In other news, TBS moved Home Improvement to 8-9am slot and Fresh Prince back to 7-8am slot, hence making me think my clock was wrong and I had overslept.

Not knowing much more about you than the fact that you too are still holding on the memories of AF gone by, I find it hard to imagine you choosing to wake up to either of those shows unless its some sort of masochistic act

Lol, no I don't go out of my way to watch, although I'm pretty sure I've seen every single episode of Fresh Prince at least a dozen times. But when I wake up that's what the tv usually goes on as background noise while I'm doing the shit/shower/shave thing.

Fresh Prince is quality, and I have probably seen all the episodes 9and memorized the theme song like everybody else did). Never was a fan of Home Improvement except for Al Borland.

I don't hate the last Lude but I never warmed up to the front end styling. The H22 stands on its own merit though so for that reason alone I would say Ye

I used to hate H22 engines, I guess really they're not bad though. Remember the "b" engine that came in the old old Preludes, with the carbon reinforced cylinders and such.

If the Layaway bride comes to you blue, I'd suggest sending her back immediately.

Don't really like the idea of the FRM (Fiber Reinforced Metal) sleeves in them, though I'm not sure what years or specifically coded H22's have them. But obviously Honda didn't really have aftermarket performance in mind for such engines (including the S2000's and NSX's). Nothing getting the block sleeved can't take care of :pimp:

Otherwise the H22 is a badass engine. My friend has had a turbocharged one for 7-8 years now. Even with low boost, and low compression, the torque is freaking awesome. Actually I joined this forum 10 years ago, looking for info to help him with the details of the swap into his Civic (when it was NA).

But I agree with 00accord44. The front end on them isn't all that pleasing to the eye, IMO. It's not that it's horrible, it's certainly along the lines of what other Japanese cars were doing at the time, for their luxury cars. An elongated front end, with lighting designed (visually) for simplicity. I much prefer the style of the '91-'96 Preludes, that I feel was ahead of it's time.

I didn't even know some H22's had the reinforced cylinders. Shows how long I've been out of the Honda game lol. I've always loved the long low slung front end on later ones, even though everyone else disagrees lol. I've been looking at 4th gens again too, doubt I'll buy one as a daily though. I regret selling all the stuff I had for a D stroker I had in the works back in the day. But I had to grow up and go to college and get rid of all my cool stuff. But now... now I can have toys again :D... well as soon as I get out of this damned $1000/mo apartment and into a place where I can actually work on stuff again.

Speaking of getting rid of apartments, I'm 95% sure that ill ne moving back into moms house once my lesse is up in January. Next time I move after that, it will be into a place I own.

Now I just need to build s tunnel and hidden sanctuary where I can enjoy my "gardening' and philandering in peace.

Damn Sandy bringing the wind and rain for the next few day, and past few days. The main "eye" of the storm hasn't even reached me yet. Should be here tomorrow or Thursday. Oh well. Storm = less trick-or-treaters = more candy for me :D
I found out today that one of my favorite local brewers, Genesee Brewing Company, has been sold to a Costa Rican company. To make matter's a little worse, I just NOW realized they my favorite beer of theirs (Dog Bite [under the "company" Rock Wall Brewing Company]) at some point changed their % of alcohol from 10% to 8%. Thought my tolerance had gone through the roof, when I was downing 2-3 24oz cans in a night, and up to 3-4. Now that I think about it, it probably happened around the time when their price went up .20¢ a can. Guess it's time to move full time to Naddy Daddy 24oz cans, that are $1.39 a can vs $1.59 a can.
But to top it all off... Lucas Films was sold to f'ing Disney for $4.08 BILLION dollars, and they are going to make at least 3 more Star Wars movies. Not to mention they also have the rights to Indiana Jones. Seriously... How are they going to make another non-laughable Star Wars movie, to make up for the last 3, when it's going to be made by Disney? Are they going to have the next 3 movies about freaking Ewoks? Turn light sabers into wands & fairy dust, that turn Sith into dust? Turn Jedi in to full blown goddamn hippie pacifists? :jerking:

Not sure how to take this. I actually haven't seen John Carter before, but remember hearing about it. It was supposed to be a movie that Disney, and the producers were overwhelmingly supportive of. However, if I recall correctly, did horrible in theaters, and (now that I've checked) did horrendous on Rotten Tomatoes (not always a site that goes along with my personal opinion). So I'm assuming, as I did before looking at Rotten Tomatoes, that you're being sarcastic. But I'm naive at times, so I might be wrong.

Generally speaking, its safe to assume that I'm being sarcastic at all times... now not being one of those times. Although I've never seen it, I am 100% sure that the movie is beyond terrible.

Sounds like you have the opposite problem my friend does. He rebuilt his H22A and put 3.5 qts in it. The Helms manual calls for 5 or more qts for a newly rebuilt engine. His dipstick still reads too high with the 3.5 in it. That even accounts for the oil feed & return lines for his turbo.
