Well, just gave my paycheck to sears, in exchange for a sweet new tool set (all my old stuff is in Texas... and I think its been dismantled and distributed though out the last 6 years since I left it). Figured before I get back into cars I should have the means to work on them.

I have to say, I'm usually weary of new fangled tools, but I picked up a full set of the Craftsman Max Axcess ratchet/socket set (the real metric/std ones, not the "universal" spline ones) and I have to say, I really like it. No real world endurance tests yet, we will see how they hold up, but the pass through design is well made.


Also got full sets of ratcheting wrenches, which I've wanted for years and never could afford. Now I just need something use them on... damnit.

So I've been drinking a little more liquor lately, to try and reduce my beer intake (and calorie intake). Been getting Captain Morgan Spiced Rum or Black Spiced Rum mostly, a bottle of shit Black Velvet Canadian whiskey (cheap crap that goes down like water). I decided to try another cheap bottle tonight, and got some Evan Williams bourbon whiskey. One shot in, and I immediately remember that I can't stomach bourbon whiskey any more. Guess I'll be mixing it with Coke, rather than doing shots. Bummer.
