Saving up for stage 2 heads as well ;) Doubt I will get there by the end of the summer but I'm gonna try :D

pretty sure the vxr 500 uses the LS2 engine, vauxhall has their own supercharger.... wouldnt it be able to mount on our latest GTOs? :naughty:

id rather have the SC Vauxhall than our pontiac GTO lol, I like the look.... wonder if you could do body kits to get it like the monaro :D

oh btw, I have a hole in my pocket from all this money sitting around from saving for stageII heads... I think I just might grab the headers, P&P upper and lower intakes milled and TB matching 62mm, and a stageI N/A cam (depending if the supercharged Cam has more lift that'll work with stock heads) ... Thoughts on this?

Also, im about to rip out my back seats and everything in my trunk cept for rear strut bar and speakers lol... btw I did my rear strut bar... feels very tight in the back lol

Yeah my belt is kinda loud and I want to get that looked at... I can almost hear it over my engine! I think it's pretty new tho so there's no reason it should be worn out already... maybe it's just not lined up correctly. Regardless, it's not a trivial matter and I should get it fixed ASAP unless I want a metal salad under my hood lol :lol:

Has anyone had a problem with 2001 pontiac grand am cd player? it keeps saying check cd? i cleaned it out with a cleaning cd and it still does not work. its a factory cd radio. :shakehead Just cant figure it out! Any suggestions... what it could be? Thank you!

We have plenty of weed eaters out here in the east. SRT4's sound like all of the weed eaters though and are in bad shape dripping all over and putting out clouds of smoke... The best is when they slow down and start backfiring...!!! :lol:

On to repairs on need to get my G6 in for service... something isn't quite right in the front end. Since i got the car the front passenger wheel area sounded like something was loose... well i never paid full attention to it... well now it's worse and my steering is making noise.... I guess i will be bringing it in to find out whats wrong.

I feel like absolute crap today... on my friggen day off.... :sleeping: :puke: I took some allergy crap... hopefully that will help.

Yea grfnkl, it was , I think it was a maintenance issue being performed.

I was able to check out AF at like 3-4am sunday morning then by 8 am it was not working. I finally got on around 3pm :dunno: At least its fixed :D

in turn, buying S&S Headers, MMS P&P Upper/lower intake, MMS Stage1 cam, MMS Pushrods.

Good little package if you ask me, got the intake and headers that'll work with the new cam, and lighter pushrods to get those revs up. Ill be happy after everything is installed for a good while.

I wanna see how XI's tranny build goes first and that might be my next project as well. That or actually start on appearance on the grand am lol.. its dirty, paint chips/small dings... paint coming off on the rear bumper... gotta fix all the windows lol or maybe just the front 2.... Im about to rip out the rear/trunk interior lol, ill make my car a coupe and unhook the door's power locks so when I lock/unlock they wont move at all and stay locked in the back.... no door panels back there or anything lol

open trunk will prob make my music sound weird... but ill def be able to hear my exhaust louder... I remember I removed the rear seat because something smelled and I replaced the foam under the seat with brand new carpet foam and used sound dampening sheets w/ duct tape and did a clean setup on that

watching this race at the moment.... that gxp.r is kickin some butt in first lol, 2nd place is another gxp.r from a different team lol

totally thinking about just doing exterior work for now, as a nice looking grand am is wayyy more reliable than a beefy engine with stock tranny grand am ;)

I feel my Trans build should hold up good,
though no matter what I do it wont handle much more then 240lf lbs of torque,

thats just how they are built..... cheap!

Plus it's nice ot have the extended warranty so I don't have to worry about it. I think thursday is the day I'm aiming for to bring the car in. So by friday i should know what was wrong.

I was pretty beat up, had a broken left humerus right on the ball of the socket.
Oh and the steering wheel imprint on my chest for three months. Took me almost 2 years before I could use my left arm... that sucked!
Was out cold for over 40 hrs and then spent 2 more days in ICU. Went home after 9-10 days... (feeling like I was ran over by a truck!)

AS you can see though, the GA holded up well even after a doxen rolls through a field :thumbsup:

It wasnt your typical 3.3.... it was bored way the hell over sleaved changed the crank and cam, Revampted the heads and intake. Pulled over 400hp with the turbo @ 12psi.

Speaking of turboed g/as I found a 2.0l turbo g/a on ebay the other day... I so wanted... but it's up in canada i have no place for it and it has "some problems" Such as the turbo won't boost any more and a few other issues.

edit: Ok i just got "the call" from the stealership. The G6 needs a new power steering pump ( i caught that one early since it only just started to make noise a day or two ago) and new tie rods end for both sides. Apparently a very common problem for the G6... And as usual they tried to sell me new brakes, and a fuel injection service... Thanks but No Thanks!

well on the sixth attempt I finally got logged in! Wohoo!

I'm definetly glad i got that warranty... it was worth the $1800 i paid for it! I think it came close to paying for itself this time around. Plus since day one i knew something was a skew in the front end... i figured i would wait it out and see.... well i did! Meanwhile, the dealer gave me a free rental... This is the first time they have ever done this. Well I have my awesome luck when it comes to renting... cuz i get the free upgrade. I got a 2007 Chevy Suburban! Talk about driving a beast! GAH DAMN! Since none of you never have met me in person nor seen a pic of me. I'm a mere 5ft 10, about 135 lbs. So needless to say i'm not some big guy. I must look like some freaking midget driving this thing. I'll have to empty my wallet ot fill this thing up though when i bring it back!

oh god dude no i dont remember anything after getting home. went to a bar... $1.50 well drinks, so I ordered 3 rum and cokes and two "adult shirley temples"
Then we played the card game "connections" which involves more beer than I can fit in my stomach... I probably drank for about 50 seconds during the game and by the end of the game I was still 76 seconds behind... which yes I did eventually finish.
Then we went to another bar but I can't really remember anything of it except it was crowded, big, had a big dance floor that was actually playing music that I could dance to (namely, ballroom music since i'm a ballroom dancer. I could have done a cha cha had I been able to walk in a straight line). Dear god I hope I didnt dance at least... we'll see rofl
Then I magically got home somehow and magically started posting everywhere. I think someone in a cavalier brought me home with an aftermarket exhaust and I probably said something stupid about my car too lol.

Oh damn how did he know where I lived? I doubt I would have even been able to get him home LOL... come to think of it, I can't even remember who the guy was that brought me home...

So yeah, my friend's 25th birthday last night so we had fun. I can't believe I'm at work right now lol...

Yeah I don't know where all those numbers came from that I typed... that's not even anywhere near the letters. Maybe I was trying to type words and had my hands on the wrong keys and missed the backspace button a lot...

oh I checked voicemails last night too, but I dont remember that either. I should probably check if I still have any or something. My fear would be what stupid actions did I do before i got home on the computer or passed out. You know that feeling you wake up the next day and people that you saw the day before give you "the LOOK" :sly:. At that point a faint memory comes to mind of you piss drunk singing on a raft in the middle of a lake having an arguement over shooting stars and satelites... Oh wait that's one of my memories. hahahah

I'd have to say my worst was the first time I ever really drank a lot (I was 20.5 yrs old... woops lol). I believe I called my parents. THAT is a bad idea haha.

I never drank a lot after that till I turned 21 a few months later :P Since then I've had a few interesting experiences, but not a lot. I don't want to wind up an alcoholic (it runs on both sides of the family, and since I have Native American in me I'm even more prone... so I try to stay careful!). Only a couple people on both sides drink a lot so I'm prolly fine but still lol. :lol2:

Hmmm.....I would say that the worst i ever drank was at the age of 19... not sure how i made it up those stairs back to my hotel room.... hmmm....:uhoh: BUT that was during a school trip to Italy... and a lot of stories came out from there. For instance International Drunk dialing. Oh yeah... if you are gonna do a drunken phone call might as well pay for it internationally!!! LMAO... I know i did! :iceslolan

It's a good thing that you are being careful with drinking knowing the family history. There's no "official" history of alcoholism in my family... BUT we do have the few more then occasional drinkers oh yeah... BTW it doesn't help coming from a German and Italian Heritage.... they love to drink!

grab a universal HKS fuel pump from AAS and boost up ur fuel pressure, next get bigger 36lbs injectors from MMS and then go ahead and grab that adjustable fuel pressure kit pfyc.com might have and rig up a gauge for the pressure, make it all customizable lol, waste some gas in the process

if you can, find some steel braided fuel lines that look all pretty and wont bust over stock lol :naughty:
