hard way (I'll obviously start with the all in one and 5 in 1).

I'd have to find a way to get some cables that will plug into my sound card and into the rca connections on the back of the HT unit. And I've pretty sure my sound card only has those headphone jack looking connections (but there are quite a few I know I'm not using). When I had the $ I should have bought a better sound card, then I could have recorded my drums onto my computer too.

I finally got a response from Sony about my dvd burner not working:
"As the drive test will not see the blank disc to run your drive needs to
be replaced. Your Product is no longer covered for the limited technical
support warranty. After 90 days from the date of your first call to
technical support, the cost of technical support is $19.95 and applies to each solution. You can pay to have the drive repaired. The cost is $100.00."
Like I'm really going to give these assholes any more $. And $100 to get it repaired?! WTF are they smoking, I can find a new one for cheaper than that. I'm seriously never going to buy another Sony product again, not even when the PS3 is $200 in 4-5 years.

a customer with a 2000 si was the last car in an 11 car pile up. it recieved frame damage but the b16 survived. we picked up a 96 (green) dx he bought from us, and we built it into to one hell of a car in 3 months...just the 2 of us. Down To Ground, we're hard core :icon16:
the car was changed from green to white and everything else was undercoated. everything was removed, wires, breaklines...stripped down to just 2 pieces of glass. converted over power steering, power door locks, power windows, cruise control (including the '00 steering wheel w/ controls), rear disc brakes. installed the 2000 dash complete with the 96 VIN swapped over (ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS EVERYTHING). installed all bolt-on's: skunk2 1 piece coliover/struts, skunk2 cat-back exhaust, AEM fpr, AEM fuelrail, AEM fuel filter, koyo radiator, ACT clutch/flywheel, pressure plate, GReddy timing belt, and any other bolt on i'm sure i'm forgetting about. polished everything: breakines, block, tranny, dizzy, brackets, and so on. oh yea, converted the front end to 2000 bumper, fenders, lights....it got a spoiler, racing seats, projectors, CF hood, CF gas door

the neighbors came out of the houses and wanted to call the ambulance however, where the ambulance goes police follow. we told them NO! don't call anyone. we' are walking and talking we're good. so we both were trying to get off the ground and back into the golf cart. took a minute but we got back in and hauled ass done the street to the house and went inside.

i also forgot.....since all the wires were taken out, rewired and whatnot....jer went ahead and rewrapped the entire harness in blue. there is zero blue loom. there is zero black electrical tape. it's one of those really nice small details
the 96 hatch didn't have keys (the previous owner threw them in a field drunk, so i'm told) and the wrecked 00 si had mis-matched keys. we had the entire 96 keyed to match the ignition key of the 00. also added the latch for the trunk release from the 00 to the 96 as it has the key lock. another small detail

damn...that is a sh*t load of work. Some of the parts (and colors) aren't my cup of tea, but that is really clean. A friend of mine and his landlord are trying to start a business, though they've been doing engine swaps and bolt-on stuff for years at their shop. But they don't do even ½ as nice of a job putting it all together (more of just a throw it together and make sure it runs right thing). 2 :thumbsup: for doing it the right way.

I know a guy who bought an EF9 last year it's pretty cool. Here's some pics if you want to see it. Pages 1,2,5,6 http://www.thejdm.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6213&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
I can try and ask him where he got it (somewhere in Cali I know) if you want me too. One of his friends got a 180sx from the same people.
