My friend told me he was running a turbo in his civic. I asked to see it the other day, and he gave me a big spiel about how he had it out and in his trunk with some tools and it got stolen. I thought it sounded like he was bluffing. I asked him more about it, and he said it was a turbo from a Swan's truck. I asked him how many PSI he was running at and he acted unsure, so I kept asking him, and then he was like "ummm a couple hundred..." lol I knew it was nothing but bullshit :) and I told him that and he admitted it. lol
hmm... I need meself one of those there two-hundred PSI turbos!! It's always fun watching your engine blow into smitheereens as it's pumped full of the pressure you'd find in a steam boiler. lol

Um, can you point out the part I need to re-read? It says do not ask for personal information, including but not limited to your name and age. It also goes on to state that threads that ask you submit that information (such as a thread about on lets say "real name and age") will be deleted. So could you please tell me what part I'm not reading?

okay check it out, have you been by your profile? there are fields for your name, zip code, occupation, and so on....should you choose to fill in that info
it's not bad to start a thread and post age name as in "my name is dave, i'm 24"
it is more applied to the example "thnx man, can you ship it to 123 Fake St?" it is also applied for the younger and possibly less wiser crowd.

Random Thought of the Day - Why is it that people refer to the B18a and b18b as the LS. Wouldn't it make more sense to call it the GS? Seeing as how there is the GS-R engine, which would be more like the GS-Racing. Though they didn't make the GS from '94-'96

I upgraded my short-ram WAI setup deally today. I had cold air lines running up to it, but today I enclosed it in a sheet metal cold-air box. I think it's workin a little better, and it sounds a helluvalot meaner! :) I would highly reccomend to anyone that has a WAI / short-ram setup to make a cold air box out of some sheet metal. It helps protect the filter from heat soak, and echoes the intake sound to sound meaner.

Another reason why Ford products suck. My friend's dad had to replace the intake manifold on his crown victoria (4.6L v-8) because it cracked. Why did it crack? Because it's made out of plastic. The TB and some other fittings are cast metal but the actual manifold is plastic. So he replaces it and me and my friend are trying to help him put shit back together and we find that thermostat housing (on top front) doesn't even line up snug and comes without any gasket for the new generic POS and also plastic replacement manifold. For all the headaches, I'm sure his dad could have gotten an aftermarket IM. Now I'm worried though cuz my folk's got another Lincoln Towncar (which after a few days of ownership the CEL popped on and it was the dealer's private car).

last week i slammed my finger in our metal security door. man, it hurt so bad. there was a bump on my finger...figured it was swollen. a week later swelling has gone down and the bump is still there. yesterday while i was driving i felt it pop. i think it's back more in place because the bump went down some after the pop. i went and got one of those stupid finger splints. there isn't much you can do for broken fingers or toes.

Here's something I'm sure anyone who's in a band or has ever been in a band can relate to. (*Ready the waambulance*)
It's been 6 months since my band has played a show (and it was only 1 show at a little ghetto bar). So we've been screwing around for the past 6 months trying to lengthen out set list. Every week we say "ok let's get ready and start going to venues to try and book shows." We've recorded 2 demos, and both have come out sounding like ass for one reason or another. We make plans for shows, wait for the bookers of local clubs to let us know when they want us to play and they end up giving our slot to someone else. We're all sick or playing the same old songs week in and week out and just want to go out and play. So finally we've got enough songs to play almost 2 hours straight. Suddenly our singer gets a new job (cool for her, bad for us). So she has to work every day until 6 except thrus and fridays, when most of us have to work. So what does the "leader" of our band decide to do? He kicks her out of the band last week. He says that since we can't all practice together that we're not going to be able to go anywhere. And we end up discussing this for only 20 minutes before even trying to think of a way to work it out. But how the hell are we supposed to go anywhere when we don't even have a singer?! So not only do we have to find a singer, wait for the singer to learn our songs, but we have to throw out our demo and start all over again. Then I have to redo our website, throw out the Flash intro and menus and do it over again once we find a new singer. Am I just crazy or does anyone see this as a form of progress? I mean there were other problems with our singer; she never wrote any lyrics even though we were on her ass about it every week. And her vocals went down hill when she got too comfortable around us, there was just no feeling in the vocals like there used to be. But instead of bringing this to her attention, we just let her go. And to add insult to injury, we asked her to stay on as our manager to try to book us gigs. I was in a band previously with the guitarist, the "leader", so we both knew things were getting bad with us just practicing and not doing anything with it. Everyone just starts getting bored and miserable. I'm just fed up and needed to rant before I blow up...damn I need to find some pot :D

I posted the reply to that. It wasn't porno at all, just some kid trying to get people to go to his messageboard. But I let him know how mad I was that there was infact no porn. Still makes me mad, cause I love porn ;) But you got that message because one of the mods moved the thread to their secret board.
