HOLY SHYT you guys!

most of you don't know i have a step-sis because her and i don't really get along. we sometimes go a couple of yrs without talking anymore. she called a couple of nights ago to tell me somebody we knew had been murdered execution-style.

shane wilson was somebody she was more friends with. i knew him from her. one night she told me her and shane were going out and his friend jer was going to be there. i was like "what is a jer?" she told me to come along and find out. thats how i met him :) i later found out jer & shane weren't all that great of friends. and a couple of yrs later (after we moved to OR) we were down in cali and stopped off to visit with a different friend of jer's. shane called while we were there. he was told we were all just leaving. jer really didn't care to see him. shane rushed over anyway and as we were stepping out the pad shane sucker punched jer in the face. it was all over jer & shane were somewhere one day (in the past) and shane got into a fist fight with some dude. the cops later called jer and asked if he knew of the knife in shanes car jer says "yes but what does this have to do with a fist fight?" turns out they weren't calling about a fist fight but some other incident where shane pulled a knife on somebody. and so he ends up doing some minimal time in jail. he blamed jer. you can imagine why jer never cared for his presence in Cali to be known. he didn't care to be in association with shane. he had anger issues...always walked around like a badass with an ego to boot. it's sad to talk about someone who passed away like that but lets put it this way....

i was more shocked his story made it into the paper than i was shocked to hear he was murdered.

"A dispute over drugs was the possible motive in the execution-style slayings of three people in a Van Nuys apartment last weekend, Los Angeles police detectives said Wednesday.

Police said the target of the attack was parolee Shane Wilson, 31, who was found Saturday bound and beaten to death in his apartment on Hayvenhurst Avenue.

The killer or killers came after Wilson in a dispute possibly over drugs, Los Angeles Police Det. Adrian Soler said Wednesday.

Also found in the apartment were the bodies of Nicole Jones, 20, who was identified by a neighbor as Wilson's live-in girlfriend, and Shelini Kashyap, 29, a fifth-grade teacher at Live Oak Elementary School in Castaic.

The women died of gunshot wounds to the head and the man died of a blunt-force injury to the head, coroner's officials said.

Detectives said it appeared that Kashyap was just a visitor at the apartment"

Well... I bought the distributor and ECU off the D16Z6 that my local parts yard had.
And that makes the last of the parts I needed to get my civic up and running... next week is the week! I'm going to work day and night if I have to!

alright, well i was just really wondering how much the whole things worth, my buddy has one which is a complete swap, motor, ecu, tranny everything (well he still has the whole car too) but he wants to know how much he could get for it, i was thinkin around 1200 cnd
he said if i can sell it for him for over 1000 he'll give me the rims off it for free :)

the motors in good shape, runs good, the car was rolled over but the guy who owns it said the car still drives somewhat so its in good shape,
its from a 90 or 91 lude

dont waste your money on it its a horrible motor its fine if you just plan on keeping it as is but if you plan on modding it its not gonna get you any where. save your time and money that my :2cents:

anyways thats what hes selling, motor, tranny, ecu, wiring, everything but mounts for a 4th gen, u gotta buy those because i dont think the ones from the integra will fit our cars, hes asking 2000 obo for everything. dunno the shape of the dash or anything else tho, seats are spoken for tho, and rims are possible mine if he sells the motor.

also, will the center console from that car fit ours?? if so i gotta grab dibs on that :D

man, i give up. the shop installed some sound equip. in a new restaurant. we all recieved an invite to eat there on pre-opening night, which was sat night. i dunno what did it to me but something i ate that night caused an allergic reaction. i broke out in hives yesterday. :banghead: first time in my life and i hate it!

My dad has a del sol (the same color even) with a trailer hitch. He tows his ultralight to the airstrip with it when he doesn't feel like driving the truck..

DAMN!! That looks just like my old Isuzu!!! For some reason when you first mentioned it, I thought the '94 had the newer body style (S-10). Mine looked just like that except I had Z-71 wheels & a solid-side shell. Now I definitely have to find some pics for ya!

I never should've sold that truck... I hate to think how awesome my 'Zu would've been if I never got my Civic... Oh well.

I'm with you... that crap is just a waist of good bandwidth! Only 130 posts and they're probably all crap like that...

I don't buy into commercialized holidays like Valentines day... maybe that's because I've worked for a sales and marketing company for too long.... but yeah... no valentines day, fathers day, mothers day, or Christmas for me anymore...(Christmas is not the celebration of how many presents we get for the year)
I might buy her some roses, or take her out to eat somewhere romantic... but I do crap like that on a fairly regular basis anyways.
The REAL gift times are on birthdays, for me... and my girls birthday is right around the corner... which is kinda scary considering how much money I've spent on my car in these past two months.
