Well the shop you took it too should have solvents or gas to clean out the tank.

Most of the FP is plastic inside so not sure where the metal came from.. Plus the strainer on the FP has super tiny holes that nothing solid can get through it.
Maybe from insde the fuel lines or an older nasty fuel filter got rust inside.

btw here is a thread where I was askin about how to make those hinges.... also all these part had to be cut with an exacto knife , my fingers kill!!! :eek7:

yea the bits of metal are microscopic, its a real fine grit of metal, sorta rust colored but my other fuel filter was SUPAR clogged, and a fair amount was in the injectors.. its very very fine bits of magnetic metal :dunno:

the guy showed me on a cloth, it was so small. looked like just a stain till he started to move a magnet around it and it picked it mostly all up...

the weather over here on the east cost is awesome! Yesterday mid 80's today around 90. Low humidity... perfect day for the beach! Hmmm... I think i may have to make that happen!!! :grinyes:

Yesterday I get a call from my girl... her mother's car got nailed parked in a parking lot. :disappoin This car has about the same luck my g/a had. It's gotten hit in the same spot 3 times already. About every 4-5 years.... BAM! Whoever did it wasn't going slow. Her 95 Honda accord, has the fender smashed in, front lights broken, bumper creased and partially ripped off. With red paint all over. I could only imagine how bad the other car is. If i'm able to get a pic I'll post one.

Weathers been pretty good up here too.

Xi: yes it's a lot of fender benders for one spot there maybe more we don't know about. The car drives straight ( or at least for a honda) but the headlights are no where near straight. It's lighting up the ground one foot in front of the car...

Hey vipey since you are fortunet enough not to have your car hit yet... I think we can arrange something out here in Jersey for ya. Just bring your car over for about a week. You'll leave with some type of damage. :grinyes: A ding, scratch, scrape maybe a dent or two. If your really lucky you'll find a chunk of your car missing if not the whole thing :uhoh: !

We had some wicked storms come rolling through yesterday..... and now today it's a warm 65 degrees at 11 am! with a lovely high in the 70's! I swear it looks like the trees are starting to change colors.... or they are just plain dying from all this crazy weather.

Last night me and my girl bought a car together... our little don't care about econo-box. We bought a 97 honda civic LX with a little over 70K miles on it. Overall in pretty good shape, just needs a few very minor things... that i could care less about but that she wants taken care of, like a molding that's missing off the car. I better get going...we're going to pick it up in a little bit....

venting time! My friend totally asked the puerto rican chick (Sara... easier to type) to be his dance partner. She said she'd be honored. She hasn't even joined the club yet. Essentially what my friend did was took her first name, entered it into Facebook, and searched all the Sara's until he found her. That's crazy! So he found her and asked her to be friend, she accepted, he talked to her and asked her to be his dance partner and she said yes. WTF!!!!!!!! That would creep the hell out of me and not work in a million years (probably)... he likes her too, and so does one of my other friends, and I'm getting fooking tired of being single (it's been like about a year since I've been "informally single" and about a year and a half since I've been "informally single"). I don't want to compete with my friends.

This fooking SUCKS!!!! Ruins my entire weekend :(

It was probly the mix of stuff you drank more then the whiskey.
Though, whiskey is rough on your guts either way.

Mixing things like that usually always gives me a hangover.

hahaha gir the first time i ever drank a lot was the last time i've ever thrown up from drinking. I didn't even throw up July 4th and that was the msot I ever drank (I think). Whiskey does it to ya... stay awayyyyy from whiskey! I'm never drinking Jack again haha :p

I've thrown up ONCE in the past 7-8 years or so, and it was from alcohol :p

When I used to drink everyday I would drink 7-8 beers(or 7-8 shots) then go out to the bar and drink more :bloated:

It gets old fast!!!

For all the times I've gotten myself trashed I have never once either puked or had a hangover the next morning... Close on the puking part... but never had a problem. I'm one of the "lucky" few or just odd... :screwy:. Yesterday me and my girl got ourselves a little "relaxed" after a few drinks... but we sort of had to.... Families were meeting for the first time... Her's to mine and Mine to other parts of mine that don't speak... SO yeah VERY VERY stressful day yesterday! But all in all in the end it was all good... Money and Presents! :naughty: YAY!
