Blu, that civic would definitely need an mpfi upgrade at least as a safety requirement to not get swallowed up by more contemporary and faster vehicles save for maybe Chevy Cavaliers and Ford Foci... haha.

$129 for a wallet with "Mugen" on it seems like a waste of money to me.

I like posting in here because 1) it passes some time while I'm at work avoiding doing work 2) I am or rather should be a writer and it's nice to practice blathering words even if nobody really cares about it. Tony i cant be specific at all to why a rwd wheel wont work on a fwd..ill letcha know..but ya know for instance if u ran a 90-93 mustang pony rim which happens to have the pattern of 4x100 howthe rim was balanced when it was made would make ur car shake like hell..not saying ive done this..heck i dont even know if the rim would have clearance to even get the lugs on..

They have different offsets. Where the RWD ones have the hub connect closer to the center of the rim, and the FWD ones have the hub connect closer to the outside of the rim.

So my parents bought me this lock de-icer gadget for x-mas. Seem like a pretty cool idea; built in flashlight, key chain, metal pick thing that you push out, push a button and it heats up. I am happy that I haven't had to test it yet this year (I usually have to crawl in through the hatch when it freezes up because my pass door has a broken lock). But I have a huge problem. I can't figure out where the damn batteries go! It's made out of cheap plastic, so I'm not very comfortable trying to pull on it too hard. Damn thing didn't even come with instructions. Of course the company, who apparently only distributes the product from China, has no web site for me to look up instructions.

I saw this thing while I was waiting on line to pay for somthing. I thought it was a neat idea. I remember once I had to get a hairdryer out to get my key in the door. keeping on that note I saw a rainx type thig you put on your windows so they wont frost/freeze over every morning.

rainx makes some good products.

I finally figured it out, i had to pull the whole thing in half.

I've always wanted to try out that rain-x stuff, my windows always have frost on them, even with the circulation setting on (the one that pushes in the outside air or whatever it is). I want to get some of the regular rain-x stuff, cause I can never see anything.

Edit: OHHHH snap! That Anti-Fog stuff "reduces smoke residue" too. I'm definently going to pick some of that stuff now.

I love the sunshine. No snow. Funny though... the tards up in the western NC mountains have 2 hour delays and school/college cancelations today but the weatherman showed that there was no precipitation at all and that it was just cold (20s)...

I've heard about that new lexus with the 5.0l v8 and 8 speed tranny. I know the old IS300 is RWD but is the new IS250-350 fwd or rwd. Not very impressive visually. I'd much prefer a BMW 328 or 330ci instead.

I believe the IS has the option of RWD or AWD which would be sweet. The body style took some getting used to but it grew on me.

What about that 8 speed tranny? That is like the CVC trannies now being used in like the Ford Fusion. I like that car but I don't know if I could get used to the constant gear shifts. My wife's VW Passat has a 5 speed automatic and 2nd gear is really useless when just cruising from a stand still. If you're in boost and on it, then you can notice. But even then the gear is so short that it just goes to third. I guess that's why I got my Jeep... nice 4 speed tranny.

6 speed on the IS if I remember correctly. My gurls 06 VW has a such a smooth gear box way better then my new Accord it shifts way more seamlessly.

My wife's VW still shifts smooth even with 188k. I just don't like how second feels laggy from a stand still unless I get on it (which I normally do anyway). The new Accord is really nice. I have a question about the tail lights. If one of those LED goes bad do you replace the one bulb? Or is it the whole shebang? Either way I'd hate to find out.
