Also it does NOT clean the injectors Via PCV or any other vacum line as they dont run through the fuel system directly.
Only way to do that is with an injection cleaning system that attaches to your shradder valve on the fuel rail.
It does clean the valves and plentum though.

And I hope no one adds a can to thier oil :yikes:

The can recomends 2-3 onces, and it can be ran 3-4k miles if you need it.
Remember our GA's call for 5w-30 anyway,
and most of us use 10w-30, so thinning it a little wont hurt.

I use seafoam most of the time, but I do use Lucas oil injection cleaner off and on in the tank.
I just try not to mix things like that :thumbsup:

It's about time they brought out the G6 GXP. I still don't care for the body kit or that pointless looking hood.... I'd prolly go with the body kit that GM offers as an extra skirting for the car or maybe the razzi. I see they put the chrome rims on it. They are sharp looking... but hard to find... I guess they are offering them too! The white is a nice color.... almost bought a white one if the dealer wasn't trying to rip me off... $500 a month... get real! :screwy: And they laughed at me saying it was impossible to get that car for less then that a month.. NOW WHO's LAUGHING! $230 a month.... :lol:

Oh noes my car didn't start this evening! I was like great what am I going to do... my security light was pissed at me so I started the security relearn procedure I did when I got my PCM... car finally started but really slowly. I'm also having electrical issues like my power locks aren't working, anything in my cigarette lighter will flash off and on randomly throughout the ride, my driver's side window doesn't work most of the time, and when my stereo is off I have a high pitched whine that adjusts pitch with my engine revs... I hope my car isnt dying :uhoh:

I'd prolly cry if it does, and I haven't cried since I was a teenager :(

But anyway if it does die, I might get a Grand Prix GTP... fun fast cars, SUPERCHARGED :lysuper: and relatively reliable. I might just do that in a year anyway... trade my car for a GTP. I'll get a WRX when I have a real job or something :boink:

It sounds like to me a grounding issue w/ the electrical :dunno:

as goes the car not starting I think it goes in hand w/ the electrical issue, you said ur security light came on? And you had to do the re-learn process in order to start it? :screwy:

Well I took the GA's in for estimates at a local stealership.
Took the GT in yestarday, with the newer trans they said its worth $3000, they'd give me $4k on tradein value.

Took the SE in this morning. First glance he said $3000 too, but then he looked under the hood and I told him all the stuff that was on it , he was impressed :D
Said it was worth $6500, he'd give me $7k on a trade in.

So if I traded both I could get around $11,000 , WOW ! ...... :naughty:

To bad they dont have any GTO's......
or I just might of had to sell out :lol:

Sorry to hear about the G/a Vipey... at least you got it started!!! Definetly check out your wiring make sure everything is secure. Hopefully you don't have too many key's on the key ring... Xi knows that one from experience :grinyes:.

Xi: Only $4000 for the GT? You could probably do better then that! Then again i guess there are a lot of factors. However that was an awesome price for the SE... Even though more would be better for the upgrades..... No G6 coupes... If your lucky you can find one with the 6 speed in it... I looked all over for one either new or used and couldn't find not even 1! If i ever run into some money ( A LOT) I'll consider a conversion from the auto to a 6 speed...

I though the GT was low since it has a 2003 trany and a few upgrades. @ 109000 miles.

The SE has $7-8k in mods so If it didnt have those it wouldnt be worth much either, also w/ 185k+ miles and still running strong! Plus monitors on the head rests and portable dvd, the custom interior.

If I was selling it out right I'd ask $9-10K then work from there ;)

I agree i feel the Gt is a little low... and only 109K thats not bad. When i traded My 02 in, It had about 90K on it and the gave me 8K for it... so no complaints here... But that's also cause i knew the car had problems... a couple grand worth to be honest... heheheheh.:lol: I did a car fax on my 02 recently... found out that it's in tennessee now.

The gas mizzers are hot right now... between people needing something economy... and it being back to school now and kids wanting something cheap and ricey. NOT that i'm helping this out, that i bought one... but I don't care about it! :grinno: You can make some good money on the little econoboxes right now though! That's the thought with ours... if we don't like it sell it for almost double.... hahahah :lol:

Yes location is a big factor.... like for me I live RIGHT next to a city that at one point was rated top in theft in the nation for car theft!... so value of your car can be change from one car to the next. I also wouldn't want to know what was done to my 6 before i got it... being a rental fleet as well I can only image though...:shakehead

The girlfriend so far is enjoying herself so far. She started work on tuesday and is enjoying every minute of it. Right now our little gas mizzer is still in baltimore... since it cant be shipped until we get the title of the car... AND WE ALL KNOW HOW FAST THE DMV can be! OH joy!!!:banghead:

If anyone wants to save on gas... come out here on the east coast... This morning i paid 2.45 a gallon for reg. That was cheap.. but by no means the cheapest i could get... I think i could get as low as 2.40 a gallon. :iceslolan Either way you look at it... it takes a strain on the less then full wallet...

I just got my car appraised and test drove a GTP hellz yeah... my car trade in is like... $1000 or less because of the miles :( So not GTP for me. I'll just keep my GA forever and buy a GTO for summer driving woooot :boink:

Well by looking at the damage its probly getting totaled by my insurance...

The real problem is that the whole subframe got pushed back and up,
the doors now catch the fenders when opening.
Most damage was under the car.

Ripped My CAI out... that metal piece is the front air dam that bent up under the drivers wheel/axle... :banghead:

Lost my aluminum crank pulley, I suspect it broke when the engine mount broke.
ALso broke the power steering pump pulley, the idler arn/pulley and the rear billet trans mount :eek7:

I probly could have sped up and avoided this, but it was split second I hit the brakes then the ditch. I was probly only going(sliding) 30-40 when I hit the muddy road side.

I'm not a big advocate for suing everyone for everything but that's property damage due to being a stupid fuck, so you should be able to sue or make them pay for damages or soemthing... then you can get a GTO or something (and sell me some of your engine parts!)

It doesn't take much to knock the motor back on these g/a's? My engine got knocked back when i had my accident with my 02. Although my car wasn't even driveable.. not forward or backyards, and no turning... But that's what you get when you snap the axle like a twig. Hope all went well with the claim adjuster.

Things went well today.

Working on getting it tore down and costs to fix.
I'll fax that over to the adjusters office later this week.
I have to work this in somehow :grinyes:

I just got real mad at work a few minutes ago (more then the usual)... so I stabbed my pencil on my desk about 4 or 5 times.:cya::newburn: I come back to look at my pencil to see that i have stabbed so hard that i pushed the lead out the other end knocked the tiny bit of eraser out and managed to shred the metal in half.:eek7: I then thought OH GOD i must have sliced my thumb open.... Well I got the estimate work up done on the SE this morning..... $2520 .

Its going to take about 2-3 weeks to finish though.
I have to practicly take the car apart .
Everything off the front from the firewall to the bumper.
Mainly to inspect and measure every mm, I dont want anything not 110%(if thats possible for a GA).

Plus working it into real work weeks :sly:

Well I'm very haoppy to say, that i just found out that GM has made a new radio head unit for the G6 that accomodates the aux mp3 input jack! YAY! It's available for the 2008 models.. but from what i found out will work in my year! :grinyes: I can't wait to find out about it and see it in person! No more crappy fm transmitter that doesn't work.
