we left on sat afternoon for reno, nv to drop off the black si....the final car to be finished in that huge car swap. we got back last night. we go to the shop this morning to discover our shop had completely flooded. apparently a few hrs after we left on Sat a freak storm rolled thru and dumped over 1" rain within an hr followed by hail.

at first it looked like somebody had painted the floor brown....then we noticed the huge puddle in the bathroom, puddle in the office, puddle in the shop area. luckily the only thing that was on the ground that could be ruined was a pair of Si front seats which were already permantly busted.

I have the ole' squeaky sound in my CRX and it's driving me nuts. It seems to occur when it's still a bit chilly out. I'm debating on taking everything out the back to find it. All I have is a spare tire, a scissor jack and tool and some jumper cables in the back (none of which are moving around). I think the rear speaker brackets are flimsy. Would that cuz this insane squeak? Any suggestions?

I'm not too sure. It may be something in the side rear quarters (behind the rear speakers). I did a search and I think it was riceriderjade who said the hatch would be the culprit so I checked the one hatch strut I use and even though there is some play I doubt that would squeak with it shut. I really don't want to take everything apart. Hell, I've even shook my car with my ear inside the door to listen. Maybe it's in my door. Sometimes when I'm driving I'll open the door and shut it and the sqeak will disappear briefly, but then it always comes back....

I know the fix to the squeek.

I'm about to murder my civic with a grinder, picture coming soon.
