so i have a blue & purple crawfish. we went to reno last weekend. when we got back i had noticed he crawled next to a glass bowel in the tank. no biggie. figured he was about to shed his shell and grow some more. he still hasn't moved. sometime between when we left for reno and yesterday he passed away.

when gta & his woman were here in early sept. she bought him 9 feeder fish. he devoured 8 of them. the 9th fish is still alive and swimming in the tank :evillol:

the errie thing is, i guess, when these crawfish pass away they just kick the bucket. they don't turn color or float to the top. there is no way to tell that they have passed on....other than sitting in the same spot for a week :grinno:

i'm sure he's dead. a while back the filter came apart in the middle of the night (which jer blames crawfish for) the filter tube came off and the air supply was cut off. i woke up to 95% of my fish dead. i quickly fixed the filter for the few fish who were barely alive. i'm scooping out the dead fish, maybe 5 mins pass, i notice 1 of the crawfish's legs twitch. then another leg twitches. he does a full body twitch and then goes about his business. like his battery was jump started.

i have to assume while we were in reno that the tank got too cold?!?! when we got home the tank had dropped to 72. i rasied the temp, it was 2 days later i noticed he hadn't moved. which would be normal if he shed his shell. i poked him with the fish net and got no response. then again, the feeder fish didn't die from the cold water. maybe he died of old age at 1.5 years?!?!?! i wonder if because he got so big it shortened his life span? i recently (within 1-2 month's time) put him in his own 10 gal tank as he was constantly growing in the 30 gal tank

I just rebooted my computer and upgraded to windows XP professional. Everything works and seems to be fine but my friend said i should've formatted it. How do i do format? Anybody?

if you format you'll loose everything you have on it, turn your computer on hit F1 I think (one of the f keys) go into direct comand mode and type format c/
