Personally, I go with the IS300. Gotta love the inline-6 with a manual gear box. Plus, the STi would bump up your insurance more I do believe. I've also heard a lot of bad things about the STi's gear box problems, or was that the WRX? hmmm...

But then if it was me... I'd wait for the VW Golf R32 (which is what I'm doing)

I'm starting to get so irritated with myself. I started off wanting to do LS/turbo for my car, but the more I think about it, and the more I read, the more my stupid mind can't decide what to do.
Now I'm trying to choose between that 1.5liter SOHC vtec engine, the D16Z6, or the B18A...

got bored today in auto class and decided to put a uniwiper on my car, it looks alright, car looks shitty already so why not complete the look hehe :screwy:

Ha ha, I also have a "single wiper conversion."

Truth is my drivers side one is broked so need a new one, until I get it I have simply relocated the passenger wiper more centerally

so i wake up this morning and take 2 steps out of my room to find a tank full of dead fish. :banghead: at first i thought the lobster had gone mad and tore into everybody...but then i noticed they some how disconnected the air filter (which is built into the lid) :dunno: i lost 4 out of my 5 tinfoil barbs. that was the most upsetting. they ranged from 8-12" each. i can't go out and just replace them. they had grown to that size over the last 1-1.5yrs

i got the 4 or 5 alive fish out of the tank and into my 10 gal frog tank. it's a good thing the frogs are strictly aquatic and the tank is set-up the same.

i figured the lobster was dead because he wasn't moving. when i tried to get him out his leg twitched. i wasn't sure if he was dead or alive. got the filter working. maybe 15-20 mins later all his legs started twitching and he got up and started walking around...like someone jolted his battery. go figure. i'm pretty amazed he's alive. the tank is too tall for him to swim up for any kind of air.

Sorry to hear that Ami. I have a 29 gallon tank that just went thru a bout with ick. My water got cold when the hurricane came thru and knocked out power for 4 days (also meant no filter, which I am sure didn't help.) I lost two little fish, a black neon, and regular neon tetra. I even remembered to take the snails out since the ick medication kills invertebrates :thumbsdow

I managed to save most of the fish which also include:
rosey barbs, a tiger barb, a platy or two, a pearl gourami, about 4 or 5 each of black & regular neons and some diamond tetras.
I have a Moonlight Gourami in my collection that is about 8 years old and probably 5 inches long. That thing even survived my ex-wife ignoring them for months (nothing other than sometimes remembering to feed them), before I saved them and got them out of her house. :thumbsup:

I just bought a new tank, cuz my old one was leaking...I think it was shook up from the move and it was leaking water all over my brand new house :banghead: - I found a use for my old leaky tank too and upgraded the lizard's house...she likes it.

go to yahoo or something and create a photoalbum and upload the photos you want to post to the album on yahoo or whatever....then right click on the picture you want to upload and go to properties....highlight the url for the picture that shows up on the properties screen and then paste it into the message like this {img}urlhere{/img} with [] instead of {}

OMG, HELP!!!!!!!!!! I'm dying from stupidity here today!!!!!! Ami I understand about the tinfoil barbs. I have three tanks. I have clown loaches which are some of the harder fish to keep happy. So far I have had mine for about 2 years. If you ever need any help on the tanks I am more keen on those than on cars.

thanks for the input guys. the tank i have is 30 gal. it sucked when i fed the remaining fish. it's generally a feeding frenzy with the tinfoils splashing water. it was very quiet and calm when i fed the remaining 5 fish last night. i used to have 5 tinfoils, 6 tigers, 5 cherries, 3 long tail cherries, and 1 gold.....all barbs. the lobster ate all 8 cherries, 2 tigers, and almost ate a 3rd. he was recovering in the frog tank. now i have 1 tinfoil, 3 barbs (1 in frog tank), and the gold left :(

barbs are aggressive fish, that is why i keep them together and each type in shools of at least 3. what other fish do you think i could add into the barb mix? i was thinking maybe Bala Sharks instead of replacing the tinfoils. to buy them the size they were would be spendy. if i'm going to get a baby fish, i was thinking of trying something different that will get big.
