I have several riddles for you guys.
1. There is a man who lives in an apartment complex on the 12th floor. When he leaves for work every day, he takes the elevator to the first floor, and continues out the front door of the complex and on his way to work. He get a one hour lunchbreak everyday at 1pm. When he comes home, he take the elevator to only the 6th floor, gets off of the elevator and walks the remaining 6 floors to his apartment. When he leaves to go back to work, he takes the elevator all the way down. When he returns, he uses the same method as he did when returning to his apartment for the lunchbreak. Why does he do this?
2. A man lives in the forest, and has all of his life. He has and continues to walk this same trail every day of his life to retrieve water from the stream not to far away. One day, he sees a cabin in the middle of the trail. This cabin was never there before. He looks through a window and there are 6 dead bodies. How did the cabin get there?
3. You are driving a bus early on a busy Monday morning. The bus makes the first stop and picks up 5 people. The second stop, it picks up 12 more people. On the third stop, 2 people get off. Can you figure out the age of the bus driver using the given information. If so, what is his age?
Someone I work with told me these. I know the answers to all 3, so if you guys get stupmed, I will tell you the answers. Enjoy.
1) It never says he starts at the 12th floor and goes down. Obviously, it's malfunctioning.
2) There is an airplane cabin with 6 dead people crashed on the trail.
3) I'm 32 because I'm the one driving the bus... LOL

Black. They'll get dirty anyway, right?
I'm seriously considering a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee because it looks more rugged than a 99-05... Interesting little tidbit for all of you car lovers who love to obtain useless information. They continued to make the regular Cherokee in the same body style as the 96-98 (even with the headlights from the basic Cherokee from those years) up until 2001, 2 years after the Grand Cherokee took on the soccer mom SUV style. Pretty much a rip off for left over parts that are supposedly "newer" but are probably left overs that never made it to the Grand Cherokees in the previous years...
Anyway, I've been considering newer options but the way vehicles depreciate so fast these days it's hardly worth it to finance something only to have it be worth a 5th of what it was when new when it is finally paid off.

when buying a new car....it's better to lease or pay straight out...or just buy a used (3-5 yrs old) car and finance that b/c the value will already be low...but if you want new...lease, but you can't do a lot of driving though
and speaking of depreciation...my 1994 Land Cruiser is right at 200,000 miles and with that mileage and listed options...KBB value is right at $7,000...granted brand new it was $53,000., but 12 years later it's still holding it's value

That's not too bad for 12 years later... depending on the shape it's in of course.
I understand the idea behind leasing but with my commute it's not very practical. We'll still use my wife's car but the idea is to give her car a break, and alternate between vehicles. Knowing me, I'd probably bitch about every little ding if I got a relatively new car. The Grand Cherokee I'm looking at has a clean "corporate fleet owned" carfax with only 86k miles on the 4.0L straight six. I'm going to finance most of it but as money frees up in the future I'll pay it off. We'll see what happens...

Oh and to boot, apparently they didn't inform all of the police force that they were performing this exercise. So a pile of cops start hearing all of this shit going down on the radio, haha. So every officer with a car was flying into my hotel. Now that is quality entertainment!
