i'm a cad technician for a german automatic lubrication company....my job basically it to draw new kits for construction equipment and whatever....but i basically do my work so fast that it leaves me with nothing to do...i sometimes do nothing all day but work on looking like i'm working :lol: doesn't help that the manufacturing business is kinda in a slump....

that's when i found out about kazaa and began d/l movies, videos, and music...but after about 3 months or so of me watching movies while i was working....they decided to get tough on me.....oh well....that's my job....oh yeah....there is no room for advancement here :grinno:

BTW....my brother is back at home :thumbsup:....bu only for 2 weeks....he got home sunday and leaves either the 9th or 10th :(

Boy I wish my job was as laid back as yalls... Management sucks sometimes :frown: ... had to let 5 people go Tuesday, which has really put me in a bind all week.

On an up-note though, my engine is scheduled to arrive at around 1:30p.m. CST today.

My job hasn't always been this laid back... I'm mostly here to answer questions for the people that work for me. They do the real work. So I suppose you could say I'm in management too :lol:

I am in the military as well (active duty) & I feel for your brother. I sure as hell wouldn't want to be there. I was deployed earlier this year for the "war", but since I'm Air Force (that should answer your question Lisa :smile: ), once the 'air campaign' was over we went home.

I know what you mean about having nothing to do at work... I only get tired of AF when no one is posting anything for hours at a time. My web-surfing is limited because a lot of the web-sites I'd go to are blocked. Oh well...

my brother is going to come home from s. korea in either jan or mar '04 for good. wheeeeeeeee! he finally got a pc in his room so i can chat with him. didn't get to talk to him for like 6 months and it sucked.

Aperently it broke the timing belt @70mph on the freeway in fifth gear si I am getting the motor for performing a swap (YAY!) If I got the motor brand new I would still tear in to it and upgrade shit so the damage dosent bother me whatsoever, pluss, it still runs cool... I am betting on valves and maybe cracked piston.
Anyone wanna take a shot at why the engine is knocking? (Course the only other person who heard it running was greg, so its not realy fair but your all welcome to guess) I will anounce the winner when I tear it apart, the winner gets $20 but you can only guess on one engine part/problem and it cant be bent valves or cracked pistons or bent rods or spun bearings because I guessed those already.
Oh, and no guessing piston rings cylinder wall or crankshaft related problems iether. LOL!
