lol.. Someone told me that the 88-89 CRX Si came stock w/ projector lights... is that true? Cuz if it is, I know where there are a couple sitting and the headlights fit perfectly, brackets and all, right into my Sedan.

Does the Oddesy even have projectors now??? I know the Pilot has halogen projectors. The S2k of course has HID projectors. The 8 gen Accords have halogen projectors. The 6th gen Accord has HID projectors... at least one does :wink:

I hate christmas shopping. My toes are killing me, my leg is killing me, and my arms are sore. They're expanding the mall, and trying to make it one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) mall in the U.S. I for one will be shopping at one of the other 2 smaller malls during the holiday season, when it's finished.

I hate going to the mall on a regular weekend. I absolutely can't stand to hit the mall between Thanksgiving and Christmas.


Anybody else planning on hitting Best Buy or eBay for all the unwanted gifts that will hit the market after New Years?

Went xmas shopping last week, had two of my girls with me, one in the little seat in the trolley (shopping cart), one standing in it, and me pushing that full of gifts and kids with one arm, and a decorative bamboo stand for my wife under my other arm and was amazed at how many people just push in front of you etc when it's obvious I can't exactly get out of their way!

Holiday shoppers are ruthless. Two years ago Christmas time, I had my friend's two little girls with me at Walmart and the 2 yr old dropped her book. As I was struggling to control her, the cart, and pick up the book, another shopper damn near rolled her cart into me and then reached over me to grab something off the shelf. I briefly considered murder... but not in front of the kids

I don't briefly consider yelling, screaming, and or beating someone up in front of kids.. they're going to learn it some day anyway... if someone did that to me, I'd just follow them around the store being an inconsiderate prick for the remainder of their shopping trip.

I once followed someone to another store, just to take the only parking place right before they got into it, just b/c they cut me off at another store's parking lot.

meh, i just wait until they go inside and unscrew their valve stem core... then keep them.. so they cant fill the tires until they get new valve stems

Lol.. I keep a few extra stems and cores just for that reason.. I used to live in an area where ppl thought it was funny to pull them out, plus, I've had them work loose and blow out on the road, so I keep a few spares in a small plastic box in the trunk, along w/ fuses and the smaller lights for the car.

Well it wouldnt matter because im getting new wheels on saturday. But damn..I can hear it when I go over 40 because of the flex on the stem..and it slowly leaks when it sits.

use steel/brass stems ftw.. seriously, you can hit those things w/ a hammer, and they don't break, plus, there isn't as much rubber to break/crack/fuck up, and they're only 7 bucks a piece @ Sears... they BOLT IN to the rim.

Just ask for High Pressure Steel stems.

anyway, get some High pressure Steel stems from sears, they're about $7 each, but they bolt in/out, and you never have to replace them, b/c they'll never break.

both the JDM & USDM teg's have projectors, however both versions are very different...especially when you're talking +98 JDM ITR :naughty:

the Legend has halogen projectors as early as 91.

i'm friggin sick. last thurs we went to the PTA (boosters) meeting and 1 of the moms showed up with her kid she said was puking all day. the next day I hosted a cookie decorating party at my house. the same mom shows up without the sick kid but better yet....ducks out early telling me she's been sicker than a dog all day....

When I still had my CRX I decided that if I was keeping it I was going to do an odyssey headlight conversion. They're rather tidy.

On another note, my wife and I have decided it's country moving time. :D We're looking at America or England. Will most likely be England because of my dual Brit/Aussie passports. But my wifes first choice is USA.

Don't move to the USA, we're all assholes here. Canada would be a much better choice, unless it's one of those French-Canadian providences (they're even bigger assholes).

yes reguarding the 91-95 Legend. i'm pretty sure when it turned into the RL (here in USA land) it retained the projectors.

My wife did studies, research etc. We never thought we could apply for canadian citizenship but apparently we can both apply due to jobs, with high results! YAY!!!!!!!

so i've just come back from visiting my boy, whom I haven't seen in 2 years.. that was a thrill... I tell ya.. I pull into the gas station, where he's supposed to come so we can follow him home... he pulls in in a slammed S10 w/ a 4.3L 5spd...damn. Later that night, I find out that he's put almost 10k into that truck since he got it, and its' only half paid off.. he's taking the dealer to court, b/c they soooo ripped him off... but he won't \WON'T/ take the truck back to them... he'd rather keep putting the money into it, b.c he utterly loves his "twuck".. lmao.

In all honesty, it IS a pretty sweet ride tho.

It's a 97, Ichiban steering wheel, bone stock interior w/ 3A racing Seats, dropped on struts to 5" @ the rockers. (no bags)(one of the things he's pissed about, they were supposed to bag the truck after he paid for it, and they haven't yet.)

Metallic Blue, w/ light blue metal flake in the clear, tonneau, "altezza" lights, but they're the real ones... not ebay crap, and they don't leak.

Since he got it, he's had to rebuild the front suspension,
replace the tranny, dealer paid for that, since it was in the "warranty"...
put new tires on it, new rims, fix the pass. side seat, change the ECU/Wiring harness, b/c whoever did the motor swap fscked it up, didn't do the grounds, etc.. so it fried the ECU and part of the harness.. but yeah, he's waiting till I move down here, so we can yank the motor and rebuild it, then work on the rest of the twuck... in the mean time, i'll be looking for a $500 beater S10 or Mazda B2200... but I want an '88 if it's a Mazda (5spd models of B2200 Came w/ LSD rear.)

and tryin to find him a cheap 'bag kit for it.

ugggg. For the past 3 days, I haven't had power in my bed room (the 2 rooms in the basement don't count). Went X-mas shopping Saturday night, only to find nothing on in my room; I left the light on, my clock radio & VCR are always lit up. I had to ask my parents if it was some kind of joke, but it wasn't. My dad flipped the rest button on the surge protector thingy on the bathroom outlet, and everything came back on immediately. 15 minutes later, everything went off again. So I helped my dad replace the outlet in the bathroom, nothing. Helped him replace a switch & an outlet in the basement bathroom, nothing. I finally unplugged my computer's surge protector from the wall (my dad thought that the wall outlet may have gotten paint in it years ago), and I immediately got power again. 11pm last night the power went out yet again, luckily I wrapped all the presents before they did. But this morning my dad unhooked an old ass outlet in the basement, that was attached to the wall (not inside it). So now I have power, and I'm crossing my fingers that everything is fine now. If I have to deal with another night without my computer and TV, I'm going to be pissed.
