If I had that kind of money, I sure as hell wouldn't waste in on a Dodge truck...

$90,000 can put a nice down payment on a house as well as pay off our credit card balances, my financial aid and still leave me with enough to buy a turbo-ed crx in nice shape and/or mod our cars...

That is true... I'm always dreaming of like if I won the lottery, taxes were removed and my lump sum was the above mentioned total (It pains me to even type down a number equivalent to the salary earned for working over 3 years).

People are stupid... I've been reading drifting forums and there is so much of a hate to people "drifting" in ff cars. Whichever way you look at it, drifting is displacing the tire grip from the road in any car...

I left work Friday and stopped to get gas a few exits down the Interstate... getting back on the Interstate I oversteered and the car drifted and corrected itself on its own! I took the turn (pretty sharp) in 3rd at about 40mph and the car just drifted out and I didn't touch the brakes, ass drag with the hand brake or anything, I just steered with one hand, gasped as I wasn't in control, and then straightened back out put in 2nd and accelerated straight to get on the freeway. I think there are some marks left behind cuz I caught a glimpse yesterday on the way home. Freakin' herbie the turtle...

Tell me this, why do mofos have to feel it necessary to get in the far left lane with no signal in front of me when I'm going 10mph faster then they are? Oh and why the fuck don't they get out of the way when you flash them? They just slow down. It's crazy but I actually passed in the far right lane cuz nobody was in it. When it rains, all the dumb fucks come out of the woodwork to drive. Further on up on the freeway there was a sign of an accident. There were standstill spots and long straights that were clear and I drove about 5-10 miles before exiting and I didn't see any fucking accident. WTF?

Not that im taking sides but hes only stating his opinion. I dont think he means any harm by it? Not all of us have to like your car. If you can't take criticsm then dont post pics cause we all know that there will be some good and bad replies.

well i formated my hard drive...recovered from a fatal error after a week of trying to get it to come on...decided to format after i watched the 4th stage of initial d...well, the last 4 episodes were messed up and since i d/l eMuel my limewire stopped working, so i couldn't d/l the episodes again...well started formating my hard drive and realized something as i was reading my windows xp box...i had the upgrade and needed an operating system to already be on the computer to install it :( so now my computer is sitting with no operating system...called my dad and he's fedex'ing his windows xp professional :) ...make sure u know everything before you format your hard drive... and save your favorites, i forgot :(

Off topic... I just went to the gas station, and when I got back in my car some older guy (late 50's to mid 60's) started circling my car. I didn't think he was going to start sh*t with me or anything, it was just weird. I noticed he had a 7th gen 4dr, so I figured he was just checking out my car. But he walked up to my window and asked me what kind of car I had. I told him it was a '94 Civic hb, and waited for the insults to fly (same crap I have to deal with all the time by being a Civic driver). But he was really cool and said he really liked the style of my car, smiled and walked away. Guess it's just nice to see some appreciation for Honda's engineering for once instead of "oh you drive a Civic, why don't you go and buy a real car". This was in direct opposition to a short haired, big suv driving "c u next tuesday" who threw something at my car yesterday when I was at a stop light. It's moments like that when I wish I had a RWD car with a lot of power, so I could just swing my car around on a dime and follow the asshole. But I drive that same way every weekend, so I'm bound to see that bitch sometime soon. And when I do...tire iron to the windows :evillol:

Yeah that's true. I don't feel like dealing with the police at all (especially the crooked ass ones around my area). But if anyone ever throws something at my car and it does damage (even an egg), I'll take care of it in a more drastic way.

Asheville is only about an hour from me. It looks nice but I just can't reason spending that kind of money on 15 year old dpfi and vynil seats. If it had an engine swap (even an A6) and si seats I'd give it some thought...

Are you kidding? Around here everybody wants at least 3500 for a bone stock dx hatch. If you look on Autotrader people want like 8-10k for a 5th and 6th gen civics with a quarter million miles on them. I can buy 2 POS domestic trucks for the price of a 8-10 year old Honda around here. Would I though? Hell no.

i have been hella busy. i have been checking this place, just not repling as much. thought i would drop in to tell a funny....

rain finally let up. we alomst got the exterior painting of the shop done. still no sign up. our shop is in a parking lot where there are other shops, ours is the only building facing the street. a guy wanted keyless entry alarm in his eclipse. he needed to drop it off before we got there so jer told him to slide the keys under the door. the next day we get to the shop and there is no car, no keys. :dunno: oh well. so we go run errands. 3-4 hrs later we get a call from the detail shop in the building behind us. apparently he didn't see the big detail sign on their building or the sign on the door. i guess they do drop off's all the time, no questions asked. the detail shop wasn't happy because they have to pay their guy for doing the job however, they weren't asking us to pay because it wasn't our fault. so homeboy's mess up got him a full detail...engine bay, rims, wax & buff..... :grinno:

That's pretty good. I noticed on the national weather how it just kept on raining in Oregon... weird! Yeah, I think that's a bit steep for a "show car" with a ZC. I'd like to build up mine but I don't have a garage or another commuter car. I've got symptoms that need to be addressed but since it's my beater/commuter I just keep on beating/commuting with it...
