They don't put fiberglass in cigarettes anymore (if they ever actually did), it's just a myth. Think about it. With the huge movement going on right now with those stupid ass "Truth" ads, they would have mentioned fiberglass by now for sure. Damn those ads piss me off, all they do is remind me that I haven't smoked a cigarette in a while and I usually immediately light one up. That newest one is the worst, where the guy goes to gun stores and asks for "light" bullets. Well NO SH*T light cigarettes aren't any better for you, it's the TASTE and harshness of the damn cigarette that's light.

But they actually make bottles of flavor drops specifically for putting on cigarettes (or pot :D), to make them taste different. They sell them at every head shop I've ever been to.

Yeah I do need to quit smoking, going on 6 years now of smoking at least a pack a day. I actually just woke up with a sore throat this morning from smoking a pack and ½ yesterday. Definently not an easy thing to quit.

Anyway, it wasn't fiberglass but some kind of harsh element akin to that make up. So naturally the "rumor" was it was "fiberglass" EDIT: IN MENTHOLS.

I believe its fiberglass thats in chewing tobacco..it makes small punctures in the lip and gum and allows the nicotine to be absorbed better and faster.

I work next door to the biggest Porche/Mercedes dealership in Dallas :P... and down the street a little ways is Maserati, Aston Martin and Bentley.

I still drool more over a nice looking Honda (which I hardly see anymore) than any of those though.

Although I have to say I am looking forward to the new Audi coming out... basically just a rebodied Lambo Gallardo ... but I think it looks cooler.

i doubt it...there's a shooting on school campus...isolated incident and there's no need for panic...cops are call b/c it's assumed the person left campus and the scout the area...like i said, no cause for alarm...they sent out an email stating what happened...who knew the crazy guy stayed on campus and would just start shooting at random...they handled the situation as best they could...i would put the whole campus on lock-down if there was a shooting on on one side of the campus...any other college would have done the same

Ok then why didn't they call the cops when they heard the first couple of shots went off? Who ever is responsible for the campus saftey should be let go of the position. You obviously missed the point that Civicspoon stated. They emailed the students TWO hours later without NOTIFYING the police. Now 30 something deaths later, the school decided to call the cops. There's obviously something wrong here.

^I agree. I know my school is suspect in many ways but I do know this, if somebody gets shot on campus (which has happened before) WE CALL THE COPS! Not only are the FAMU Police (who are real officers of the law, not rent-a-cops) notified, but so are administrators so they can notify anyone if they feel necessary. How is someone shot without the police being called immediately!? If I ever get shot and the people around me just let me bleed for 2 hours, they better hope I die...

The 9:26 e-mail had few details: "A shooting incident occurred at West Amber Johnston earlier this morning. Police are on the scene and are investigating."

What’s you expect them to do, evacuate the whole campus? They assumed it was an isolated incient, like anyone else would. And the police were there. Does it makes sense for 2 people to get killed on a college campus and the police not be called? People are saying that VT has blood on their hands and what not…that’s BS. They did the best that they could with the information that they had. And like I said before, did anyone know that there was a gunman on the loose that would 2 hours later storm into classrooms attempting to kill everyone? After the first shooting he just probably blended in with the rest of the students.

BLU is absolutely right. Hindsight is always 20/20. If people hear gunshots.... I'm 50% deaf and I think I'd know a gunshot from at least 1/2 a mile away... do you really think they're going to be checking their email? And being that I've lived next to a major university town for almost half my life I can tell you that there are probably university police (who were probably shitting their pants as to what to do) as well as city police who were assembling to take somebody down. BTW, did they take the shooter down? Did they ever find this person? I think it's pure craziness. What the hell is wrong with the world?

Somehow I missed that important detail. The whole thing sounds like a nightmare. I remember there were 3 incidents near the university by me. One was when a dude went missing in the mountains. Nobody ever found him. The second was a girl who went missing on campus, nobody ever found her. The third was just recent... a girl was raped and murdered in an apartment complex. The killer was some crazy looking redneck. They tracked him near his parents house in TN. These 3 incidents within 10 years time affected and scarred the university community on a deep emotional level. I can't even begin to imagine what VT is going to be like. My heart goes out to the families of the victims...

I read a BS story before I posted that. What I read on yahoo early yesterday said that around 10 people were killed in the first shooting and 22 were killed in the second (plus the gunman). That's what I was basing my comment on. Obviously those reporters didn't get the actual story (and neither did I).

Monday: Overslept for the first time this semester on monday and missed the turn in deadline for the group homework I was in charge of printing and handing in

Tuesday: Quite possibly screwed over by my friend who needed to plagarize from my homework. Instead he just copy/pastes it which will probably result in us both getting goose eggs on it. Naturaly he only told me he copied directly AFTER we handed it in... :slap:

Got an 07 element for a few days as a loaner from Honda. My front fender they fixed a few months back looks like ass it wasn't even color matched. I don't know how hard it is to color match BLACK.
