I put some new 6x9's into my car today. I had to take the trunk stabalizer bar out. I didn't want to take the trunk off, so I just cut the bar. When I got through the trunk fell and smacked me in the head. I have a lump now.

victorian is in 1st grade this year. tonight was open house...let me back the bus up:

the first week of school the teacher tells me she's going to test the kids to see where they are at but she really wasn't going to test vic. she said she kinda knew where she was at and that vic would be getting 2 books to read at night vs. the rest of the class only 1. vic was flying thru those books. teacher tells me yesterday to let her read the whole book that was sent home and she'll test vic on it the next day. today at open house the teacher tells me vic had 80% comprehention on the book, which she says is beyond outstanding. by the end of the year the teacher said she will be reading on her own.

the teacher also said they don't really start reading until 2nd grade. vic will probably end up getting ahead due to that being one less thing she will need to learn and will be able to more focus on other subjects.

Lol Ami - Yasmin (my oldest daughter) was like that - to the extent of crawling under the car to help me do oil changes etc... now she's heading on 14 she wouldn't be caught getting dirty :D The other 3 kids never took to it though.
