It rained so hard earlier that big flakes of primer chipped off my roof down to the bondo. Fuck! It's nice out now though, but I don't leave work until after 5pm and by the time I get home it'll be dark. Just what I love to do in the dark, paint my fucking car...

I wish I lived in a communist country. I remember watching the Discovery channel a few years ago, they had a show about some island near Asia. Obviously they are communist (or I wouldn't have mentioned it), and everyone is equal with a high quality standard of living. Fixed chips of primer off of my roof. It took less than an hour since the wife was nice enough to help me tape off stuff. Still some flaking of primer but I'm not worried about it.

Think I'm going to call about a pretty nice looking 1995 Subaru Impreza L AWD 5-speed today. It's got 150k miles and it's no rocket by any means but it looks clean from photos for $3000.

O2 sensor bad or wire loose. Either way, it may be more difficult to fix in the dark. I guess I'll just have to suffer poor mpg until Saturday...

That Subaru had more dents than the dealer admitted to and wheel scrapes and some shitty tires. The dealer emailed me two more times but wasn't even there when I went to go look at the car. The other cars on the lot had bald ass tires so they're probably all beat. So I reckon CRX will be winter beater and then some...

So my wife points out that one of my tail lights has water floating around in it and the bulb is out. Nice way to spend an hour after working all day... working on car under porch light, street light and dome light... haha. Anyway, I fixed it and it's an absolutely marvelous thing to have extra bulbs handy right there on the plastic cover when needed... :biggrin:

How difficult is it to change the alternator belt? Mine's a few years old and the battery light pops on during neutral braking more now...

Loosen the alternator, swing it back, throw a new belt on, push it back and tighten it back. If you have ac, I cant remember if you have to take it off or not, more than likely not.

I don't have A/C. So I don't mess with the pulley bolt?
