In other news, I just picked up the new laptop and its pretty nice. I have to real need for the touch screen feature, but its a fun toy for now. I suppose I have to stay on Windows 8 to keep it working instead of loading Vista like I did on my last laptop when Windows7 was new (and buggy)

Windows 7 64 bit is the best operating system windows has come out with, and in my opinion is better than anything Apple has out right now as well. However that mostly comes down to preference.

If you don't know your ass from a stick in the ground you'll prefer the Apple OS because you can't do anything other than point and click on it.

If you care about your life and your family and loved ones, you'll use Windows 7 because you can do anything you want with it.

Ugh I can't find a stereo unit to put into my Fit that seems to be good. Everything I've searched for people do nothing but bash on it. How am I supposed to drop 800$ on a navigation system/stereo for my car if they all suck.

I'm 90% worthless for tech advice but I do know I hate Apple OS every time I use it. Mostly cause I've been tuned to Windows since the 90s. I also hate iNation, so there's that. Friend of mine builds PCs and all that, so I just leave my computer at his doorstep when I don't know what to do with it.


Stereos? Been years since I was looking at head units. My Sony Xplod (widely panned as garbage) worked out great in the Accord. Seems to me that audiophiles pan most stuff that isn't really high-end.
