Sounds like you need struts... or a good allignment.
As long as the front bumper is all intact, you shouldnt get much floating,
except for maybe in the rear end.
Now that can slide around at highspeed if you turn to fast. Remember Slow and Smooth ! :D

yea xi, all my stuff is still OEM from the factory, lol I havent done any suspension mods to my GA at all lol.. the front bumper has taken it's small hits but nothing bad, still in place... and yea the rear is very light... now even lighter since I took out the back seats and spare tire and stuff.... it just wants to swing but the rear strut helps... great for going straight though

still also on stock rims but with good street tires... my brakes need to be redone, they dont stop nearly as good as any other car... I drive with caution everywhere lol... only thing fun is wet roads and or going icing lol.. that was a fun day... my car got VERY dirty and covered with ice lol

I did find out another one of GM's lovely design ideas... But apparently when the dealer or any garage puts the car on the lift, the bars I'm guessing put pressure on the evap. tank which is plastic and can break. Knowing this info I had my car serviced now more then about 5 days before the Check Engine light came on... and my Evap pressure is all messed up causing the light to be on..... So I think i have to crawl under my car and check this out now... Oh joy!!

If you put gel in make sure you get plenty of height.... I got a good inch and a half going on right now... maybe a little more (keeps people i don't like away..... :cwm27: ). Just keep your head away from flames!!! :newburn:

dude started to talk to me like he knows it all, in a sarcastic way... so I had to poke em and tell him to put in his little notes that the rubber o-rings on the cold air intake are important, and that they should be handled with care and to not lose them, they are not replaceable.

so it's either something with the fuel system or ignition.. pfft :lol: DUH

I told em everything that I've done to the car in the past few months .. new fuel filter, new fuel pump assembly, new MSD coilpacks, new injectors on 3 & 4 and new o-rings on all the other injectors.

they're saying its fuel related because all the injectors are misfiring, and I asked em what inputs the coilpack module gets and one of them is thee crank sensor so dunno.... right now I let them install a new fuel filter to go thru their 'testing' but thats about it...

he says it might be the fuel regulator but he doubts it, he says on our cars they dont go out very often ... eh, either way its time to get an adjustable one :D

new fuel pump might be faulty, only getting 27psi ... the filter was clogged, that was new also :dunno: .. my car might of gotten some bad gas... they're saving it for me... they said they couldnt even blow air thru it hmmm..

Yea Gir sounds like what my SE did years ago.

Under GM warranty they replaced and injector here and one there over 5-6 visits and $50 each time :rolleyes:
Did not fix the problem though, and they wouldnt replace them all.
I replaced all 6 , then replaced the wiring harness for them and I havent had any misfires since on the SE.
Other then a plug wire loose :banghead:

Have that harness checked out :thumbsup:

Oh yea, the SE goes to Raytech this week to let them take it all apart to inspect those plates. I have about 4500 miles on it and they wanted to see it between 4000-5000 miles. They'll only have it a day or two and I cant complain, I got free performance clutches that have plenty of bite :D

Besides I don't want my transmission to exploderate. I wonder how hard it would be to install... and what parts I would need outside the M62...

I think my 'next' car is going to be my toy... something not as expensive to do 'custom' upgrades like our GA lol... its already breaking my wallet of nothing.

The filter was clogged and the brand new pump I got might of been faulty only pushing 27psi :dunno: exchanged the pump, they're putting in a new one and are going to call me back after they get a pressure test, hopefully soon... I have a job interview next week!

car update:

it works!, fuel filter was just heavily clogged (surprisingly... must of gotten some bad gas http://e.deviantart.com/emoticons/f/fart.gif), the new fuel pump I had bought had a kink in a line and it was only putting out the 27psi.

New filter, exhanged with new pump and installed... idle at 41psi and accel goes up to 44-45psi .. horay!

They drove my car -_-, I dont like it when other people drive my car. B/c of the stuff I have, ppl tend to mess around -_- grr. If somethin is going to break or be damaged, I wanna be the one doing it lol

I plan on doing an oil change now, new filter.
Service my transmission, new royal purple fluid, new filter and gasket
new spark plugs,
need to check my plug wires...
I remember when I installed them, the metal piece inside a boot slid out :eek:

...and lets just hope nothing got past the fuel filter into my fuel lines... altho I hear they block alot of material....

Gonna try and take it easy on the car I think... save some gas, be a grandma

car not fixed -_- , the 'main' problem was fixed with the clogged fuel filter... $384 just went to jerry's garage and I'm out of money

I called em back and said what the problem was, and that my aerotech is still picking up random misfire. they suggested it might be the ignition control piece under the coilpacks.... another $94 -_- or so.... on top of that. it could be any of the inputs going to that control mod .. crankshaft sensor or positioning sensor -_-

using my bday money now to fix

any input would help, they say that my sensors and everything are working just fine...

Ahhh... not fixed. Well good luck then with the remaining problems at hand. Tomorrow my car goes in to get all checked up and hopefully no more SES light.

During my complete bordum at work I found this article on concept cars, but the most curious of them all is the Buick Riviera (http://www.roadandtrack.com/article.asp?section_id=15&article_id=5223). Considering what they were back in the day until there demise in the 90's.... this is one car i would like to see in person. DAMN! This is what buick needs to get out of that "old" person feel and spice it up a notch.

Ok so the dealer called me... Oil change and brakes... Done no problem. Now My SES light... I had more then one code but only one showed up. I had my P0442 - Which comes out to be a computer programming glich so the car kept putting the code out but at the same time it wouldn't clear itself. This would explain why my dashhawk wouldn't clear it. On top of this the other code stored which i wasn't not recieving due to this lovely computer issue was a Misfire as well. :eek7: Which explains why the other day the car just had 0 power! I would stop on it WOT and it just wasn't going... no horsies out to play...:shakehead and i thought it was cause of the A/C was running.... Gah i hate electronics somedays. Hopefully later on I will have MORE horsies out to play...:evillol:

I wish it was brand new... It has 46K on it as of right now. the misfire I found out was due to a fouled fuel injector, so they are taking care of it for me right now. Plus some of this in the back of my mind was to be expected since I know how i beat up rentals:uhoh: ... and mine was a rental before i bought it...
