Ugh..damn autocross. It rained for my entire heat and on my best run I took the last little corner too wide and started braking on all the crap that had been pushed to the side...slid straight through the corner.

OH! And I broke my clutch pedal...yes, the pedal, or rather the mount. Im in the process of trying to make heads or tails of the pedal assembly to get the damn thing out.

How do you suggest I do that with all the pedals disconnected? :P and it was under a tree.

Greenblurr93

Put the tent up around it... I bought a portable car port for that very reason. It comes in handy esp for those spur of the moment FL downpours

Yeah well..I was dead tired too, hence me falling asleep IN the car..although it was quite nice..with the rain on the roof etc, I slept well.

well i'm averaging 25mpg in this civic...my last civic i was averaging 40mpg :(

but i've managed to almost run out of gas twice, i mean i was pulling up to the gas station and the car was wanting to turn off...that gas guage moves pretty fast...i can fit exactly 10 gallons in...i thought it held more :dunno:

FrodoGT
04-07-2008, 11:36 PM
it should be 11.9 but I NEVER got that in my crx. Oh btw, I averaged about 25 in my b16. But it never was running perfect. I hit 30 once, dunno how though.

turtlecrxsi
04-08-2008, 09:14 AM
I'd take an average of 25mpg anyday. That's not really that bad with a b18a especially if you are an aggressive driver.

Well, my poor Jeep was rearended just before I turned into the parking garage to pick up my wife after work yesterday. It wouldn't have been so bad except the woman who hit me (because her high heel slipped off the brake) had a freakin' bullbar on her hyundai santa fe! So my rear bumper is toast, the liftgate still goes up and down with a little coaxing. I'll have to do that co2 and hair dryer trick to get the bigger dent out. I'm not really worried about the dents though, just the bumper. But since it wasn't my fault I pay nothing.

My mom and grandmother have been sick for the past week, so I've been trying to stay away from them as much as possible. But it was all for nothing, because I woke up this morning with a scratchy and congested throat. They told me that I've just going to be congested and have a cough, but otherwise feel fine... I don't believe them. I think it's like when I was a kid and they had me go over to my friend's house, so I'd intentionally catch chicken pox. I am very pissed off right now.

Most stock b16s run about 116 whp. Running well that is. So Id peg you at about 95-100 running right. Gawd I dont even wanna know what my d15b7 with dpfi could pull. the b2 is 92 hp, the mpfi b7 is 102 crank hp. I figure that 10hp diff is likely all in the intake mani, so im screwed there.

Not sure but I think it was bambam who just slanted his battery tray a little to get his cai to fit right. I sort of did that but I had to use a homemade battery tie-down across the battery (instead of along the side like stock).

Don't. You'll scar them. Chicken Pox leave awful scars. Even if you don't pick the scabs. I have pock marks on my forehead and one on my nose that has taken 22 years to become virtually unnoticable...

Greenblurr93

And don't forget that they have a vaccine for the chickenpox now too.

CivicSpoon

Does anyone think that if I shoved a hose from an industrial air compressor up my nose, that I could blow all the mucus out of my sinuses without my ear drums busting and my eye balls popping out of my head? What about a plumbers' snake? Could I thread one of those up one side of my nose and out the other, without pulling my brain out? These are the only 2 options I've come up with so far.

BLU CIVIC
04-10-2008, 07:53 PM
haven't they always had a vaccine for pox? but if they get it young then they don't have to worry about getting it as an adult

last weekend we had to go up to corvallis, or for DI state. they came in 4th, you need to come in 1st to go to globals. for a team of all rookies we're proud they made it as far as state.

last week was the school carnival. this year the principal wanted the teachers to take it over instead of the parents....except he never told the teachers. so myself and 2 other moms were at the school from 8am to sometimes 5pm. good gawd am I happy it's over!!!

the last thing I have to do for the school for the year is teacher appreciation May 8th. we're going out on a midnight run to put tiki torches with a blow up flamingo & invitation to a catered lunch in each teacher's front lawn.....

30 tries at getting arrested :ylsuper:
