I wasnt asking 6K, I was asking for $4000. Anyway the motor I built ran fine (Ask greg, I drove it over to his work when I fixed almost all the problems) which I then found out were ECU related, the water pump needed to be replaced which I did and I put a new seal on it and it no longer leaks. Not that it matters anyway, no one has the money to pay for the whole car/motor so I am peicing it out. The change of heart came from me getting a FREE GSR motor and the fact that my 90 civic is ghetto and pretty much only good for a racecar at this point, so I descided to get rid of the whole thing.
It seems to me that your always jumping on my case whenever things are going good for me... I dont understand why that is since you seem to be totally content with your car.
Also, you know that I am easily irratable and yet you poke at me as if you want me to get pissed and make an ass out of myself so you can say "See, look what an ass Seth is" but thats not going to happen.
And no "not doing myself a favor? are you threatening me seth?" was not a threat I am saying that your not doing me or yourself any favors, so why do you continue to drag this crap out? You should just drop it and let things be.

Seths car was driven over here to my work and ran pretty good. not perfect, but good enough to drive. and the pics on his ebay auction werent pics of it after it was taken out of the engine.

and seth, you didnt ever post until now (after alreayd tryign to sell parts) that the car is running and running decent at that. This is why ami was saying dont expect a lot of us to want to buy stuff cause it seemed like it was all problems.

sorry greg, you are not going to lock this. seth CAN NOT get mad over things HE typed with his very own fingers. nobody is responsible for what he says but him. this thread will not be ruined for everybody because he posts one thing and then another and then is called out.

Ok, the parts have a total of five to ten miles on them... As far as I am concerned that is NEW, if the pistons havent even been used long enough to break in the rings its NEW, and when I take them out of the engine (Taking it apart monday when i get back from vacation) and you cant tell them apart from a set you just got in the mail I consider that to be NEW. I took out my spark plugs and looked in my cylinders and they are still shiny as can be, as far as I am conserned they are new and on top of all that I rarely post here, and if there is no problem with the engine why should I post? Do you see people posting threads saying "Hey my car runs great" I would say good for you, why are you waisting digital space? Anyway, $500 for a set of Endyn pistons and eagle rods (even with a whoping five to ten miles on them) is an insane fucking deal! The pistons alone will cost you $500 shiped and the rods are $375 shiped and thats the BEST deal you can find on the rods I garantie it (I know because I scoured the internet for weeks looking for the best deal) Then its $100 for the piston rings and another $45 for the ACL rod bearings... What I am selling is over $1000 worth of parts for $500 (Reserve) and $25 for shiping, I am sorry if you dont have the money for any of my parts but thats just the way the cookie crumbles.

As far as it being "Fraud" and "Misleading" NEW is actualy a matter of opinion. Let me ask you this, if I took a set of pistons and put them into an engine and ten imeadeatly took them out would they still be "new" or would that make them "Used"?

I never boke the engine in, I never ran it more then 5-10 miles so I have no idea wht kind of power it will put out.

you spent 6k and you dont even have a guess or estimate of what numbers the motor will produce

160-180 WHP... Somewere areound there after tuning. But honestly every engine is different. You could build two of the same engine with the exact same parts and have 20-30 hp differences between them after the same tuning.

160-180BHP? Ouch, for $6k US?? Double ouch. $5k Australian, full rebuilt engine, D16A8, FULL GReddy turbo kit, installed, everything, yes they're mates rates, but it gives you some idea of why people are doubting the prices you're laying on them.

that might be new to you...but not to the rest of the world. that is why people on ebay use the term "like new" or "used less than 20mi". you say it's been gapped and so on but you never ANYWHERE say it's because they have been installed. instead you try to make it seem like you did the buyer a favor by gapping them.

that is 100% MISLEADING & FRUAD. it is NOT new. you are misleading the person who is looking to buy new parts. i know i don't buy used parts on ebay for this exact reason....it has always been used more than the seller claims.

I got the car running cool and drove it for five to ten miles... I am not going to drive it >obviously< if it has problems, so its just like I said. Secondly it doesent matter because I already sold the pistons and rods to them to someone who knows there valvue.

u need to brace the box from the inside.

we put screws ever 3 inches or so right next to the nails and it is fine now
but i still want to sell them and get this 18 and box

You should build your own box... The box I built for the two 12" subs I used to have blew the doors off the box's guys at the stereo shop were selling for $600 and I only spent $180 on material and 16 hours with my roomate (Getting his AA in physics) desighning it and then about 6-8 hours building it... I was for sure one of the sickest box's I have ever seen, the subs apeared to be mounted into the pexiglass face except there were four 1" steel pieces going into it... I cant realy explain it, you would have to see a pic.

I was cruising through a import tuner yesterday and looking at seats (Some of you guys probably got the issue with the seats in it) and I was looking at the weaght VS comfort VS price and I ran across these NEX seats, they weagh 11.8 lbs (Most seats in the weaght catagory are $800+) and apear to be very comfortable (At least for my ass, 34-36) and at only $275 that is an awsome deal! They are also bottom mount desighn so that shouldnt be a problem... Just thought I would share my discovery with everyone.

Bastards. You get Import Tuner on time. I like that mag, we have SHIT car mags. We have a good new fashion mag for guys, but car mags suck for 4 cylinders here.

Actualy my favorite is Honda Tuning, its more in depth than most import magazines... They talk about the machining proceses and compression ratio vs camshafts and tuning tips and such, not like other fake ass mags that say "Hey its got a greddy turbo pushing 6PSI!!! WOW Thats gotta be fast!"

Yeah I get Honda Tuning too. Some of their build ups are really good! And they're honest. GReddy, 14psi if you stick in a block stopper. ;)

i got my stuff tied up. you have loss of short term or what? i mentioned that when you guys were talking about it.

i was actually like 22-ish when i had it done. i've talked to other women who were suprised they let me do it under the age of 25. i think it's because i had good excuses. broke my pelvic bone in 3 places at 17 and when pregnant w/ vic i had morning sickness for 8 mos. was hospitalized 3 times for dehydration....which i found out can force a person into premature labor. doh!

YTay my cars running again, new reconditioned D16A8 in it, but it has a heating prob, we think its just the gauge though, will inspect a bit more today.
