Seriously OT: Whoring Galore here in Part 4!

oh man.. theres sometimes this gas station around here that will run outta regular, so until the truck comes they sell premium at the price for reg.

I'm so sick of these freaking gas prices. I remember when I was a kid...
...every sign I'd pass would be around $.96-99 a gallon for regular. Even when I first started driving (back in '99) prices were only $1.19-1.29ish. This shit is ridiculous. Did I miss something here? I don't recall ever reading or hearing anything about an actual oil shortage anywhere, just the "fear" of a future oil shortage. So how the funk are oil companies allowed to jack up the prices so much, based only on fear??? Am I wrong?

I got a full tank for .30 once. I got a reciept for the full amount (like 34 bucks or somethin) and even after it cleared my account it was 30 cents..

It happened again 2 weeks later at the same station but they corrected it this time. My friend a day later also got his for 30 cents after the first time.

Haha. Nah, I knew they were gonna break and so did my friend..but it was 11 at night and we had a "screw it" attitude. Plus we wanted some new ratchets. The way I blocked the crank worked like a charm though, wish I had a pic. Once I got the right tools it came off. and now it has a new timing belt. However the one I took off scares the piss outta me. About 10 teethe right around the crank gear are totally ripped off the belt. When I bought it he said it needed a timing belt, I asked if he broke it. He said no, but that he had put a used one on so it needed a new one. The "used one" has a 6" gap on it lol. I hope it runs ok or im gonna be pissed.

of course it has a bike engine..

So I ordered a new set of front spring for my ground control setup. I was running with 7" ones in the rear and 6" in the front..only problem is that my car was slammed to the ground at max height. So I ordered some 12" springs from ground control, 70 bucks..and when it showed up all I have is one damn spring. Apparently when they say springs, they mean SPRING..so now I have to spend another 70~ bucks ordering another one before the 18th, the next autocross. I also plan to have my y8 in by then.

:lol: i did the same thing...ordered some green tires for my bike...with the euro conversion it turned out to be $90...well when it showed up it was just 1 tire :( so i ended up paying right at $200 for bicycle tires

Then again there are people who make projects and such using one spring like a mono-shock etc..but screw them, let them special order.

the reason they sell them individually is so people can mix & match spring rates....it's more for people who are overly serious about their racing.

the thing that always made me laugh is the companies like Reactive selling that way....LoL!

I wish my station would sell out of regular and sell premium for regular!!!! the opposite happens here. they run out of premium and your S.O.L.

I took some screnshoots of multiplayer with my cousins. It was all freeplay. I can play freeplay for hours. If you're still on the fence with this game, buy it.

Think my computer is taking a crap again :( Can't open windows media player, can't run ad-aware SE, can't run spy-bot search & destroy, barely downloaded the new version of AVG anti-virus (took an hour and 4-5 tries), can't burn CD's anymore, and firefox is taking forever to load (when it decides that my internet connection is there :eek7:). So I'm probably going to take the big plunge and dual boot this mo' fo' with a fresh install of win xp and...Ubuntu Linux. Most of the programs I use on my computer have a free alternative on ubuntu anyways (don't need windows to watch porn j/k :lol2: oh wait, no I'm not). When I save up some $, I'm going to build a better one and use this computer as a PVR anyways, so I'll need to get use to ubuntu anyways. I just don't get why I have so many freaking problems with computers. Everyone else I know doesn't take care of their computers (they barely even run anti-virus programs), but I'M the one who has to reformat every couple months; how f'd up is that! Ok, I'm done complaining now... (or maybe I should say FOR now.)

Running pirated vista ultimate and I havent had to touch it yet... funny eh. I used to redo xp every few months.

I have both on a 4gb flashdrive (just barely) if I ever need to do a quick emergency 10min install lol. On flash memory it really does only take that long.

I have a legi t version of Vista Home Pro or something... i love it, havent had to touch it.

well sold my bike on craigslist...sold it for $150...one guy offered me $200 but i had to turn it down b/c the guy i was holding it for was on his way over...sure i could have told the guy someone offered more $$$ and unless he wanted it make the same offer, but sometimes it's more than about the $$$

As will I. The real cost of my build is in the engine, and tuning. The actual kit will be but a small part of it all.

Oiy... got a dizzy from a friend for 15 bucks..but it was all taken apart. Spent the night with what amounted to a 3d jigsaw puzzle. Finally got it all together. Couldnt figure out why the plate in the middle wouldnt just slide onto the rotor shaft.

But... thats the last step I need to get my new engine into the car. Im hoping on sometime this week or early next.

bah, still trying the sell our turbo civic. thinking about pulling off the turbo as the y8 is built....something like 130-138whp when it was dyno tuned back in the day.

I just want it gone so we can move on already.

Well after 3 consecutive days off (I love my job) boredom got the best of me and I started looking to my car..and thats never a good thing.

I forgot to mention that 2 days ago I installed a prelude Master cyl and finally got around to putting in the 4040 prop valve. Night and day diff in braking.

Anyway, back from sidetracked... so I sat there and went. ok its been to long. I have to do something with the paint.

and this is where I left off about 20 mins ago. Tomorrow is filler for the crease next to the emblem and small dings. Then im gonna paint it jet black. I plan to do the roof as well since those are the only bad parts of the paint, and im cheap.

Eventually Ill get the whole car painted rio red again but for now its a facelift.

I do have a little poll though. To shave, or not to shave? That, is the question.
