Event put on by Hot Rod magazine. Pretty cool concept, 5 days, 5 different drag race tracks, over 1000 miles of driving between events (total). You have to drive what you race from the race to the next event, race, drive to the next, etc. You can not have a support truck. your allowed to tow a trailer behind your drag car to carry parts/tools if you want though, but no support vehicles and your car cant be trailered to the next event.

And they have some cars running mid 6's, making 2500+ hp. And being driven event to event.

Just as bad when I hear all the dip shits around here who claim to run "stock block" cars, but then they say they have aftermarket cams. They're like, "I'm just running a stock block to get all this power. The Crower cams help a lot though."

Yes the term street legal is subjective- every car in drag week is registered, plated, insured, AND THEY DRIVE THEM OVER 1000 MILES BETWEEN EVENTS. They have also been doing this for over 10 years, without ever having a car impounded for cited for anything other than speeding. If they are so illegal don't you think somewhere in the collective millions of miles that have been driven someone would have gotten picked off by highway or local cops? They had the marked for $60 (with the biggest battery) but I got her to do $40 and throw in two vials of e-juice. The juice she threw in is "vapor jam" brand, and sells for $6 per... I'm guesing its about an ounce? I got "head rush" flavor which is like a mixed berry/melon and blood orange, both are good but the blood orange is a little harsh if I have my wattage turned up.

The amount of vapor it produces is pretty impressive in my opinion. Not as much as the big "mod" ones that you see people doing massive vapor hits and tricks with, but for a pre made out of the box deal I think its pretty sweet.

Now earlier I visited a vape specialty shop and they had a huge selection of flavors and had it set up to where you could try them out before buying, which was nice. I got two bottles (guessing two ounce) of Mr Good Vape brand juice in Bahama Mama and Honey Baby, the second one is very very good flavor, and these were a little higher at $15 a bottle, but its a bigger bottle and the flavor is much stronger than the head shop brand.

Battery life on this thing is really good, I fuck with it all day long and it lasts most of the day, and recharges in about 20 minutes.

So I've finally hit rock bottom. I've spent the past 9 months or so doing little else but drinking beer, playing video games, and fixing stuff around the house. Worked on a few cars, but mostly just little shit like brakes and brake lines, rather than heavy labor (like pulling & building engines, swapping transmission & transfer cases on AWD cars). Today I'm finally paying the price. I've lost all the muscles I use to have, from being a lazy bitch.

Saturday a brake line popped on my dad's van; 1 line right in the center of the drivers side, that we cut out the bad section and flared a new line in there. Spent a couple hours on my back and on my sides, under the van. All I really did was lift the 1lb (or so) flaring tool and tighten it down over and over. Woke up at 5am this morning immediately had to stop myself from blowing chunks. My right arm was throbbing in pain... from actually using my muscles. Not over extending them, just using from them.

So until the snow starts falling, I'm going to get off my ass and get active. Going to cut down on the beer and soda intake, try to lose some weight, and start lifting dumbells and doing pushup to get into shape (during the winter too of course).

I've still got my Atmos for wax/oil but I don't use it all that often. Its nice for covert while driving or such. Its pretty acceptable to just smoke a joint while walking down the road though.

Im so curious to see what the penalty is for smoking a J while driving. If possession is decriminalized in Chicago (a ticket for possession of less than 20g) then whats the drill if/when you get caught shmoking the chiib in traffic?

I figure they would want to hit you with DWI but is there a test for that??

They'd definitely get you for DWI or DUI. I believe they do some of the same tests for drunk driving (walking the line, lifting leg/head back/touch nose), and apparently pupils react a specific way to light, when it's flashed at them. But that's all what I've seen from watching Cops. But damn, I forget it's not decriminalized everywhere. I got "busted" for having a joint before, but all they did was smashing it on the ground, and tell me to go home.

In Washington and Oregon its DUI, there was a big awareness campaine when Washington legalized it. And spoon is right, its a roadside sobriety type test because as of current there is no breathalyzer type device for weed or any agreed upon "legal limit" of thc.

Oh an apparently total legalization is on the ballet again this year for Oregon, I wasn't expecting it to show up until next year, usually they don't push it for mid term elections because less people vote. I'm still pursuing medical. I had to have two doctor appointments for back pain before I could apply, have to make one more appointment at the doc, go to a specialist weed doctor that pushes the paperwork, then I register with the state, pay a licensing fee of like $200 for two years, then I can go to dispensaries here.

lol, that's actually a well made craft beer... unfortunately they put enough ingredients in it for 5 beers instead of 1. There are three beers on that wall that got a drain pour either right away or after a few drinks.

Calapooia Chili Beer- was like drinking liquid fire. Good taste, but I could not finish more than half. Never been able to find it again, would love to cook with some.

The third and by far one of the most vile liquids to ever touch my mouth- Old Superior Ale- Beer With Me! .... this is the worst beer ever made, and at 15% *fortified* ABV. A coworker was trying to get into craft beer, and the person at the store thought they would have a chuckle... Pretty sure that's what happened.

Im fine with IPAs, but my favorite beer of the moment is Zombie Dust which the internet just told me is an APA. Only beers I tend to stay away from are really light wheat beers. I end up drinking a ton of em and then my head gets all swimmy like I smoked 10 cigarettes
