i do :D seems to be almost the only time i get to work on my car. ACtually need to do a tune up so i can smog it....shall be doing that within acouple days probably.

actually i want to vent for a second. one of those people who does that very recently pissed me off. not to pat myself on the back but when he needs a part, we have it. when he needs a tool, he can come get it. shit...when he needed money we bought parts we didn't need from him and let him slide on paying parts we sold him. he has an engine an tranny jer wants. jer just asked him again last week if he wanted to sell it. guy said "why would i do that, i'm putting it in my car" we find out he sold it yesterday to another friend who doesn't even live in this town anymore. grrrrrrrrrrr....some people.

well... went to the stereo comp today, they just ran SPL tests, i didnt win but i think i did well, not many cars there at all tho, about 8 for the stereo comp, and about 16 for the show (and all the ones for the comp were in the show as well) but yea, i hit 130.1 so i think i did quite well, we each got 2 trys, and my first i got 122.3 so i had a good improvement using a different song and tweakin a lil bit hehe, think i broke my deck tho, i was driving later tonight and all of a sudden my deck just shuts off, then it starts flickering on and off, then it finally stayed off, so i dunno what happened :(

I actualy think I have it all pretty much figure out... Got the idle down to 1500ish but it still fluxuates, and I got the codes down to just 13 (Been there the whole damn time) I fixed the oil leak to... So now there is the coolant leak I will be fixing tomorow, a code 13, and my idle still needs work... I just found out on honda-tech I had some vacume lines mixed up at the purge valve and I think thats the problem with the idle and code 13! We will see tomorow.

no, it wasn't an easy out. the crank pulley had no holes in it so no chalking. had to drill a hole in it :disappoin i amazed we didn't wake the old people neighbors. :nono:

Hi everyone. New here and just realized this is a long ass thread! I am kind of confused. Is this a thread where you tell everyone what is wrong with your POS? Well anyways I will enlighten yall. I have an '89 Civic Si with a ZC Engine. POS car if you ask me. I need new tires, new dash, horn, radio, carpeting, seats, hydraulic lift things for my hatch, a paint job, and assorted other stuff. My car just seems to be getting worse off every day. Bought it with the original 16valve sohc engine, and it blew within two months of driving. About two weeks ago the inner retaining ring to my passenger axle broke and the whole axle looked like it exploded. Had major problems fixing that due to crappy parts in local stores.

Other than that my car is fine :evillol: . HAHAHA.

Ok, I need to take the new water pump and gasket I bought off and helie coil all the threads on the water pump.
Then i need to check that sensor that it keeps throwing a code for. I need yet more coolant and I still need to fix the idle.
I need to get more trany fluid and fix the leak were it apears the axle poped out some.
So after I acomplish all these things I will have a car that runs and I can drive around once again! :iceslolan
So lets recap:

Oil pump (At least I found the leak)

Idle (Still no clue but greg and I managed to at least get it to idle lower... it still fluxuates)

Code 13 (Begining to suspect that sensor as the problem, posably an improperly installed s-afc. I am going to look into that as well)

Transmition leak (I am going to fix that its easy)

This is not alot of shit... Its four simple problems that can be fixed and there is absolutley no reason for me to stress, the grass is green, the sky is blue, everything is buitifull and I am verry hapy with my car. :sunglasse

I went to try and fix my fucked up water pump to find that one of the bolts BROKE INSIDE THE BLOCK. NOW I got to drop the fucking motor and drill the mother fucker out, tap and heile coil all the holes... But fuck, I might as fucking well try and glue the bitch on with JB weld first and see if it leaks... If it leaks, is coming the fuck out and I am going to be fucking pissed.
