No, I was talking about being in third, and hitting second insted of 4th. It will bury the hand down all the way but a rev limiter has never kicked in (only happend twice and it was only for a second or so).

What TSC did is called a mechanical overrev. The transmission starts spinning very fast as soon as you put it in second, and when you let the clutch out, the engine will try to match the transmission speed (at that point it's 8000+ rpms), and the only thing that can be done is to disconnect the transmission from the engine using the clutch, and switch to a different gear. To protect from having this happen the ECU would have to "push" the clutch in for you at the rev limit rpms.

I plan on extending the wiring from my side markers to the correct connection the front bumper signals so they blink only when activated and not stay on all the time. Also, I'm going to paint the corner lights, bumper signals and side markers amber and replace blue bulbs with amber bulbs. It should look decent despite the primer body.

Oh yeah, Honda wants prepayment for $28 to order plastic body screws. Fuck that! I'm using a pop rivet gun to reattach my side skirt.

i never said i hated you car, nor did i say i would take pleasure in seein it damaged. but i am unfarmiliar with such modifications to pickups. i understand that this is how you like them an i have offended you. i have nothing against you or your vehicles. i didnt know about the engine spec. of the truck in question. i know now you've put a lot of time and money into them an i respect that. sorry to ahve offended you, i didn't mean to an i think my mood at the time affected what i mean to say. this is not an excuse i know it was my fault an i recognise that.

like turtlecrxsi said its like a different world in england, people just dont modify pick-ups so we see them differently, our have small diesle engines and are known for being slow, utility vehicles.

i didn't mean to offend you about your wheels, again it was my opinion, i personally dont like chrome, but that's not to say others should have/like them. you may not believe it from what you've read, but i dont go around pointing out what i see is wrong with others' vehicles. after all its your truck and you are free to do what you want with it, no-one can change that.

Finished body work. It'll pass for beater status. Rewired all front signal lights and painted with Krylon Stainglass Paint. It looked so yellow after 2-3 coats so I sprayed it thick and it took forever to dry. I think it looks pretty bad and even though the lights blink, they don't shine very far. I reckon that's okay though. I'll post pics when I get access to digital camera...
