yeah, that's my standard week, actually... OT is nothng I'm unfamiliar with.. maybe not 60 hours each week, but 45-50 normally, and weekends always off... then there's other places, where I've put in 84 in a week... that's always fun too. 4 hours of it has to be dbl time legally :D
Unfortunately, no time to spend it when you do that tho...

What is that, like 22-27k/year, something like that...
And that's just to live "normally".. still watching bills, rounding all your trips into one, etc.. that's not including extra stuff, like after-school activities for the kids, going out to eat once in awhile, somewhere other than denny's... ya know.. that stuff we all love to do, but can't afford.

i wanna say my base pay is like 1600, so x 12 months, is 19,200. then 150 extra a month for my orders= 21000, plus food allowance= 24300, then after all the taxes, through the year, comes out to not shit. after the bills i usaully have 100 after everycheck, but i use that for gas, and smokes
Christ
12-16-2007, 03:35 PM
I make 9.50/hr... I usually get about 310 a week after taxes, and that gives me enough money to cover the bills, and have about $20 a week... after gas and all... I have 0 dependants on my W4 though, so I get more taxes taken out... I'll re-file that part this year and claim 1 for my wife, so I have less taxes taken out, I just won't get as much of a refund at the end of the year.

I'm only getting about 23-24 mpg average from my Civic
that means I spend about $35 a week in gas @ $3.21/gallon ($3.209/gallon... damn 9/10)
it's pretty rediculous, actually, when the civic SHOULD be getting around 35-40 avg.
Here are some of the problems I'm facing right now: Gear ratios too high for torque/hp ranges, Cam/ignition timing is still off (changing back to B2 cam)... car still doesn't have the right throttle response... but that means cleaning sensors and such, and it's still much too cold out for that... and I need to change plugs/oil/wires etc.. and O2 sensor (still).
The solution for the gear ratios not lining up w/ the engine ranges will be solved when I build the D16A1 this spring.
Basically, I expect the engine to make peak tq @ less than 2400 RPM and peak HP at around 4500-5k, with a relatively flat torque curve, as the CRX HF (B6 engine) had (89 TQ @ 2100 RPM iirc) but I expect it to be ALOT higher than the HF was.

Well im the proud owner of rear disc brakes. Granted, they are not on the car yet and wont be till I get wheels that will actually fit over them, it will give me a chance to replace ALL of the bushings and rebuild the brakes themselves. Tomorrow Im going junkyarding for some DA knuckles so I can use my new axle that I got. And Ill have even bigger brakes up front. Damn tiny std hubs.

I have rear disc brakes too.. (not for my car) but they're hanging on the wall in my old bedroom at my dad's house, next to the other crank for my B2 engine, the cams for my other ZC engine, and a few random assorted parts.

Did you try sticking a pin in each hole? Did the motor stop working?
00accord44
12-17-2007, 09:43 PM
I tried pins a while ago when just the pass. side stopped spraying but that got me nothing. I removed one of the sections of tubing to give a shorter path to the pass side and that didn't really work.
Maybe it is the motor. I hope it isn't but thats really the only possible explanation other than clogged nozzles. However, when the drivers side was still working (this weekend) it was a strong spray but the pass. side got absolutely 0 :dunno:

Or maybe the lines are frozen, though you said you checked the lines. Did you check the lower line(s)? I'm not sure how the Accords are, but in my car, I can hear the motor running when I pull back on the lever.

have you tried replacing the sprayers yet?
If you don't wanna do that, hook a air line to the "nipple" on the sprayer, and pump about 20 PSI through it, just make sure you have something in front of the thing to catch the aerators when they blow out (They just press back in).
If that doesn't work, it may be the pump, but if you hear it running, then it's working... check the lines for frozen crap.. never hurts to check again.

I used to put 20% windex in my washer tank.. helps to keep the bug guts off the windshield in the summer.
Then I switched to industrial cleaner, which apparently had too much alcohol in it, b/c it destroyed the seals in the washer pump... SOOOOO... I replaced the washer pump, and started using windex again...

Today the drivers side nozzle came to life again in full force, but pass side is still dead. I'm stumped. I'm gonna flip flop the nozzles tomorrow and see what happens. I'm actually hoping the same nozzle continues to not work so that way I know I can just buy a new one and be done with it.

Do what I did, the pass side nozzle used to be single spray, so I whacked a dual spray in there, and they're pretty much universal, except the "integrated" designs... those won't fit, and you can tell if it will fit just by looking at it.
Most of the ones w/ the LEDs and anything w/ wiring will actually bolt-in, so you can adjust it until it sits flat, so that won't be a problem.
Those ones on eBay should fit, I mean, c'mon, they're only sprayers... it's not like they can "not fit right" :P
