Had some "dubious" lumps removed last week, one from my face, one from my hand, they were sent off for testing, I got this email back today from my doctor:

Dear Gavin,
The lesion on your cheek was a skin cancer, but has been completely removed, so should not recur. If you need further information please make an appt.

Wow Gavin...that's some shit! Well, hopefully - like the Dr. said - they got all of it & you won't have anything to worry about. I'd definitely follow up with the doctors though...just to be on the safe side...

I'm gonna try to be at the meet... Thing is I'll have my girls for the summer & trying to fit 5 people in the hatch for a road trip is gonna be damn near impossible. Not to mention I'll be the only guy in a car full of girls

I can hook you up man, but you gotta wait a week or so. Which reminds me... I've only got:

5 DAYS LEFT!!!

It might be closer, but you're not gonna have 4 women in your car that have to stop every half hour to piss

I could easily make it to OR in less than two days - by myself. When we moved my sister from OR to ND it took us six days!!!

Thanks for the support guys. Yeah, not too fazed about it to be honest, but the doctor's getting his arse kicked big time by my CO. 1, because he emailed me results like that and didnt run through anything, and 2, because he told me I'd be fine and should go off and not worry about them at all, only removed and tested them because I told him to. He did the same with another guy only a week before mine I discovered also. Its not like we're talking about the difference between a flu or a cold, this is cancer for fucks sake. And he wants to send us off to "harden up."

Looks good man. I mean, yeah there's some areas you'll need to work on, but it's definitely a good platform to improve on! What happened to the Shu-4's?

Killa_CRX

What happened to the Shu-4's?

The Saturday before I picked up the car there was a string of 36 car vandalisms right in the area where it was parked... fuckin' dumbass told me 'I'm still going to leave it out for others to look at, until you get the money together' because he didn't think that I was actually going to buy it.... so he calls me at 6a.m. on a Sunday and told me that the car got broken into and it was sitting up on blocks.
So the rims were stolen, sound system was stolen, drivers side window was broken because they were trying to pry the door open with a crow bar and ended up just breaking the window instead, and the alarm system and keyless entry/alarm system was cut.
I had him put the stock rims back on, and managed to talk him down a further $700 due to the repair costs.
Fixed the door, replaced the window, reconnected the alarm system, took apart the interior and took out the carpet to clean out all the broken glass and ran wires for a new sound system (luckily I had a couple of amps and subs sitting at my house).
Got a new CD player that I'm not satisfied with... slowly getting rid of the nasty red interior pieces and returning them to stock color. I've got to pay off some bills, and then I'm going to start the body work and getting the car ready to repaint... I'm up in the air as to whether I want to paint the car championship white or S2000 suzuka blue.

For those wondering whether to turbo or supercharge, here's the answer:

http://www.redcliffedyno.com/store/287.jpg

Do both :D

Car is an early '70s Holden Torana - almost enough to make me think of getting one to mod rather than project '74 Skyline 2000GT-R ;)

What's a mile - we don't use such archaic measurements :p Probably a lot more than that in all reality - the guy who owns/built it has had it in different configs and runs his own performance dynotuning center :)

How not to write up a site on CRXs: http://www.geocities.com/kingcrx/Kcmtwony.html

Pity he doesn't realise that '73 Civics were NOT Honda's first foray into production water-cooled cars - I'd suggest that owners of the S500/S600/S800, Coupe 7, Coupe 9 and the N600 might have something to say about that.

His definition of CRX stands a bit of ROFLing too, as does his guide on painting the centres of your mags :D

I could go on forever with it ;)

LMAO just found this on that site......

Benefits of the B16 engine swap.

Increased horsepower. There are other ways to increase horsepower that will be discussed later in the book
Increased acceleration
More responsive enjoyable ride
Increased top end
Overall better performance
Problems you might have with the engine

so its basically faster  he doesnt have a clue!!!

Yay! My P08 ECU came in today! We'll see if that does the trick later this weekend when I have a chance to work on the car a little.

It's a funny shape... the ECU case is not shaped like most Honda ECU's I've seen. Weird.
