That's an 82. They sorta changed the gauges and console in 1985.5. Mine was the later/newer style. Supposedly, the 1989 series produced 2000 2.7L but were "shadowed" by the 951 (or 944 turbo). I took out the backseat top part in mine and it freed up some weight, but the big ass 12s in the cusom made box in the rear sorta evened it back out again. I'll always miss my 944. It had a K&N intake box, full custom 2.5" exhaust... sounded badass. I put tons of money into it for parts like a new clutch, etc. and spent loads of money on labor cuz mechanics weren't very willing to work on my car. The timing belt broke and the mechanic wanted 300 bux to change it without adjusting the valves or checking the head and I said F it and sold it for $875 with some new uninstalled new parts like the timing belt and water pump. I was just not willing at the time to try it myself. The dude hauled it out of my yard the same day I flew to NJ to pick up my CRX...
Civic Jim
12-07-2004, 10:45 AM
cool, yeah thats right the later ones had a "oval dash" but the brakes were better on the early ones so i hear , have to see how things go on insurance over the next few days really

takes a few days to get insurance quote? I can call my insurance and tell them the car and they can give me a quote right then, or even add a car over the phone.

i will get rid of the civic this year its just a matter of when, i want something different, i have had 3 of them now.......

my wisdom teeth were impacted. that means my mouth had no room for those bastards to pop up. it was extremely painful when they tried to come in. it requires oral surgury to remove them :thumbsdow
one of jer's friends is cuban. there is a cuban market he always went to. there was something there i have no idea what it was called but it was hella easy to eat during recovery. it was like mashed potato ball deep fried, it had meat in the middle. it was very soft and believe it or not tasted pretty good.

yea my bottom ones were impacted, and they decided to take the tops ones as well incase they decided to do the same thing later on down the line. so far i've been eating pudding, pillsbury crescent rolls, drinkin pop, and eating aero bars, u just gotta let em melt hehe. it sucks tho because the right side of my mouth hurts a hell of a lot more and i can still taste blood :( and the stupid pain killers arent helping today either. it feels hella swollen tho. thank god it only happens once in ur life haha
