I prefer pancake batter in the middle of a ball of sausage... then drop it in oil for a few mins to cook them both... eat with syrup... don't have pics, but they basically look like something QUITE unappealing... if you can get past that, they're great... like lil breakfast snack balls... plus, once it's cooked, you can freeze them, and nuke 'em later to eat for a snack.

we had our costume/ haunted house/ party action last night. maybe i'll post up some pics.

the craziest thing ever happened. it's 2:00 am, our friends just went to the spare room to sleep. i went upstairs to take off my make-up. jer & jon were downstairs wrapping up their video gaming. a light knock happens on the front door. then a louder knock i could hear upstairs. NO JOKE it's a little girl in a summer night gown bare foot & crying....it's like 20 degress out, if that. she starts talking about her mom told her to get out of the van and walk home and she got lost. :wtf: jer asks how old she is. 7. he asks if she knows her address. no. he asks if she knows her phone number. yes. FINALLY! we call up and they say they'll come get her. 35-45 mins later 2 ladies come walking up the street out of the dark. pick up the girl and then take off for home on foot. :screwy:

now i know most of us had A LOT to drink but i also know jer was 100% sober...he was just as confused about the whole thing as the rest of us. :uhoh:

Maybe the kid walked out of her house sleepwalking. My brother did that once and ended up down the street at his friends house. Funny thing was, he was sleeping on the floor while were all watching a football game. He gets up and walks to the back door, then out of it. We wait like 30 secs for him to come back then follow him out and hes NOWHERE to be seen. He literally must have run because he was gone.

depending on what house she knocked at, in this day and age she's lucky she made it home

she is very lucky she knocked on our door. she said she was looking for any house with lights on.

the woman who picked her up (don't know if it was her mom or what) said she was alseep in the van and was supposed to go inside...she somehow got lost.

:dunno: beats me about the whole thing, neither the girl or the woman's story made any sense

actually GTA you did miss some fun. you know what happens when we gather as a group and go somewhere...you also know what happens when we get home and start drinking

good job Brody! those are cool as it gets!

i'm glad we have good honda kharma!!

we get a call, guy says he got our number from the locally owned parts store we use. the guy is 50-60 yrs old, says he has a sandrail. they bolted in a b16 with a vw bus tranny and wanted to know if jer could come out an wire it up. we go out there to look at it and it's exactly as he described. he points over to a tranny and says "you want it, it's garbage to me....get it out of here." it's a b16 y1 tranny. sure, we'll take your "garbage off yor hands" he then points to the HASport mount still bolted to the tranny and says "there are more of those with it, you want that garbage too?" jer tells him what this stuff is worth and he says he doesn't care. we're talking with the guy some more when he walks off around the corner & comes back with a garrett t4 turbo. he says "look at this, brand new and it's been sitting now it's covered with dust...you can take that garbage too"
:eek2:
where's the hidden cameras? this is a sting, right? nope! jer told him he had a lot of work to do for him and to hold on to the turbo for now. he says "well you know where it is when you want to take it"

sorry, no pics yet. we'll be making a couple of trips out there before it's done. i'll be sure to snap some off.

he took us over to his other garage and shows us his next project car after the sandrail is finished. it's surface rusty but who cares, it's a '29 Chevy. OMG! it was so incredibly mobster. stock rear suicide doors. all the glass was flat & square. the roof line had wood which was hand nailed in using tiny nails every maybe half an inch. he wants jer to wire that up too at some point. tight!

Greenblurr93

It's cute.. but pay close attention to what he actually did... he literally unbolted the Corvette body from the rollers, and shortened up the chassis, then dropped the Civic body on it.

Still quite an accomplishment, but it's far from "mounted in the civic"... more like the Civic is mounted on the drivetrain.

A t4 turbo on a honda would be a joke, unless you wanna do purely drag racing and even then Id laugh at you as you take 6 sec to spool...spin like mad then shift and repeat.

It's a lot more work than that. Lots of cutting and welding. He even injured his eyes welding so much. The interior took a lot of work... even if it is cheap Corvette plastic (civic plastic is mighty cheap too). Notice the tubbed rear end and the stockish looking rear hatch cover. Lift that hatch cover and see two huge wheel wells where 18s are tucked because the live rear axle not because it's slammed on lowering springs  I think it even has coilovers though. Anyway, I like it and will not criticize how it was done.

the new owner of our old yellow hatch is running a t4. it spools right about when he hits vtec  i dunno what i'll do with it. use it, sell it, who cares...i'm getting it for free.

is the legend C32 or C27? either way, it would be a beast w/ t4 on it.

One of my friends had a '85 D13 CRX w/ a t3/t4 hybrid on it... that was pretty quick, but it did take forever to spool... seemed like it would no more than spool, and he'd have to shift.. maybe around 4k rpm, then shifting @ 7k.

and yes, it would roll the rubbers 1st through 3rd, if he was heavy on the throttle...

Hondata is suing PGMFI! All of this because someone (a user of pgmfi, not someone who owns or works there) posted up a program that gave people Hondata's code. It was removed and Hondata is still going after them. You have to read these demands they are asking for. Like how Hondata wanted to be an invisible moderator of the site, and then would settle for being a visible moderator. :screwy: Hondata also didn't want any of the conversations getting out to anyone else, and they said that they would write up the statement to post to the public. Hondata's got some balls...apparently small balls for taking things this far, but they've got balls nonetheless. I understand that they're product/code was infringed on, but it was taken down after they had the creator of the program FIRED from his job by blatantly lying to his boss. That's lame.
